"This was our favourite restaurant when we lived in Munich many years ago, we returned to find nothing has changed. Food was excellent, typical Cypriot fare of which there was plenty and it all tasted great. The atmosphere is a good one, staff are friendly...and helpful and are always up for a chat and an Ouzo. There is outdoor and indoor dining and it is a good idea to book. It is a little way out of city centre but easy to get to via the UBahn system"

"Was uns gestern bei unserem ersten und auch letzten Besuch im Da Ugo passierte ist wirklich oberste Abzocke. Wir waren stocksauer, aber auf unsere Beschwerde wurde kaum eingegangen. Wir bestellten (als Vegetarier) beide die Pizza Abruzzo Bello ohne den Schinken, dafür mit Zwiebeln bzw. Rucola...In der festen Annahme den Belag lediglich getauscht zu haben. Auf Nachfrage nach dem Belag "Tagesgemüse" bei der offiziellen vegetarischen Pizza konnte man uns nicht sagen was drauf kommt. Also wählten wir obige Methode um unseren Wunschbelag zu bekommen. Die Pizza kam, recht zügig sogar trotz vollem Lokal, der Service war nicht besonders gut oder zuvorkommend aber auch nicht schlecht. Ambiente ist auch gemütlich. Der Blick auf die Pizza eher ernüchternd. Kaum Belag drauf. Wirklich dran vorbei geflogen. Schade. Der Teig aber geschmacklich 1a...naja, ok, dachten wir. Schmeckt gut, wenig drauf, aber lecker...Wirklich satt, Fehlanzeige.Der kracher kam dann mit der Rechnung. Uns wurde der volle Preis der Pizza Abruzzo Bello inklusive dem abbestellten Schinken zzgl. Extra Belag berechnet. Siehe Foto. Wir reden da von 10g Rucola für 1,60 € bzw. Einer zwiebelscheibe 0,60 € extra. Wir haben uns vorne beim Chef beschwert, es hat ihn aber gar nicht interessiert. Wir hätten den Schinken vielleicht für den Hund nachfordern sollen...Ich bin wirklich sehr verärgert über solche Handhabung in der Gastronomie. Hier gehen wir nicht mehr essen!! Wenn es am pizzabelag scheitert... Da ist doch der Einsatz wirklich gering gegenüber der Einnahme!! Verstehe es nicht."

"We used to frequent Mezzodi quite often in the past. First because we live around the corner, second because it is a nice place with atmosphere, nice selection of wine, decent food and capable service. Last year some of the staff left to open up a new joint next street and Mezzodi went down. The place is still nice, food decent, wine selection nice. Service wasn't to great in the past but most of the time ok. But after the change in personell service went down to lucky punch. If you are lucky and they have some kind of lets-do-good-service mood, it is a great place to spend a relaxed time. Unfortunately these moments are rare. Staff focuses in general on checking the music and putting it on high volume, or chitchatting with each other about whatever, or getting news from some regulars about the newest gossip of the neighborhood. Guests are third or fourth priority.In case you get the attention of one of them you might be lucky to get someone who is friendly, knows details about the wine list and gives good recommendations. You get attention of the wrong person, you can give yourself advice. Risk is high to get the wrong person who gives you the impression that your wish to consume some more wine or food is a real challenge for them and they only satisfy your wish because of their generosity. Honestly, I do not want to go to a place in the knowledge that the service might be capable or not. Attentive or not. Message to the owners: improve the quality of your service dramatically. What keeps your income steady right now is the location and the patience of the people who live in the area. But competition is high in Haidhausen, things can change rapidly."

"I rarely write bad reviews. I usually give my opinion in person if I think there is a problem and let the problem be solved. But this time it seemed to not work. Google pho images. The pho at this restaurant does not look like those images. A couple sprigs of greens, ONE tiny lime piece, no sprouts, a tiny amount of meat, one sauce. Very few noodles. Mostly liquid. 16 euros for that! Pho ingredients are inexpensive. There's no excuse. The server never inquired until removing the bowl. The fact that there was a championship football game on made me cut them some slack- but really- there were very few tables filled. I don't think my server cared about what I felt. My meal- grilled fish with mango salad on top was quite tasty."

