"I've been eating here for months and to my surprise today, I've decided to never again return or recommend this place to anyone. Why? As I sat at the counter for the first time, I did what I do at all other places, watch how they cook the food in the open kitchen. It was about 4pm, the usual people are not working in the kitchen, but I recognize the serving staff. What I noticed disgusted me. I saw one serving staff member put bowl after bowl of noodles into the microwave to heat up. Then pour the broth on top. I never saw any one of them put a ball of noodles into the hot water to cook. She'd scoop rice from the rice cooker, pour on the curry sauce but none of the usual ramen cooking procedures I'm used to seeing in other shops around the world. So I got the attention of my waitress and asked her in German why are they using the microwave to heat up food? She Didn't answer after I repeated the question multiple times. Then I thought, okay fine maybe her German is bad. I offered to ask in English but she said German conversation is better. Okay sure. So why not answer me. She said, oh you cannot see from this angle at the bar how we cook the noodles. I corrected her, and said I definitely can see if they're putting anything into the pots of water. How dare they lie to my face. Seriously I am never going back. If their Cook is not able to work then they should just close shop for the day. Don't heat up the noodles in the microwave. Now I know why the noodles doesn't taste right or have a good texture, before. I am not paying any money for microwaved foods, especially when I don't even do that at home. Shame on you for ruining ramen!"

"Ich hatte kürzlich das Vergnügen, hier zu essen, und ich muss sagen, dass meine Erfahrung rundum positiv war. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam, was den Abend noch angenehmer gestaltete. Die Portionen waren großzügig bemessen, sodass man sich wirklich satt essen konnte, ohne sich dabei überfordert zu fühlen. Die Preise waren fair und angemessen für die Qualität der Speisen. Die Auswahl an Gerichten auf der Speisekarte war beeindruckend vielfältig, und ich hatte Schwierigkeiten, mich für etwas zu entscheiden, da alles so verlockend klang. Die Qualität der Zutaten war spürbar hochwertig, und man konnte den frischen Geschmack in jedem Bissen erkennen. Die Atmosphäre war gemütlich und einladend, was für einen entspannten Abend sorgte. Die Zubereitungszeit der Gerichte war erfreulich kurz, was bedeutete, dass wir nicht lange auf unser Essen warten mussten. Die umfangreiche Getränkeauswahl bot für jeden Geschmack etwas. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war definitiv gut, und ich fühlte mich nach dem Essen rundum zufrieden. Die übersichtlich gestaltete Speisekarte half bei der Auswahl, und das Essen selbst wurde frisch zubereitet, was einen deutlichen Unterschied macht. Besonders beeindruckt war ich von den knackigen und frischen Salaten, die eine perfekte Ergänzung zu den Hauptgerichten darstellten. Alles in allem war es eine großartige Erfahrung, und ich kann dieses Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen. Wer auf der Suche nach qualitativ hochwertigem Essen, freundlichem Service und einer gemütlichen Atmosphäre ist, sollte es unbedingt selbst ausprobieren!"

"First of all we live near by Düsseldorf and when we visit it we mostly make our lunch in this pub, cause it have a extraordinary homelike atmosphere, which is given by the mix of selected accessories, friendly service and the normal feeling for a pub. In addition to that it have a nice location in the center of the old town directly on the Ratinger Straße, which is specially famous for his good pubs. Finally I would recommend the tasty and giant cakes, which are baked by a bakery only for this pub and we always rejoice for the next time we visit it."

"When me and my boss travelled to Dusseldrf for the medical exhibition we stayed at the hotel Bristol next door. A few times we had dinner at this restaurant. It was super! Very cheap food, extremely big portions (maybe, like in the whole Germany:)), greek salad and mousaka were delicious! I even liked Greek vodka there, though when I tried it later it was completely terrible. But in this place everything was amazing. Very friendly personal, who, unfortunately, did not speak English (they tried very hard to get to know what we wanted and made fun of our mutual misudrestanding). But we learned some Greek words from the napkins in this restaurant! Some local germans at the next table helped us with translation problems.The interiour is very cozy... STRONGLY RECOMMENDED, ONLY THE BEST MEMMORIES!"

"this place I originally enjoyed very well, and I find the Work-Study-School-Attitüde very good and enthusiastic, finally you rarely see a restaurant in taiwan in Germany, recently there is a ban of drinks to take along "I can understand it. "Perfect for small hunger when you're on the weekend for partying or for in between. All dishes are fresh and quickly prepared. Most people stick to the pizza. The pasta is just as great. All at civil prices. I have been a regular guest for many years and I am glad that the Colosseo has had the courage to restart after the Lockdown 2020. Thank you."

"... according to local people, and they are right. fruit and pleasure is a very special place that serves 3 new dishes daily. they can literally come here every day and never get bored even if they only get vegan and/or gluten-free dishes. I especially like their bratlings (veggie patties,) that make them in many different sorts. if they cannot decide what they can choose, they will get a mixed plate without additional costs. the 10€ deal for a meal and smoothie is of great value considering that they work with a local organic supplier and the portions are large. the place is beautifully decorated in a living room style. there are books about nutrition on the display if they want to learn more about their type to cook."

