"I am righting this review 9-45 pm after trying to sleep. But they are carrying out maintenance very loud banging. So have been and asked them to be quiet. The response is that the kitchen is open all day so they cant do it during the day. If this is the case then I should have been informed before paying £130 a night. Who in their right mind thinks that starting work at 9-30 pm in a hotel next to bedrooms is this best policy needs to revaluate there position."

"My family and I went to this restaurant for breakfast, but two of the meals were missing items and the quality of the food was poor. The sausages were like sponges and the meat content was questionable, the poached eggs were hard boiled, and the bubble consisted of only mashed peas. There was no apology for the missing items and one breakfast was missing eggs, fried slice, and bubble - all of which were brought over on separate plates at different times. The plates were collected with uneaten food still on them, and no one asked if the meals were okay or why so much food was left. Despite the low quality of the food, the prices did not reflect this - they even charged us for a cup of hot water. When we went to pay, we mentioned that we were not impressed with the food, but were told, "if you don't like it, don't come back" - which we won't. It seems that they were not concerned about losing our business as the restaurant was packed, although I cannot understand why people would enjoy eating there."

"we love this little place! we are always very welcome. ideal for just immersing to have a coffee and a relaxing or friends for one night. we were already at many places and never had a bad...Meal we had everything from mockery to omelette, toasties to black laces always freshly cooked and always delicious. there is a real feeling of holiday about nazare and they forget that they are in the middle of gillingham! definitely worth a visit."

"Have been to Confucius several times for dinner and it is always great. You pick your starters and second course first. Then once finished, it's onto the mains. The very friendly and attentive staff come back to see if you would like more of that course. For starters, we had the Sesame Prawn Toast, Crispy Seaweed, Barbecued Spare Ribs and Chicken Satay Skewers. For second course, we had the Mongolian Lamb with Garlic Sauce and the Crispy Aromatic Duck with Pancakes. For mains, it was the Crispy Chilli Beef Peking Style, Kings Prawns with Garlic Peppercorn, Singapore Rice Vermicelli Noodles and Special Fried Rice. The food was absolutely fantastic and at £21.90 per head, good value for money. A must visit if you like Chinese cuisine."

"Although I am not typically a patron of Starbucks, I decided to stop in for a coffee while waiting for a train. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The service was adequate, but the coffee itself was lacking. It was weak and had very little flavor, and the milk had a slight sour taste. It didn't seem spoiled, but it certainly wasn't the freshest."

"What a fantastic restaurant, we were visiting family who took us here (they have been here lots) and I’m so glad they did. From the outside it looks run down BUT oh my days when you walk inside it is fantastic, the restaurant is decorated so lovely well, light, modern and fresh. We where greeting the moment we stepped though the door we were shown to a lovely table. The menu is easy to read and understand what each dish was, the staff couldn’t do enough for us. The food was beautiful I can’t fault it. We had our 2 sons with us 10 8 and they had a great time the waiter joked with the boys and put them at ease. The food was amazing so fresh and tasted delicious. We can not recommend this place enough and can’t wait to visit again"

"The new owners here have excelled themselves!! Popped in with my partner yesterday for lunch before the school run with the dog, really friendly staff, great new look and the food was amazing I stayed with the dog and the kids came after school because the atmosphere for a Friday afternoon evening was safe and pleasant, back garden and all the work, spot on! I called the neighbours up and had a dad's night and left eventually around 10.30pm really happy to have a great village pub back, dog and child friendly with awesome grub, thanks to all the staff for a great time, see you soon"

"Walked in and no one said hello or welcome very hostile service I asked for a high chair and they said yes but have to move oushchair which I was going to do anyway but the tone of voice was like I was one of her children very rude then breakfast turned up and my bread had big bit of mould on my toast asked for new one they took bread off and gave it me back then actually charged me full price aswell not even a sorry"

"4 of us, two couples, one with a baby, we decided not to cook. Decided on The White Hart as the previous Sunday lunches were good. We were not let down food was good and hot even though it was busy, baby stayed asleep and for a newborn that was great. The only issue was desert, it said sourdough bread pudding it turned out to be bread and butter pudding, slices of sourdough soaked in egg mix then baked, sultanas added after as they were loose not embedded. It was ok, especially as I don't like the sultanas. I normally pick most of them out. Will return soon"

"We traveled to Kent this weekend to spend time with family. We decided to book Pizza Express as it was one of the kid’s favourite places to eat. As soon as we entered the restaurant we could tell it wasn’t going to be great. It is quite a small restaurant and we waited quite a while huddled in the door way waiting for someone to come over to seat us. Once someone approached us they didn’t seem like they were expecting us, even though we had booked a table. They didn’t know where to seat us. Eventually we got seated and once again no one seemed interested in serving us. We got our own menus from the stand. A staff member eventually came over to take our order. They brought out the starters and handed out the adults and eventually the kids came out last. This is always a major frustration for me. It can sometimes be difficult enough eating out with kids and it makes it so much worse bringing out kids meals last. They did it again with the mains. By the time the kids meals came out our pizzas had started to go cold and their pasta was piping hot. So we spend so much time trying to cool down there’s and end up eating ours cold. We didn’t bother with dessert, we were just keen to get our bill paid and get out of there. I have eaten in a lot of Pizza Express restaurants and this was by far the worst one I have ever been in."