"Fantastic dining experience from start to finish. I told them I was coeliac when making the online reservation, they called me a few days before the dinner to go through their safety protocols. Knew exactly who I was when I arrived, explained a dish modification before I even brought it up and generally were just very knowledgeable and friendly. Burgers drinks were superb as well, lots of options and honestly best gf bun I’ve ever had and the burger itself was great! Would really recommend :"

"Here we had a larger party of and as it was Friday night, it was slightly more difficult to get in, esp as we didn’t make a reservation until early afternoon. However, they very kindly moved us from right over the kitchen area to...a much quieter nicer table with just our request. The place filled up quickly but the service was very pleasant. They speak both German and Italian, so sometimes their accents made their German difficult to understand;,tho our relatives didn’t have any problems. Wine and beer were ordered at first and as well as mineral water. The beer and wine were large portions and were enjoyed by those that ordered them. I had the pumpkin cream soup, which I really liked, tho I am not keen on cream soups usually. I also had the salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, grated carrots, and used their wine vinegar; very tasty without being too heavy. My spouse ordered a pizza with artichoke hearts, ham, pineapple, and olives with a tomato sauce. It was HUGE! He was able to get a pizza box to take the half he didn’t finish home with him. The others ordered a seafood linguini, a spaghetti dish with ham and tomato sauce, and a meat penne with cream sauce. Everyone was satisfied with both flavor and size, tho a bit more stuffed than usual. There wasn’t any where to put our coats, which is unusual at restaurants in Germany as it makes it less crowded than everything crowded on the backs of chairs. The tables were fairly set apart, tho where we were there was a column in the way making the server have to reach to get the plates to the people on the wall side of our table."

"the owners celebrate their 20-year-old (twenty!) jubiläum from the 19th april to 15th mai with a special 4-course menu and should be in this time in the city, we recommend them to visit them! we love this place and its very special atmosphere, created by sergio and its happy team. excellent food, great service and a good value for money, especially for the lunch menu. This time we had the tortilla di vitello con carciofi,burro e parmigiana - delightful!, followed by a duetto di pesce all griglia su spargel con palate euntelle!"

"the tiato is a highly recommended little Vietnamese restaurant where you really feel comfortable. "I went here with a friend for dinner, we had tried to get in a few times before but it was either closed or fully booked. We had heard very good reviews from friends so we're excited to finally get a table. When we got...in it was warm and cozy. However service was slow, we ordered drinks (I ordered a white wine spritzer and my friend ordered a beer), they both took a while to come and mine came about mins after my friends. Service remained slow, took us from sitting down to getting our mains. I had pasta and it was nice and fresh. My friend had a pizza which was uncooked in the middle. We both ordered tiramisu for dessert, it took a long time to come and then was disappointing. It was completely flavourless. Overall we won't be returning as it was a disappointing and long evening."

"Fishbowl serves build-your-own poké bowl which are easily made vegan. Besides there big selection of fresh veggies and smoked tofu most of their sauces are vegan too. „Back to the roots“ is one of fishbowls signature dishes and is vegan aswell. I’ve been there a view times already and I love the flavor! Their friendly staff answered all of my questions how to make my bowl vegan right away."

"The service was so bad: starting from constantly asking them for cutlery, water, spoons, because the waitress was absolutely nonattentive. She even didn’t bother to wait for my order, but gave me a block and a pen as it seems that it took too long...for her. For god sake, I am Chinese and I know what I am going to order. The wine glass was spotty with old lipstick. The food was okayish, but far from what I got at other Chinese restaurants in Munich. It took ages to pay again as the waitress was running around doing godknowswhat. This was really my worst experience in a Chinese restaurant in Munich"

"The experience we had in this restaurant is beyond great! The food was very nice. And so colorful, it instantly cheers you up. The vibe in the restaurant was lovely as well: nice Indian music and authentic furniture decoration. The waitresses were kind, but...one downside is that they cannot speak English very well. However, the menu is in English, so overall it is possible to order as you want. I am very happy about this restaurant and would recommend it to anyone else"

"I have been visiting the softandhof since approx. 30 years. I was never disappointed or starved after I had eaten my main dish. This time I was disappointed with the amount served and not about the quality (always still good), especially after I had chosen one of the more expensive dishes (near at euro 20).- and was still hungry, which was very surprising. first I thought I might be particularly hungry today, but all the tables next to us had no problem getting their teller ready. that never existed at the softandhof!"