"I've been living near the Goten Klause for almost 27 years, I've always come past her again and again, and I've always looked at it as a good bourgeois place, which has been well for a long time. Then my brother had to come from Rostock and find a restaurant near me and he said, let's try. Said, done. And it was so good that we went back two days later. It was very good! Very delicious food, very nice, cozy beer garden and great service. Absolutely recommend a secret tip!"

"my first time at the Korean and certainly not my last. it took a little while until we had cooled down through the menu, but then we ordered a recommendation of the very nice service. this came after a short waiting period. you can watch the chefs there as they bruise. it was a completely different taste, as you know it in the asiate. it was super delicious with very great flavors. there were also many Koreans in the restaurant, which is always a good sign. very tasty and my recommendation."

"My partner and I wanted to try some traditional German food, this restaurant was recommended by a member of staff at our hotel. As we walked in it was obviously very busy, so much so that a table had to be cleared and relaid for us, this I took as a good sign. We got given a menu written in English which was a nice touch and we ordered our beer that came quickly. My partner and I both ordered schnitzel with different sauces, all I can say is that they were absolutely delicious! We unfortunately didn't have room for dessert but we will be returning on a future visit to try their traditional Greek specialities and puddings!Great service, great food, great prices and all washed down with good beer and a complementary measure of ouzo. We'll be back! Very happy"

"You feel in the "china house," the noise level, the boxes with empty bottles in the middle of the restaurant,...we feel like in china. eating is then really a ravine, almost like in china, as authentic as possible (it is impossible to get all the ingredients available in china, e.g. vegetables in europa). the prices are moderate. the service is very competent and discreet, communication problems there is not. I had recommended the china house from a Chinese business friend and each time at least half of the guests were Chinese - an untiring quality seal!"

"I found Cafe Nebenan several months ago by accident but am thrilled that I did. I've been back many times and will continue to go whenever I'm free and in the area. The atmosphere is relaxed and a little quirky, there's plenty to read and...people watching to do on the busy street outside. I feel completely comfortable here on my own and it's also a great place to go with friends, be it for coffee and cake or a couple of drinks in the evening. The food is simple; typically there'll be sandwiches, soup and a selection of changing hot dishes but it's always filling and very tasty. The staff are very friendly and eager to please and the owner makes an amazing plum cake! Great food, great atmosphere and great value for money!"

"we were in the past very often in the for it salam eating and were always satisfied. last Friday we were very surprised when we arrived and the tables were not covered, in the individual places at the corners a collection of young men was just there to blur. after mentioning that we have reserved for three people (was not necessary because it was almost empty, except for the types in the corner), was shown in the direction of a dirty table. we set ourselves and asked the waiter if he can wipe the table. he did nicely. of the beautiful ambiente we knew before, nothing was there. Hmm....we were there on 23.12.16, maybe the restaurant on the day didn't count with guests. Anyway, we were up without eating because we felt uncomfortable. Sorry, because we really liked to have dinner. it was always very delicious. just make your own picture. maybe we just had a bad luck --"

"Tafelspitz 1876 is a small restaurant with a few tables on the outskirts of Düsseldorf. The interior of the restaurant is modern, but upscale, warm and intimate.They have 2 set menus, from which you can select different dishes in order to create your own menu and vary the number of courses.We ordered the mid-sized menu. All we had was really excellent. Modern cuisine, but not over the top, nicely presented and with a keen focus on excellence in taste rather than delivering a masterpiece in innovation and food design. Enjoyed it a lot. Just dessert and pastries couldn't keep up 100% with the rest of the meal.Service was very friendly and competent. Since they operate the place with a small crew, it's not always perfect and there can sometimes be a wait slightly too long between different courses. However, I really like the concept - small place, small menu, small team, but great food. Thus small imperfections can easily be forgiven.Good things come at a price, and so at Tafelspitz 1876, but very adequate considering the quality of food. All in all, one of the best restaurants or maybe even the best in Düsseldorf. Highly recommended."

"This family run Italian restaurant is an awesome place. It's got such a nice atmosphere that you feel like you are at home and welcomed. You will be greeted by a friendly guy Michelangelo when you walked into the restaurant. He is a really attentive...guy and provide you a nice service. Their food is also fantastic! I personally like their truffle butter pasta very much. You will smell the flavour of truffle butter while you are waiting. My mouth is watering as I'm writing this! It's withing walking distance from Altstadt through Hofgarten and next to Melia hotel. A highly recommended restaurant and a must go place in Düsseldorf!"

"I have to say that I have eaten only in the usa so delicious. the cheesecakes taste as I know them from new york, there are countless variations - and also many other super-leckere bakeries like brownies, carrot cake, muffins, apple pie and and and. furthermore there are excellent cafe (warm or cold and in all variations), but also breakfast is offered. the café is also a gallery for photo art and creates a very own atmosphere. I haven't seen anything like this before in Germany. the young ladies who served there were also super courtesy, quite according to American model. I can not only recommend visiting there, but recommend looking over the community here!"

"Here I had the saffron ice cream (it also apparently had rose water in it but saffron was the most noticeable flavour) and the citron+ginger. They were both amazing. I live in Sydney where people rave about Messina (IMHO overrated) but I much preferred this ice cream. The citron+ginger was more of a gelato, with the saffron ice cream being more creamy. Both were amazing and I would totally have it again next time I'm in Ddf. My sister had a chocolate milkshake which she said was great. My mother had the maracuja (passionfruit) and citron+ginger and said both were amazing. We had no complaints about the service."
