"We came here to celebrate my partner's birthday, after two failed attempts to dine here as we are not local. We were not disappointed, the food was outstanding. However, we did encounter a few issues, mostly because the menus were only on the wall. We felt uncomfortable standing in the middle of the floor, peering over the heads of other diners. I ordered rustic bread with olives, but mistakenly used the term flatbread, which confused the server. In a panic, I skipped the starters altogether. For our main meals, we were asked about sauces, which we declined, only to later realize they were included with a stir-fry base. When the food arrived, the server asked if we were sure we didn't want sides, which we also missed on the menu boards. Despite these mishaps, the meal we had was amazing, beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. We will definitely be back, and next time we will carefully read the menu for an even better dining experience."
