"The Golf view restaurant. Sunday fixed menu. A lovely place for Sunday lunch the restaurant is in a beautiful location. This is the restaurant attached to the hotel. They offer a set price Sunday menu. It is extensively a roast menu. The starter I had was chicken liver parfait with a chutney and two slices of toast. It was a nice parfait and the toast was ok, the chutney was bit sharp for me. But overall nice, my guests had the goats cheese tart,and it was delicious. Then we all had the roast beef, the beef was nicely cooked rib, one thick slice, for me not enough. But the others were fine with it. Potatoes were nice and the roast parsnip and carrot were good. The other shredded green stuff was ok, slightly underdone. The gravy was nice, but we asked for extra ,a small jug came out so we shared. Pudding was a chocolate brownie and served with icecream,it was delicious. I and a guest had cheese, (brie) this was cold out of the fridge temperature. Overall.
