"we have often been in this restaurant in recent years, but this is a whole new experience. Drinks were excellent, but the rest was a real disappointment. first we ordered fish that came into the blande and bitter. I usually don't send it back, but it wasn't possible. it was then replaced by another meal by us on our request, but how badly evolved. we received no apology, no free drink or snack. note that we were charged the full amount including service fee. it is a real shame because the place is beautiful and the prices are not low. but the owners should really rethink their employee training in terms of food quality and service. not sure we are back until the change of managements. they condemn their time and their money is not wasted."

"Per il secondo anno festeggiamo il nostro anniversario alla Locanda. Per cambiare però ceniamo nel dehor esterno (molto carino e piacevole con le sue ampie vetrate) a base di pesce. Il servizio è come sempre professionale ma allo stesso tempo alla mano ed informale e ci si sente subito di casa. La cucina prevede un menù “istituzionale” ed uno estemporaneo in base alla stagionalità e reperibilità di alcune materie prime.  Il premio per la creatività va al risotto con zucca e mazzancolle all’interno di una piccola zucca. Sublime (ma anche tutto il resto no scherza). Ritengo questo ristorante adatto ad una clientela “matura” che desidera trascorrere una bella e tranquilla serata facendosi coccolare degustando buon cibo e bevendo buon vino. Allora mi sa che sto proprio invecchiando. "

"Il personale era molto attento alle allergie e ha apportato modifiche al menu per accoglierle. Ho optato per il menu a due portate a £12,99 e ho scelto una pizza con salsiccia e pollo con formaggio vegano, che era assolutamente deliziosa e che faceva venire l'acquolina in bocca. Successivamente ho preso il keksteig vegano con sorbetto al posto del gelato, che era abbondante e non pensavo di riuscire a finire, ma era così buono che l'ho terminato in poco tempo. Non vedo l'ora di tornare e scoprire il resto del menu."

"fantastic food! we had a very nice surprise, as this requires high quality Italian kitchen well. makrele bonbons were sofet and fresh. seafood pasta was excellent with more moss than real pasta. the shellfish was so fresh. squid, squid, squid, squid, squid, squid and a massive longustin. the Puglian rice with potatoes and mud was unique and also very beautiful. all are finished with a big tiramisu. can't wait to go back! probably best Italian restaurant in glasgow."
