"We haven't eaten at Maharaja since moving to the new restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. A little smaller than before but still comfortably furnished with a typical Indian flair. We had pre-booked a table for 5 people and spontaneously brought one more person with us, that wasn't a problem. We tasted the different dishes among ourselves and they were all very tasty. Only in my coconut-pineapple chicken the meat was a little too firm for my taste and it was seasoned too lightly. The mango lassi was very good. We'd love to come back."

"Nach Inhaberwechsel und Neueröffnung (unter dem gleichen Namen) im August 2023 waren wir nun das erste Mal da. Es ist so viel schöner und gemütlicher als vorher, großartig! Die Speisekarte ist sehr umfangreich und es gibt eine große Auswahl an veganen und vegetarischen Gerichten, vegane Ente zum Beispiel. Mein Highlight waren die mit Hackfleisch gefüllten Tintenfische als Vorspeise. Hab ich noch nie irgendwo gesehen dieses Gericht. Viele verschiedene Nachtische und wer blauen Tee möchte, wird hier auch fündig."

"I highly recommend this place! The tables were perfectly cleaned and the seats were particularly comfortable. Surely my little thing comes here with my relatives and can rely on me to be served masterfully. What I really recommend is the desserts. We were there for the fifth time and tested every visit a pinch of newer."

"I was lucky to be intorduced to this small restaurant by a copule of Greek colleagues who took several of us there to eat. The restaurant has two floors and as we were a large group we had the upstairs floor. We were all sat...together and the organic grek wine which was ordered was lovely. The straters came out next and this was served on several large trays for us all with adequate food on each tray for persons. The staff were all very polite and it was nice to speak a littel Greek to them although most of the ordering was all done by my colleagues from Athens. The tray of meat which was brought out was phenominal and an abundance of different cooked meats was on offer. I know this had been specially ordered so this may not be on the general menu on offer to the normal patrons who visit here. The staff even brought up some traditional Greek music where one of my two colleagues provided us with the entertainment showing off his dancing skills. This was a fabulous evening and the cost for of us was euros per person. excellent value though I dont know if this had been negotiated. The food and wine here is excellent and i would thoroughly recommend a visit if your in magdeburg."

"We were visiting friends and eating with them. Apart from the fact that it was very visually necessary to get used and the prices that were not on a menu, as there are simply no menus, we have been well supplied. "Very busy restaurant. Had one of the last tables outside . Nice ambience outside . Very good menu . I chose rump steak and my wife chose the Denver steak [ fillet steak]. Both cooked to perfection and delicious washed down with a very good rose wine from Munich. Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke good English. We will visit again when we next visit Magdeburg. Three other couples/friends of ours ate here the same night and all were very happy with the food etc."

"Small rustic restaurant with a great vaults beautifully decorated us. The furniture has come some years. But you want to drink food and not live there. Our young waitress was on zack and friendly. The menu and drinks and prices were top. We had ordered 5 different dishes. All fresh and very tasty prepared. Sojanka. The Knaller. If we were to live in MD, we would certainly be there regularly. To get through the menu, this would take some time, because the selection is great."

"we had a series of vegetarian little dressed and the creamy mushroom pan. the spanakopita (like mini samosa were delicious and very light. the tzaziki was good, and grilled vegetables well made. butter beans in tomato sauce were delicious. grilled peperoni (lightly sharp paprika with garlic. were artistic. the mushrooms in the saw were only stolen, but serves us not to stick to Greek food. we were a bit of a mini salad drowned in sweet dressing. house red wine was sufficient and service fast and efficient, although the restaurant was almost full (on Thursday at 18 o'clock.)"

"magdeburg was only an intermediate stop on our extended weekend trip before it should continue to weimar.Our hotel recommended us for dinner, among others, the restaurant adria (croatian cuisine.) a very good recommendation. the restaurant was fully booked, yet with a small dog we can make a table in a small corner. the food was delicious, appealing, rich and inexpensive. the service was flott and friendly."

"Das Botanica ist ein sehr hübscher Laden aber sehr preisintensiv. Leider wird der hohe Preis der Qualität der Speisen in keinster Weise gerecht. Optisch hübsch angerichtet, ist es doch leider geschmacklich alles unterer Durchschnitt. Da die Hauptküche im Keller ist und hier stark mit Schimmel zu kämpfen ist, wird auch schon mal nach drei Tagen die Streußel vom Kuchen gekratzt und neue drauf getan. Dann geht er wieder in den Verkauf. Die Chefin mit ihrem ungeheuerlichem Ego ist schon als Narzistin zu bezeichnen. Ihr Umgang mit Angestellten spricht sich in ganz Magdeburg rum. Ein ehemaliger Koch dort hatte die Nase gestrichen voll, kündigte und hat in einem richtigen Restaurant am Schleinufer in der Küche angefangen. Frau Gaidamacha zutiefst Beleidigt, schrieb dem neuen Vorgesetzten wie schlecht und unmöglich ihr Koch war. Das sagt alles über das Niveau ihres Führungsstils und ihres Botanica aus! Auch sämtliche ehemalige Mitarbeiterinnen klagen über die unmöglichen Zustände dieser Lokalität und der Inhaberin. Leider keine Empfehlung und eins der schlechtesten Restaurants Magdeburg."

"The Pizza House is located in the north of Magdeburg in the New Neustadt directly on the busy Lübecker Strasse. The restaurant has a small outdoor area on the sidewalk of the main road and a guest room. The guest room is very simple and rustic. Coziness or well-being does not come up here. "A small place with beer garden and a lot of passion. We have been eating here several times and it has tasted super every time. You can see that is still freshly cooked here. The owner as well as the employees are super nice and attentive. It is recommended to book in advance as the restaurant is usually very well visited. On hot days, the homemade ginger lemonade should be sampled. Very refreshing. On demand we were told that even the ginger syrup used originated from its own production. So if you want to drink a beer in a loose round or want a delicious meal, it's good here."

We asked for max. 1.5 hours and should exceptionally get a table top right at the entrance. bad location, away...We have gone and found a delicious alternative in the steakhouse toro grosso. 2 hours later we saw on the way back that it was just as empty in the first restaurant!"
