"Firstly there is some confusion in the listing of these reviews in that the same restaurant has another set of reviews lower down the ratings. It is the same place but the address is given slightly differently. We decided to go for Italian rather than Spanish as there are so many Italian restaurants in San Jose. Their specialism seems to be stuffed pasta, especially ravioli, and I enjoyed mine with ricotta, spinach and a mushroom sauce (there is a range of sauces as options). The eating area is narrow, along the front, and is right beside the rather noisy open kitchen, which we found a bit too close."

"It is true that the day I ate there suffered some problem with the organization and it took a long time to attend to us. Now, I give you five stars because, apart from the detail of inviting us to a dish for the discomfort of the waiting, the food seemed excellent, of quality and very enjoyable, I wanted to try more dishes. Moreover, it has a more than adequate price, taking into account the quality of the food and the beautiful place in which it is located. a more than recommended site, that should improve the organization a bit and if it turns out that it was only a punctual error, since better than better, more recommended."

"Un sitio estupendo para disfrutar de Agua Amarga y alrededores. La atención y el trato del personal del hotel, especialmente el de Soraya, ha sido exquisito. El hotel es magnífico y está en un lugar privilegiado; las habitaciones tienen unas vistas fantásticas; son sencillas, pero muy limpias y cuidadas; el desayuno estupendo, muy variado y riquísimo (fruta de todo tipo, tostadas, embutido, bollería casera… . Hemos pasado unos días maravillosos."

"Sadly I felt I needed to write a review on this restaurant. The first night we visited we could not have wished for a more first class evening. Great food, great waiter, with service being very efficient. Unfortunately the 2nd visit was not so good. The food was nowhere near as good as the first visit, and the service was desperately slow, though some other people were being served much more quickly. It may have been that we were a group of 7, but nonetheless it was a shame we experienced this."

"El nucli urbà de Nijar no és gaire extens, no així el municipi. És un poble molt tradicional. Més d'una botiga dedicada a la terrisseria. La plaça major no és gran cosa, gent prenent la fresca, i la terrassa de La Glorieta plena."

"A BEAUTIFUL and magical place to enjoy the view, the sea in the background and the food in good company, Ainhoa, the girl in the kitchen, a charming person who recommended some dishes that were incredible along with the waiters Sebas and Nico who helped us. They attended the entire dinner with a smile and were also very professional, close and attentive, the best thing in the place!! I recommend everything on the menu because it was incredible, but the Cabrales croquettes with pear take the gold. The place a 10, the food a 10 and the staff a 10! A place that I will undoubtedly visit again."

"Italian restaurant located very close to the beach of san josé. excellent personnel treatment, we went with a dog and let us in inside the premises, because the terrace was full. we tried the raf tomato salad that was very good, gnocchi four cheeses and truffle risotto, which was the least drip for the rice that had passed. normal price with consumption 39€"

"for me the best of bitter water, excellent food and high quality product, we let ourselves advise some dish for the waiter that was very attentive and we approached, we made dishes for two to share. We started per the octopus marranada a traditional dish that surprised us, then we ate fried galans, a ration of pieces that was brutal, after ratio of exquisite garrucha shrimp, ratio of stop and to end very good fried squids. After dessert we share a cheesecake, my drop of the best I've ever tasted. for what we ate price according to what they serve. We will repeat and advise."