"I placed an order at this restaurant 3 months ago and found the chicken curry to be excessively salty. Tonight, after calling to speak with the owner, we were offered a complimentary chicken curry. The person who took our order mentioned that they had received 5 complaints that evening about salty chicken curry. The chicken curry was satisfactory this time, but the chicken balls were salty and the chips seemed reheated. The special fried rice was fluffy, but the taste was off. I would recommend avoiding this place at all costs."

"My wife and I love Turkish food we were going to try Pasha but the reviews weren't glowing. Checked the menu for this restaurant online and it appealed. It may not be in the best location but well less than 100m off the high street and you are greeted by a frontage that looks out of place. Well lit and stylish. We were greeted by Carmel, there was a lovely buzz about the place people chatting and laughing. Cold meze was brought to the table, houmous, esme salad (chilli), mint yoghurt, aubergine and potato (so good we took a lot home) and vegetables in mayonnaise together with some beautiful warm bread. The menu is exactly what you expect but the prices are unbelievable. My wife had mixed shish, I had mixed grill, my son had doner and my daughter had chicken tenders (would have fed an adult), we all had 2 rounds of drinks and it came to less than £50. Metin, the owner and chef came out to greet us and check our meal was ok. There were a couple who had eaten there 2 to 3 times a week for 4 years and I could understand why. Nothing was too much trouble. I cannot wait to go back this Saturday if only for lunch."

"Waited ages for our drinks order to be taken, once ordered we waisted ages for our starters. We had the vegetable tempura and the fish cakes. The veg tempura was lovely but I’m not actually sure what the fish cakes were. They looked like some kind of sausage patty . We then waited more than half an hour for our starters and had to ask how long they’d be. The pad Thai smelt like dried dog food and was literally inedible. The chicken curry was terrible and the Singapore rice wasn’t too bad but very spicy. Crispy duck was okay but very dry and the cucumber was like rubber. Was so dry it was unreal. The staff were okay but the food was so terrible my partner has been really unwell from it so we won’t be returning and certainly won’t recommend"

"I was told when I walked in that my table is only available for an hour because it’s been booked for an hours time. This was absolutely fine as I did not expect to be here longer than an hour and was also told I would not be here in an hour. My pizza came fairly quickly which I was impressed with however after finishing my mains I waited over 40 minutes for my dessert to come by this time I had been waiting far too long I did not want it. You have to order via the app and pay for everything in advance and order desserts in advance so did not have the choice to wait and decide if I wanted it. There was no real apology for the delay I asked about the desserts once and was told they would be put pronto. 20 minutes later and still no desserts. I would highly not recommend anyone ordering dessert from here. I already tipped via the app due to the service we received when we walked in but wish I just gave the money to front of house rather than everyone via online tipping. Disgusting wait times would not be coming back."

"We had our first take away from Punjabi Tadka this weekend. We know the chef from his Vari days in Newington. Food cooked by the head chef Punjabi Tadka reflects true flavours of Northern India. Chicken tikka butter masala on bone was very tasty, tender and fiery. So was lamb vindaloo as you would get it in Goa) and lamb biryani. Well done chef. If you want to taste authentic North Indian food with no frills then Punjabi Tadka is the place for you guys and gals. As 95% Indian Restaurants and takeaways in 20 miles of Punjabi Tadkka aren't authentic Indian and serve Indian-Pakistani/Bangladeshi food."

"I am extremely disappointed with my recent order from your restaurant. Normally, I love your food as it is always well-prepared and delicious. However, this time it was quite unpleasant. The chicken in both dishes seemed undercooked and the Bruma had more heat and flavor than the madras. Additionally, as a loyal customer, I was expecting a couple of fresh popadoms with sauce, but only received one soggy popadom without any condiment. "I used this place for years when oz ran it and always enjoyed it. However, I've used it twice under new management but there will not be a third time. The 1st time,the New guy had just taken over,my kebab meat seemed to have been sitting around a while,I asked for no cucumber or tomato. I got just cucumber and tomato. I also ordered a cheese burger with fried onions,they were raw. Also the chips were missing. 2nd and final time I used it, again,raw onions and garlic sauce on my kebab instead of chilli. Come back Oz,I'm hungry."
