"I was there recently as part of a Christmas party, otherwise I probably wouldn't have wandered into such a chic, but more upscale restaurant. To eat: As a starter I had the beef cappio. It was very tasty, but could have been 1/3 less and a little cheaper. For the main course there was the sea bream fillet, a smooth 10/10. There were two large fillets and a good portion of rosemary potatoes. I'm actually not a big potato fan, but these were really, really good and nice and crispy on the outside. The spinach with it was also A1. I would argue the best spinach I have ever eaten. Afterwards there was a chocolate souffle. Nothing special, but also very good. Service and waiting time: There's not much to report about the service. Nice and accommodating. Even with a larger number of people there was no confusion and everyone got their food at the same time, everything was great. The waiting time before and between courses was perfectly coordinated, that's all you can say. Never for a moment did the thought arise: “The food could come slowly.” Perhaps more to this point, we were there on a Wednesday evening and there wasn't very much going on. Ambiance: 10/10 Rustic but very cozy. Exactly my taste. Conclusion: It probably wasn't the last visit to the Gallodini. I will definitely come back again! Parking: There is a relatively large parking lot directly in front of the restaurant. Unfortunately, you couldn't really see it in the dark. So I parked on the street and was a little annoyed. But I know for next time."

"General We were asked by acquaintances whether we know “local” in Leverkusen. We've never heard of this restaurant before. It would be nice if the place could offer good food; because in the town of Leverkusen there are small restaurants in our eyes that make a visit. That's why our curiosity was awakened. Ambience on the road From the outside the house looks inconspicuous, rather even somewhat strange. Unfortunately, there are no private parking – a bus stop is also not very close. Our daughter took us and we found a parking lot near the street. The entrance seemed almost like an access to a wild garden. But inside it looked cozy. The restaurant is divided into several areas and a conservatory. The style was rustic for us – in the way of a Balkan restaurant. The tables were empty. Places covered with bread plate and cutlery. A green paper nap was also included. So it was made as in a bistro – simple and suitable. Table series Cleanliness Everything worked neatly well maintained. Sanitary facilities were easy to reach. Service The ladies and gentlemen were friendly and well maintained for the guests. They asked for wishes and wondered if everything tasted. The map(s) The map was quite extensive. There were steaks, burgers, Croatian dishes and Mediterranean dishes. The selection of drinks was also wide: cocktails, wines, beers, soft drinks. Mixed appetizer plate (large edition mozzarella, shrimp, barbecue vegetables, goat cheese, calabic salami, parmesan, salt of Beluga lentils 25,00 € cold plate All herbal parts were grilled optimally and still had light bites and fine aromas. Even the cheese wasn't too violent. The sausage was well tasted. However, the lens salad was the best on the plate. Lentils are usually soft or mild – here they were firm and tasty seasoned. calf liver on apple lenses and potato stamps 24,00 € liver The liver was not boiled, but still slightly pink. The other lens salad was also pleasant and tasted slightly different from the first. The stump was almost a pure one, because it was by no means lumpy – maybe it would have made a little more butter. The combination of ingredients was a hit. Cordon bleu (Kalb mit Bergkäse, Rosmarinschinken , Bratkartoffeln, Preiselbeeren und Salat 27,00 € Cordon Bleu The piece of meat was divided into two parts so that you could easily see the cheese and ham. The taste corresponded to expectations. The supplements were also suitable; the salad was fresh and crisp. The truffle burger with dry Aged Beef, shallots, field salad, mountain cheese and Cheddar Potato Pops 23,00 € Burger could unfortunately be cooked for a little too long. But the taste was not bad. The other ingredients rounded off the plate well. Drinks Haan Mineral Water Fine Pearl 0,7 l 5,90 € Lillet Wild Berry – 6,50 € Gin Mare – 6,90 € Tonic Water Schweppes 0.2 l – 2,50 € Campari Amalfi – 5,90 € Mills Kölsch 0.2 l 1,80 € Incandescent wine (glass – 2,90 € The cocktails were neat and refreshing. The mulled wine was too sweet for us. The Kölsch mill was correspondingly cooled and therefore tasted quite pleasant (good that there was neither early nor rice village I would like to turn around. Conclusion 4 – happy again – we found a place suitable for us in Leverkusen. (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – when it comes again, 4 – again happy, 5 – absolutely again – after “Kuechenreise” Visit date: 11.12.2022 – lunch – 3 people My good experiences are also in [here link]"

"It's been a while since I wrote a review for Old Montana, so here we go. I've no idea why more people don't review this restaurant, but there you go. On our last visit it was once again for a birthday celebration. Our year...od son was under no doubt he wanted to have a pizza salami and Happy Morning alcohol free cocktail for his evening birthday celebration. The other four adults in the party shared a plate of nachos with cheese baked on them and plenty of jalapenos. I had their spicy chilli hamburger with potato wedges which was delicious. We had plenty of alcohol free cocktails that evening because for one reason or another none of the adults could really drink alcohol. Of course, after the main courses the management were secretly informed that they had a birthday boy on the premises so out came the birthday music and a large wedge of brownie cake with plenty of cream for the special guest. He was chuffed. What made the whole evening for us was the service. Our waiter a guy who we have seen working at Old Montana ever since we moved to Germany in made all the difference. He was friendly, professional, helpful, understanding and chatty without being too obtrusive. He had absolutely no problem with the fact that we had a baby in a pram in the restaurant fortunately a little baby girl who was as good as gold all evening. Whether she knew that her uncle was celebrating his birthday was unclear. It was because of the outstanding sevice that I'm happy to leave anExcellent rating this time. Hey guys, why not invest some time to share your experiences in the Old Montana amd make them even more well known than they are already"
