"Muy buen sitio se come bien, precio acorde con la calidad de la comida, el servicio exquisito, todos los camareros muy atentos y Alex en particular un encanto, sincero y amable. De tapa unos mejillones muy rivos. Sin duda volvería a repetir. Las almejas muy buena, el pulpo seco súper recomendable y calamares fritos y boquerones también muy buenos. El secreto algo pequeño pero entendible por destacarse por su pescado y marisco."

"Me he llevado una muy grata sorpresa con este restaurante. Tras leer aquí las críticas, esperaba comer bien … ¡pero no tan bien! Todo lo que comí me encantó.¿Cómo es posible que en un restaurante de pueblo (dicho sea con el mayor de los respetos) se pueda encontrar una cocina tan original y bien elaborada? El servicio es muy bueno, bajo la atenta mirada de Ana, la propietaria. En los fogones está quien creo es su madre, que es encantadora. Tiene una buena y completa bodega. Los precios son muy moderados. Ana, por favor, cuando os den la primera estrella Michelin, no os subáis a la parra. Estoy deseando volver a Calahonda para ir de nuevo a este restaurante."

"Este lugar tiene casi todo para triunfar, pero conmigo fue un poco caótico. La comida reguleta, la burrata esquisita pero las milhojas nada de milhojas y mucho de pastel. El lagarto a la brasa, demasiado hecho y quemado. Y el servicio, muy bueno en intenciones, pero mal, muy mal. Nos tuvo 40 minutos sin tomar nota y cuando por fin venía una chica a tomarnos nota, nos dejó sin atender al aparecer de repente otros clientes (entiendo mas habituales). Ahh, y si reservas menciona mesa baja. Si no te pondrán en mesa alta aunque en toda la noche no se llenen las bajas..."

"Un lugar buenísimo, de esos en los que vas y te sientes como en casa. Te sientas y nada más atenderte te ofrecen una tapa de bienvenida, un obesiquio que te hace sentir que estás en el sitio indicado. No sólo la comida casera estuvo buenísima, sino que tuvimos un trato como si fuéramos clientes de toda la vida. Siempre hay algún pero (no puede ser perfecto, sino sería el cielo), que en este caso fue que los clientes dejaron el aseo bastante sucio. Algo que se olvida por la atención recibida. Pero sin lugar a dudas unos de mis lugares favoritos después de mucho tiempo. PD: el bocadillo buenísimo como si me lo hubiera hecho yo en casa"

"Fue una grata comida, el pasado martes, croquetas variadas, navajas , boquerones a horno, su plato estrella la espicha y una ensalada de tomate con aguacate. Muy buen producto, bien hecho y muy bien atendido. Las sugerencias que nos dieron fueron muy correctas. Tiene buena bodega a unos precios, quizás, algo elevados. No tienen carta, pero si 2 o 3 pizarras con todos los precios con el IVA incluido, con lo cual no hay sorpresas en la cuenta. Complicado para aparcar"

"Posiblemente Juan García es la mejor opción en toda la zona. El local es amplio y cuenta con dos terrazas; una de ellas cubierta. La carta de vinos es completa y variada. La comida es un auténtico lujo, platos contundentes y de mucha calidad. Pescados, mariscos, etc; en general muchas y buenas opciones. Servicio amable y profesional; el personal es muy correcto y educado. Sin duda el mejor de la zona. Recomendable reservar ya que el establecimiento suele estar muy concurrido."

"We have passed this place next to the Repsol station on the old old Granada Road many times after a a days walking or visiting Granada and have always been impressed by the number of cars, vans and lorries parked there which we take to...be a good sign. We have just got round to visiting it for lunch and it lived up to our expectations. From the outside you might expect dishes to be on the expensive side but were in fact very reasonably priced. We opted for the 10 euro menu, my wife started with a refreshing salad while I went for the fish soup which contained chunks of white fish and a plump prawn in a tasty. For mains she went for grilled sole while I tried the meatballs which were fine but but perhaps a little bland for my liking, both served with home made fries.We were both full for postres but had 2 espressos instead. The whole lot came to 20 euros including bread and a large bottle of water. While we were there it started to fill up with elderly Spanish couples out for lunch, a group, some men in suits but even more in high vis jackets and work boots. The later clientele were clearly regulars whose food appeared almost instantly while the rest of us were allowed to eat at a more relaxed pace. It says its open from 7am to 00.00 Monday to Sunday although I am not sure if food will be served all hours. The whole place is clean and well lite but still traditional Spanish in style. The waiters wear smart casual and are pleasantly relaxed but very efficient. We look forward to exploring the menu further on another visit- some of the platos combinardos looking interesting as do manu dishes on the main menu."

"We went to this restaurant on a friend's recommendation. all the food was perfect, schisy, though yes, very expensive and without a letter to know what you're getting. what added the food was the wine, it was a great payment of capellanes breed that in letter was at 35 € (of wines if I had letter on request) and in the account we were charged 45 € on the basis that they had forgotten to change the price, and before our claim they tagged it in front of us with a pen. in short, some scoundrels."

"We visited this establishment as part of our summer holiday. 2 adults and 2 kids. We shared a couple of starters, the kids had excellent bacon and cheese croquetas to start, we shared a carpaccio which met expectations, a little more oil and some capers would have made it perfect. Both dishes were presented very elegantly. For the main course we shared 3 gourmet pizzas which were all fantastic, possibly the best we've ever had, made with care and imagination. The staff were attentive, kind and efficient, the cutlery, crockery and furniture were far better than a standard holiday pizza joint. The toilets were spotless and nicely designed. The prices were a little high but reflected the care and quality of the dishes we were served. However when the bill arrived it was clear something was amiss, our waitress explained that the menu prices did not include 10% IVA (Spanish VAT). We have lived a long time in Spain and I have never experienced this before. Prices always include IVA. So at the end the bill was 10% higher than expected. This meant that the last interaction we had with the restaurant was a bit frustrating despite the fact that everything else had been great."

"Reservamos en la web pero había que llamar para confirmar y lo lo hicimos. A pesar de ello, y de tener el local lleno, Ana la jefa de sala, se desvivió por solucionarlo y pudimos disfrutar de una magnífica cena frente al mar, con la luna asomando por el horizonte. Carta corta pero sugerente. Excelente el carpaccio de gamba roja y el bacalao que nos recomendó. Tras los postres, pudimos tomar una copa con música en directo. Un lujo para la noche de San Juan."
