"tapas is a unique Spanish cuisine that lends itself to other kitchens than model. small but interchangeable plates of interesting food. but it's not easy copied. we ate at a tapas place this week I would swear served frozen commercial appetizers. this restaurant not, and out. of dressed that were enough for two of us (not big eater), the at least good was a solid b. sitting outside, drinking decent wein and sharing really good eating is as good as it gets. we're coming back here in a heartbeat."

"Midday meal on the terrace with little shadows because of the wind! Too bad! Child menu always the same for this restaurant but also for others in France. Choose between fries, rice pasta or vegetables. Why not offer a mixed vegetables and faint, this is the basis that we should learn very little! The fries are too cooked and too fat, too thin, it is not controlled. The dish of the day was good, sauce to accompany the fish very good."

"Too much negative, I hope I have enough space. cradle card, zero service, no choice, disgusting tartar, exorbitant prices, hot rosé, no ice cubes, coffee at 2.50 euros, elsewhere 1.50 ! for a Thursday evening said "the Thursdays of nimes", they could make an effort ; after they complain, but given the feedback from the passing people, management should react. "On the outskirts, a nice terrace overlooking the arenas of Nîmes. From the entrance, I see my idea: a brandade of cod in qunelles, with a caviar of eggplants, a little curry juice on a side of the plate, crunchy salad leaves, large slices of zucchini. It is a rare fraicher. The dish is of the same level: from the veal head cut into a rectangle and snacked parallepiped. The inside is soft and foamy, the crispy outside. the small meat juice around is worth the detour, as well as all vegetables just undercooked to perfection. The dessert is a raspberry-glazed cowrin that voluntarily lacks a very small sugar hair, which makes it possible to eat it at will without an outbreak. Awesome.The wine map is also worth its weight of happiness with renowned bottles but also delicious "discoveries" wines at a small price. Addition to 32€ the menu, derisory compared to the time required to make such plates and to the technical mastery of the realization. The service is kind, effective and responsive. Go also to see the interior of the establishment which is loaded with Roman history but also contemporary. If you chat with two owners (the chef de salle - sommelier and the cook) you will learn that they have met in part of their classes at bernard leisure à saulieu, in short that they are all but amateurs... the gourmet bib attributed by the michelin seems to me a poor reward of the talent of these friendly and talented restaurateurs. "we hesitated on the 4 restaurants in the square and priori, we did not choose the right one. dried by the map (with prices we suggest that the kitchen would be of quality) and the superb setting we chose the danieli. first fear on the service when we see that the table next to us receives its dishes at the same time as the bottle of champagne ordered 15 minutes earlier for the apero (the customers were very discontented.) idem for us, the wine (pichet more than mediocre that we have at the end left) arrived at 3/4 of the eaten dishes. I ordered a pizza for my part, this one was pretty good, but I ate better goods. my spouse has priced the duck magret at 20€ and big disappointment! The meat was not cooked enough, favouring the quantity to the quality and the tagliatelle accompaniment was cold and without flavor. Idem for my son's milanaise scalope that looked like an industrialist. So we've made a big mistake on dessert. in total 73 € for half-eaten dishes. really bad because the frame is great, we really need to improve the kitchen. The staff is nice but not hyper pro for this type of restaurant, you have to ask for the same things several times. Note: one wc for the whole restaurant, the wait is long ..."

"Nous avons manger un soir et nous avons apprécier les diffèrent plat .Dans un cadre agréable et bien emménager , on peu manger dehors ou dedans .j'ai pris de la mortadelle à l'entrée et des gnocchis au fromage très réussi .Je n'ai pas pris de dessert car j'ai eu un désagrément et la gérante vu sur place et sympa a pu me fournir un doliprane et je l'en remercie car cela ne fait pas parti de ces attributions .Nous avons payer 71€ deux repas entrée plat dessert et un petit vin italien 37,5 clJe reviendrais."

"Nous avons pris des bols au saumon, riz, chou chinois à 15€. Les portions sont petites, le saumon est mélangé à de la mangue (heureusement j'aime ça) mais recouvert de baies roses qui couvrent tout le goût. Mon collègue a la patience d'enlever chaque baie rose de son plat mais pas moi...Le riz est infect, de mauvaise qualité et mal cuit. Le chou chinois est servi à côté avec une sauce toute faite sans attrait. On attend assez longuement pour avoir l'addition donc on finit par aller payer au comptoir et je prend un dessert à emporter car j'ai encore faim après ce plat vraiment pas top. Le serveur insiste en me disant 2 fois de bien demander à rajouter le prix du dessert à la note, c'est un peu lourd. Pas de sourire au comptoir non plus. On venait régulièrement déjeuner ici il y a quelque temps, on ne reviendra plus, les prix ont monté, la qualité a baissé et le service aussi."

"I know this restaurant because I eat it regularly. it is located near my work. I've been trusting my family this afternoon. I was very disappointed. It was clear that the staff had nothing to do with it! 1h30 for a dish and a dessert at 5! knowing that in the menus we selected there were 3 dishes of the day (so fast) 1 salad and a queen pizza. desserts: creams burned! my spouse had his dish of the day when we all had finished eating!!!!! Despite the fact I told them 3 times that he had not been served. He had taken 1 dish of the day like me!!!! it will have to be explained to me why they didn't do both at the same time! Frankly, it's a lot better when the boss is here! And I'm not going to let him know!"