"¡¡D E L U J O!! La comida exquisita!! Una focaccia riquísima y elaborada a mi gusto). La pasta maravillosa, tomamos fuera de carta ese día Calabacín marinado y era tal cual nos dijo el camarero, como un aperitivo muy refrescante y muy rico. Solo tienen terraza, que yo sepa por qué el lugar es muy pequeñito, aconsejo reservar ya que se pone lleno a los topes. El cocinero estupendo y el camarero super atento y amable. "Todo lo que pedimos estaba exquisito. Por lo que comida, perfecto, lugar increíble con unas vistas preciosas. La única pega que le pongo es que al reservar por la web se hizo mal,puso 2 personas aunque 100% marque 4 y no daba la opción de cambiarlo. Es una reserva que si cancelas te cobra 15€ por persona, por lo que no tuve más opción que ir a confirmarla al propio local. Por teléfono hay un contestador que me dejó en espera y al no contestar se autocolgo así varias veces). Como restaurante sin duda un 10. Kid-friendliness: Tienen opción de trona. "the location to make tourism in Almeria is excellent, it is a super quiet area to rest curious where they have shot much of the western films. Easy to reach rooms for disabled, all very clean, seem to be at home, the only glues are that the walls are barely soundproofed and the pillows are very thin but put two at the disposal, comfortable bed, tv, towels (although they would put a little bit more and split a little better) shampoo and gel of envelopes, there is no hair dryer (marked by who listens that very attentive and personal), the restaurant"

"the pizzas of this place are excellent: homemade, fine, crispy edge and with its own personality. especially recommending that the eggplant and the buffalo mozzarella, but all we have requested was very good. it does not fail, when in a pizzeria the magarita is as good as here, is that both the process and the product are of quality! the attention has also been perfect, we have all been pending from us and have advised us about the amounts to order and others. a 10. we are looking forward to asking for the pasta, which apparently makes it fresh and has to be brutal! But we'll probably be back!"

"We got to the restaurant by chance and the truth is it was good. Sun foie flowers with chestnut cream a pleasure. We came back a second time and it was so perfect. pear raviolis, another pleasure. the special bitter water pizza and the salad that also recommended a success. the attention of 10. totally recommended, without any doubt."

"Very rich ice cream, handmade ice cream to take your hip. That could be the headline, the thing is, if you're in San josé, you have to go through the square and make a stop at this ice cream shop. the first thing that attracts attention when arriving is that there are many people waiting to be treated. It might seem like chaos, but no. You just have to take number, like on the market, and wait for your turn. As you approach and step into this small establishment, you touch the counter. I am unable to say the number of flavors there was, but they are many and varied. the lowest price is 3€. the truth, ice creams are cheap for the quality they offer. However, the smoothies get up a bit to the parra. they are €5. but they are vice, it is worth trying them out. Finally, at the door of the ice cream parlor, you can find two large pet drinkers."

"We booked a table on the terrace of restaurant hotel Doña Pakyta. It was by chance we booked so we didn’t know what to expect. First of all the views from the terrace are a-ma-zing. Then the menu is not large but there are enough options. The best is that there are simple dishes with a twist. We went for the fried boquerones with an orange/chipotle sauce: incredible. The boquerones not oily at all, super crispy but succulent and the same time. The chili orange sauce was superb. Then we had a rice with rodaballo (turbot). It is not paella, it is rice more like a rissotto texture, but super flavour and the turbot is so good! We drank a bottle of rosé that was fine. They have more choice for white than for rosé. We wouldn’t doubt to come back and try the other dishes as everything sounded amazing."

"We tried this restaurant mainly because my partners son wanted a pasta dish. It wasn't busy, we sat inside. We ordered drinks, no starter just main courses. We were given an amuse bouche, which was potato salad, but taste like it had some fish in it. The spaghetti Bolognese came first, then my chicken wings with fries. My partner ordered octopus, it arrived, about 10 minutes after our main courses. He said it was nice but slightly burnt. Considering there was only 2 tables occupied in the restaurant, I would have expected all main dishes to arrive together. The adjoining table ordered steak and fries, they sent it back saying it was bad meat, along with some fries which looked pale and under cooked. They had the chicken wings instead. My partner took his son to the toilet, but he came back and said they were filthy and neither had a toilet seat, which is unacceptable. The kitchen and the witting staff appeared to be dis-organised. We paid by debit card and my partner was told we would have to be escorted to the reception area of the hotel next door to pay. This was mildly irritating not least because other customers may have we were unable to pay, which wasn't so. The 3 stars is for the slow service and the toilet facility not up to standard. Also being told that we had to go to another venue to pay. We didn't leave a tip."
