"Run by the Santoni brothers, authentic Corsicans, the restaurant lives up to its reputation. The warm and pleasant setting (noble wood and bamboo , the two wood fires, the central view of the kitchen and a fairly large room give a nice balance to the entire restaurant. Delicious, Mediterranean cuisine, Italian-inspired, quality products at reasonable prices and excellent value for money for the place, in the middle of August. Taste the wood-fired pizzas, including the magnificent Calzone and the tasty classic pizzas, we saw a huge prime rib being beautifully carved before being served, which really made you want to put the cutlery back (while we were at the desserts! . A very well prepared steak tartare with very successful homemade fries (with a knife? , a steak with exceptional tenderness and perfectly controlled cooking, breathing the wood fire, juicy as can be desired. The desserts are of the same ilk, try the exquisite profiteroles: homemade choux but vanilla ice cream provided by an ice cream parlor, whose work is also measured in the cuts available by the scoop... Excellent vanilla, very good hazelnut, raspberry and lemon very successful . The service is efficient and friendly, even if they are sometimes overwhelmed and the dinner drags a little (we are in the middle of August and the restaurant is full every evening . But they look out for you and are honest! The addition is very correct. We ate at lunchtime in a really bad restaurant for the same price, without dessert! We might as well tell you that we were all happy to find Ondella and its quality cuisine that same evening! The restaurant is frequented by many locals, which is always a good sign. It appeals to all audiences: young people, couples and families. Note for the latter, a pizza-drink-a scoop of ice cream children's menu for €10, which is very reasonable (the pizza being about half of an adult pizza . We'll come back! Remember to book during the red period."

"I had the beef spicy noodles. In my mind I thought- this place concentrates on Japanese food, surely it would be fresh and yummy I WAS WRONG. My dish consisted of frozen mushy peas, pot noodles, gravy, fatty beef and was swimming in onion. Absolutely...disgusting. The prawn tempura was gloopy and over battered. The chicken tempura was basically chicken nuggets stuck on a plate with sticky rice. DO NOT HAVE THE COCKTAILS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. I tried a strawberry daiquiri. It was sour, tart and had no ice, it was all liquid. I thought oh well, maybe it was a one off and I'll try a mojito instead I was wrong, once again. The mojito had lemons in. Who has a lemon mojito? Nobody. It was once again sour, with no fizz or sparkle. The ice had virtually melted as if it was brewing in the sun all day. May I also mention it was very small for the price we paid- Perhaps they use the salt water from the harbour to make their cocktails? Would not surprise me. We waited over minutes for drinks alone, minutes for a menu to be placed on the table. I feel bad for our waiter writing this as he was lovely- but it doesn't make up for slow service. We will not be visiting again for the listed reasons. I conclude this review by warning trip advisor members that if they consider eating here please be aware all items on the menu (apart from the pizza) are prepared in the kitchen- which is disgusting placed next to the toilet. We watched the fresh food be carried from the kitchen, passed the toilets along one main hallway. Not nice."
