"The Indian restaurant Ishwari according to what I have been able to compare to today, I consider it the best Indian restaurant in Mâconnais. Savors and generosity are the slogans of this establishment. On the one hand you have the explosion of tastes in the mouth with their Indian specialties and more generally south eastern and on the other hand at the end of the meal you are really no longer hungry because there is really a lot of them in the plate! The only flat is perhaps the quality of the desserts especially that of the ice that for some years has declined compared to before which the producer was a renowned alpine glacier... But it's still good for a restaurant. For someone of good fork like me it's that happiness this kind of restaurants in the world, unlike those who fight gastronomic and when you pay the bill you're always hungry! The prices (see the portions) are correct and the boss really the friendly Indian good paw!"

"I ate there for the second time one night. We benefited from a room upstairs, the frame is very nice with a beautiful view of the Lamartine esplanade. The dishes we have chosen have all been very good in good quantity. The presentation in the plate is also well done. The service is fast and quality. However, the rate band remains high for a brewery: 110€ for two without taking wine. I'll probably come back, I recommend."

First the professional side is omnipresent, no fault, staff precision. The Valentine’s dinner may not be the best format to apprehend the level of cuisine, because the choice does not necessarily go on a dish that you would like, but rather on a small culinary history that this time around the truffle! we will not take all the dishes one by one, but everything was perfectly controlled and the products put in value.So that the list of dishes was rather light, We love the wine map because there are for all the scholarships and we can be enjoyed with very nice names.Bravo and thank you, soon."

"The setting is typical, but the terrace is extremely noisy due to the road and the pedestrian crossing. Good welcome. The service is fast. The menu is tempting, but the dishes are not up to par. The eggs meurettes were overcooked and the vol-au-vent, although plentiful, was heavy and served with uncooked rice, which was so dry that we reported it. For dessert we chose ice cream which was basic with mini scoops without any decoration. In summary, it wasn't really a great culinary adventure."

"We really enjoyed our meal here, served by friendly staff at good prices (just over 30 euros for two main meals, a glass of wine, a beer and mineral water) on the pavement terrace outside.Good choice of food with photos which was very helpful as it meant we knew exactly what we were getting! (Can't remember whether there was an English translation as well, but don't think it's fair to mark places down for not having this)Only foible is that it's quite noisy - there is foliage separating you from the traffic but still quite noisy."

"I very rarely post comments because during a meal in a restaurant there is generally an exchange with the team or the bosses, whether the meal went well or not, which can happen, we discuss it a few times. moments, once things are said, there is no need to write them down. We must not forget that a restaurateur remains a merchant and that the basis of commerce is the exchange with his customers. This makes me start at the end because at no point during our meal did the 3 people who attended our table ask us if everything was going well. I expected that when it was time to pay, the young man at the desk, located at the entrance to the restaurant, would worry about it, but no… Addition, credit card, thank you and goodbye. This would have avoided my half-hearted comment. This establishment is ideally located, close to the center, on the water's edge. The setting is splendid, even in rainy weather and the decoration is thoughtful and careful. It’s a shame that there is no consistency between the wow we had at the entrance and what happened next because shortly after we discovered that the staff in the room were not very smiling. The menu is well balanced and tempting, the prices are rather at the high end of this type of restaurant but this is not surprising as the setting is pleasant. The ordered dishes arrive quickly, are beautifully plated with color in different dishes chosen carefully but the cooking, seasoning and taste are not there, I am naturally only talking about the dishes that we ordered, namely, semi-cooked tuna steak, Charolais beef steak and French toast which are not the cheapest dishes. Really a shame because the potential of this establishment is enormous and it only takes a little to maintain the wow from the beginning until the moment of payment, a few smiles, exchanges with customers cost nothing, enhance its customers but also the place and allow, by listening and passing on the right information to the kitchen, to serve dishes that are as good as they are beautiful, consistent with the establishment which is superb."

"It's a mass occupancy as it should be done. This chain is located in large commercial centers throughout France. In this industry we had slightly braided ham, carved by a huge joint in front of us with a rich Madeira sauce. Here, once you have been served your main course, you will help with a lot of secondary dishes from the constantly supplemented secondary dishes. Wary the temptation to help me, everything that looked tasty and consequently unable to move all afternoon, I had a few hot, cracky chips right out of the frit. My wife had a help of green beans, slightly sawed in butter and garlic. The ham is beautifully sweet and gentle, but full of flavured and enriched by the Madiera sauce; add the crispy of chips to crunch and you have the perfect light lunch. We shared a 25cl Carref crisp dry rose from the south; enough for a glass everyone. For the desert, my wife had a bowl stacked high with fresh fruits selected from another help themselves buffet. I went for my favorite, a big, round raspberry tar. I always find that amazing. A crunchy, short bread, tart case, slightly larger than my hand, is filled with a layer of patisseurs cream and covered with a densely filled layer of raspberries. There are things you can add to it, cream etc. I never disturb. It's just perfect as it is. This whole meal for two, including wine and coffee, came to €23. If we travel through France, we don't use highway service anymore, better than the English version, although they are. Now we just drive from the highway in every largish city follow signs to the nearest Centre Commercial, rarely more than one kilometre or two, and there we find a flunch. Remember that this is not fine food, this is great food, served quickly and inexpensively in a mass catering. Remember the French take meals seriously going between 12 noon and 2.pm"

"I mean it's really not my kind of place, but it was clearly popular. My food (when I eventually got what I ordered) was perfectly fine (the accompanying vegetables were actually very good), and my wife and daughter were fairly happy with their food too. Service was ok though trying to pay took a while. If you're staying at the Mercure down the road then this is better than eating in their restaurant."
