"Inside, the restaurant was beautifully lit with candles, creating a lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately, the heating was only marginally sufficient to combat the drafts that were quite noticeable on a chilly February evening.
I ordered a red Thai chicken curry served with special Thai rice, which featured ginger, coconut, and coriander. The chicken was marinated in an authentically spicy red curry and coconut sauce, enriched with kaffir lime leaves, fish sauce, fresh basil, and lemongrass. The dish was a delightful explosion of flavors. My wife, who enjoys fish but has a mild allergy to prawns, opted for salmon in a very satisfying Thai green curry made with homemade green curry paste, Thai ginger, kaffir lime leaves, and fish sauce, topped with fresh basil and coconut milk. It resulted in a truly exquisite blend of tastes.
We paired our meal with Cobra beer, which we particularly enjoy with spicy dishes, and concluded with coffee. The restaurant offers an impressive selection of wines and spirits, along with a good variety of starters and desserts for those interested.