"Auf Empfehlung von Freunden haben wir das Restaurant Roecklplatz am gleichnamigen Roecklplatz getestet. Es hat sich gelohnt, wir werden wegen der ausgezeichneten Qualität der Speisen und dem lockeren Ambiente wieder kommen. Das Steak frites (Bavette) vom Lavagrill war ausgezeichnet - sehr zart und rosa. Der zugehörige Salat wird im Einmachglas serviert! Ebenso kreativ ist die Deko im Industrial-Design. Die Desserts sind hausgemacht und klein aber fein. Das Restaurant ist auch Ausbildungsbetrieb für benachteiligte Jugendliche. Ein super Gedanke, den wir gerne unterstützen. Ich vergebe die fünf Punkte aber nicht aus Solidarität mit dem guten Konzept, sondern wegen der Qualität des Essens!"

"Da wir in der Nähe wohnen, hatten wir schon länger mal geplant, das Marais Soir auszuprobieren! Wir kannten die Speisekarte aus dem Aushang und freuten uns - da wir dachten, dass wir bei den Preisen nicht nur französische Küche sondern inspirierte französische Küche erwarten durften. Der Abend begann gut mit einem netten Empfang, die Karte machte uns die Auswahl leicht - und es ging los. Die Vorspeisen (Ziegenkäse und Fischsuppe) waren gut aber nicht inspirierend. Das hatten wir auch in München schon besser gegessen und für weniger Geld. Wichtiger Lichtblick: die dazu passenden offenen Weine waren super gewählt von der Bedienung und unterstützten den Geschmack der Speisen.Die Hauptspeisen waren schmackhaft - aber von der Größe der Portion her enttäuschend. Weinauswahl passte zwar wieder aber uns fehlte das spannende und typisch französische - Fisch in Safransud koche ich selber besser und für den Preis für mind. 4 Personen! Der Nachtisch passte - leider mussten wir darauf eine halbe Stunde warten genauso wie auf die Rechnung. Zu Zweit ist es einfach zu laut - am Nebentisch saßen 4 Personen dicht gedrängt an einem 3 Personentisch - obwohl sie reserviert hatten...Wir haben uns den Abend nicht verderben lassen, aber wir sind gegangen mit dem Gefühl, zu viel für zu wenig gezahlt zu haben. Für den Preis haben wir schon sehr viel besser und spannender gegessen - auch in München."

"I celebrated my birthday yesterday at the little Villa Flora and it could not have been more beautiful! It was really overwhelming what the hostess and their team have done and how loving and sincerely they have served us! When we arrived, the table was already beautifully decorated for me, a gift table was provided and I got flowers from the hostess. When it was for dinner, the whole team came with a beating and sung me a little stallion and brought us all the food at the same time. The food was really delicious and the portions very large. All in all it was PERFECT and we felt so comfortable!! It is such a dear, warm and personal team that really lives hospitality and gives it all for its guests! I can only say DANKE again and that I like to come back because you made my birthday special!"

Der Service ist äußerst aufmerksam und freundlich und sorgt dafür, dass man sich von Anfang bis Ende wohl fühlt. Das Personal ist sehr gut informiert über die Speisen und hilft einem bei der Auswahl des richtigen Gerichts und Weins. Und dann kommt das Essen geschmacklich sucht es seines Gleichen. Jedes Gericht ist perfekt zubereitet, mit einer Vielzahl von Aromen und Texturen, die zusammen ein wahres Fest für die Sinne bilden. Die Zutaten sind frisch und von höchster Qualität, was sich in jedem Bissen bemerkbar macht. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen. Es ist ein wahrer Geheimtipp und ein Juwel inmitten von München. "I really recommend this place. We were looking for some nice place in Marienplatz and finally found. Earlier we were trying to eat in another place but the staff was so unfriendly that thank God we left them and came to Augustiner Klosterwirt. The staff...was very nice and friendly, the food was really veeery good and tasty. I will come back there when I will be agan in München and I will definately recommend this place to my friends who will be visiting München. The other thing is that We were also impressed that we got the food very quickly. As I said, go and try their food! Cheers"
