"On the outskirts, a nice terrace overlooking the arenas of Nîmes. From the entrance, I see my idea: a brandade of cod in qunelles, with a caviar of eggplants, a little curry juice on a side of the plate, crunchy salad leaves, large slices of zucchini. It is a rare fraicher. The dish is of the same level: from the veal head cut into a rectangle and snacked parallepiped. The inside is soft and foamy, the crispy outside. the small meat juice around is worth the detour, as well as all vegetables just undercooked to perfection. The dessert is a raspberry-glazed cowrin that voluntarily lacks a very small sugar hair, which makes it possible to eat it at will without an outbreak. Awesome. The wine map is also worth its weight of happiness with renowned bottles but also delicious "discoveries" wines at a small price. Addition to 32€ the menu, derisory compared to the time required to make such plates and to the technical mastery of the realization. The service is kind, effective and responsive. Go also to see the interior of the establishment which is loaded with Roman history but also contemporary. If you chat with two owners (the chef de salle - sommelier and the cook) you will learn that they have met in part of their classes at bernard leisure à saulieu, in short that they are all but amateurs... the gourmet bib attributed by the michelin seems to me a poor reward of the talent of these friendly and talented restaurateurs. Thanks the artists!"

bar: 4 drinks, no cash ticket, card with "bad prices" without further explanations, no choices. the only positive point is the location facing the arenas. not recommended.

The dishes are correct and the desserts are particularly good but a little expensive (more than 10 euros anyway!) which slows the desire to go.Cadre pleasant in front of the arenas.

Unlike many negative opinions in particular on the service, we were very well received. the rank leader took the time to take into account the intolerances of my wife .the meal was perfect. the bull to be recommended and the baba to the great rum Visualizza piatti

Across the street from the great Roman arena is this lovely place, large outdoor area for eating and tables inside also. The set menu is excellent, with many selections from the Provence favorites. Couldn't be more pleasant, especially when the arena, flood lit at night,...is by your side.

very pleasant restaurant in front of the arenas, terrace on the square; The dishes are well served, very well presented and when asked for potato rissolated in addition to green vegetables, we have been given a plate of potato and this without an extra charge; The salad in dish is very copied with excellent salmon rillettes. to finish an excellent cowrin; despite the price I will return to it if I pass to nimes Visualizza piatti

very well located, at the foot of the arenas (our table gave directly on the arcades,) lisita is one of the good tables of nips, offering a nice regularity in these menus (for testing them in different seasons, we have never been disappointed, quite the contrary.) the freshness of the fish predominant, the brandade is excellent and the baba with a slightly nestled rum the lunch formula visibly fills its basket of the market and the chef knows how to value the local products, playing between tradition and innovation. conclusion: the lisita, in addition to a beautiful room with contemporary décor and its terrace, is an address to remember.

Came here for casual lunch on a weekday. I ordered the menu with a starter of melon ham with shrimps, a main dish of Iberian pork with carrot purée vegetables, and a dessert of fresh strawberry with mousse smoothie. The dishes are...impeccable and the location (right next to the arena) is also very convenient. Others might have left comments about the service being cold or slow, but I would say that it's probably because many of the staff are shy to speak English. They DO understand English, so there is no problem communicating and some even try to speak English to us, which we are grateful of because I feel bad torturing them with my horrible/minimal French. Anyway, don't let the bad commen...

"Enoteca has only been going 6 months or so which may explain the lack of reviews on TripAdvisor but don't let that put you off dining here. We'd been staying close by for the week and hadn't realised at first that this restaurant is also linked to a great little deli about 10 doors down on the same rue. So you have two great places to discover! We stopped in there for a glass of wine first in the last of the days sun before heading to the restaurant for dinner. The owner is a lovely, attentive guy who is clearly very passionate about his Italian produce; food and wine! Over dinner we were well looked after and shared delicious burrata as starter, followed by two authentic Italian pasta dishes for main course. The beef in mine was rich and tender, obviously having been cooked for hours. Dessert were small coffees with a delicious citrus mouse on the side and plenty of biscotti biscuits to dip. Drinks wise we'd enjoyed a glass of white at the deli but moved onto passionfruit spritz for aperitifs followed by a delicious Nero d'Avola to match our mains. This red was fantastically smooth and fruity, with no hint of tannins in the after taste. I was surprised that the place wasn't packed out on a Friday night but there is a festival in town for a couple of days so that could be keeping people busy, but this place will surely gain in popularity and in the rankings in Nimes very soon. Recommend this Italian restaurant which suits this French city drenched in Roman history!"