"We had a tofu hot dog sandwich and a tempo sandwich. Tempeh is not very common in France (if I have seen), so it was a nice surprise to see speed on the menu. Both sandwiches (subs, more likely) were bigger than I thought we would get for 7 euros each. So, it was a good DealBoth also delicious."

"the outdoor dining room is well placed under the trees offering a welcome shade of the burning sun. a good range of snacks and meals are available from the menu map and a special was also offered. I opted for the special dish of tuna steaks grilled to 18 euros served by a careful waitress who spoke English well. Even if she was very busy, she took the time to make a little conversation. a large glass of pressure beer was a very refreshing accompaniment to the meal. If I'm back in the dark again, I'll certainly make another visit."

"very nice servers, listening and available. the terrace is well in the shade with parasols, chairs are comfortable and tables stable. I personally took a burger the azteque really very good: terribly rich, very good quality meat, fresh homemade fries, full salad and plate is particularly aesthetic. I didn't like my beer too much (a stella) but it's a matter of taste. I'm just a little bit of a go, I'm particularly accustomed to Alsatian cuisine and its servings, so when I go to restaurants somewhere else in france I'm often disappointed but there I really enjoyed it. Thank you for the good burger, if I come back I'll be back!"

"We were driving from lyon to narbonne, and stopping at nîmes for lunch was the most logical, given the logistics of our day. we didn't want to face chaos and try to park in the center, so we stopped at pantel, that we found in a pleasant street lined with trees. When you think of a relaxing lunch in the south of france, the atmosphere at pantel is certainly not the image you had in mind. the guy at the bottom of the bathroom playing video poker, and the two-sided table with the two guys who had clearly started the day drinking didn't fit into the Toulouse-Laurence table that you wanted to be the representation of your trip. That said, you might be doing much worse than going through pantel. We ordered the steak tartare that was incredibly fresh (n.b. - freshly chopped steak with fresh cups of egg yolk, onions, oil and pickles) and, frankly, delicious, with carpaccio, again superb. a carafe of wine and some beers completed what was a nice surprise victory while we were just trying to find a quick lunch on the way. It is worth stopping if it matches your schedule."

"restaurant located in the heart of the city-active on a terrace in height and surrounded by vegetation. the place is friendly and allows to forget the possible traffic of cars. welcoming and warm atmosphere on the terrace where we enjoyed our meal. I enjoyed the map, its design and found it much more provided than on the site (ouf !). We were served by the settlement manager (at least it seems to me, because it was the only one not to respect the dress code of the other servers,) I would have enjoyed a little less heaviness compared to some remarks sometimes to the limit of the non-gauge (according to me.) I really found this exception damage be said by the way, but not too disturbing it even when it felt bad I've been having a good night, and I've been enjoying myself. I enjoyed the Italian cuisine and the al-tooth pasta (as I love them.) thank you very much for this evening."

"A pizzeria worthy of that name! From the reception, ns are greeted with smile and professionalism. In one week we went there twice, Sunday noon to the map and Wednesday evening menus 3 courses. It all seduced us! A treat for taste buds without neglecting the good advice for the choice of wines. A very competent staff both in the kitchen and in the service, with a special mention to the friendly and very professional room manager. An address to be remembered and advised, also taking into account the price quality report! We will return with great pleasure."

"Tourist trap to avoid. Arrived 9pm, and we were finally served at 11.30pm. No apologies, or even attempts to let us know how long it would take. For everything from getting drinks in the bar to getting menus we had to get up and ask the waiter, who seemed to be making an attempt specifically to ignore us. The food was at best average and quite expensive.When we came to pay, we were told to get the bill ourselves inside. When we complained about the service, the owner said it was because they only had 2 waiters. If they can't physically serve people, they shouldn't keep taking customers' money or should use some of the profits they're obviously making to hire more staff. Even then, if any of the staff had actually said sorry at some point then I'd probably not be writing such a negative review. Instead the owner was rude and allowed his friends to insult us when we complained - I'm English and was speaking in French and was told to go back to England.Real shame because the location is fantastic next to the Maison Carré and fortunately the attitudes of the people here are not common in other bars and restaurants around Nimes."

"very good meal in this restaurant! I came with aprioris after reading a lot of negative comments about it. The meal was really good. Grilled sardines to start. Copyy and very tasteful entry. followed by calamars and dry chorizo, accompanied by rice. a really good dish, containing a little too much chorizo in my sense, which made the dish a little bit fat, but despite all, a real treat! it all for a very affordable price, with a fast service. the welcome was warm and pleasant. It is obvious that the new manager and his team are making great efforts to catch up with the mistakes of the past. Obviously, efforts pay! continue as this!I recommend this restaurant without hesitation. I'll go back with great pleasure in my next visit to tithes."

"We came to Nimes by train and went to dinner. That was the first restaurant we met. We were immediately addressed by a waiter who has not spoken a single word English (yes I know we are in France, but some English skills are expected anyway). We have a table and then she was sitting on a table for a while talking to some other guests. After we got the menu, we got a fast French menu guide. Since we do not speak French, we had some language problems, of course, but we ordered our food. The food came to our table within reasonable time, at least for three of us. Another waiter then asked what the last person should have. Then we had to order dinner for the fourth person again. When we finished, the last dinner came to our table. The food was good!"
