Basement - Menu

Well my experience is pretty poor! Mussels served with brown bread instead of Focaccia! No IPA ale! A measly slice of carrot a measly slice of parsnip. A 12% service charge (for what? Won’t be bothering to go there again!

Great vibe, busy but attentive staff and really good food that isn't cheap but decent value for money. We had scallops and the buffalo cauliflower, and the unlikely star of the show was the buffalo cauliflower which is a MUST. Incredibly delicious dish. Scallops were fine as well

Outstanding food, fresh, and good portions. The service was brilliant. We attended with 2 young children, one of which was initially grumpy and shouty . The head of service, I didn 't get his name, was brilliant with the children and soon had her smiling. Really recommend to anybody visiting Padstow or the local area. Definite 5 stars

this evening had a great meal and drinks (on Thursday evening) there were some customers, so had a nice ambiente. we shared the scallops that followed beautifully by the modules mariner and buttermilk hühnerburger. we shared the main and must say the burger was the star. will try to restore it home! eating was so good we forgot to make all the pictures of him who were looking forward to returning.

absolutely wonderful eating, large portions, very fresh and tasty. the setting on the harbour padstow is stunning, the staff was so friendly and accommodating. we could have been sitting there all day to watch the world. they also allow dogs in, bonus! can not recommend very enough, my wife and I had both a large pan of fresh mushes and sugared pommes and sourteigbrot, mmmmm, absolutely beautiful, want back and back

I had a good experience here! all staff were very friendly and in good moods. the service was fast and eating grated. the muddles were slightly gritty, as others have said, but very tasty yet. the garnel and mönchskurrie was absolutely on the place! very delicious! I would definitely go back. a reviewer left 1 star because he was upset that he couldn't sit outside. the tables outside do not belong to this place, they can only sit in the box or take away.

Well what can I say. We don’t eat out a lot in Padsow even though we live there but we did a last minute booking at the mussel box. We were looking at Tapas but saw ‘Reggie’s Curries’ Intrigued by the descriptions we had one of each (there was 6). They were the best curries we’ve had in a very long time and we have had a few! The flavours were to die for. Expertly put together with very tasty sources. We were served by Nicole who was exceptional. Very professional and tentative. Well done mussel box. We will be back very soon.

We both fancied mussels for supper so decided to try here. Upon walking in we were met with a delicious smell of Indian cuisine. When then we were seated next to a couple who were just finishing their curries so we decided to change tact and go Indian. Delicious. Lovely spice, gentle warmth, crisp onion bhaji, soft naan and we also had a small Indian spiced mussel dish which were excellent. I'm sorry not to get the name of the young lady who served us but she was an utter delight and a real credit to your business. Well done everyone!

I booked this venue being a Padstow resident and to showcase my local restaurants to my visiting family, who was celebrating her birthday. I was surprised that the menu was limited and asked if there was any grilled fish to be told there wasn’t. We had to wait a long time to be served even though there were only 4 other guests as well as us. We ordered and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and if the waiting staff has described the menu, it would have been more encouraging for our choices. We had to ask for wine refills and was not asked if food was ok. We ordered dessert and afterwards said we’d have coffee but the staff said the coffee machine had been switched off. It w...
