"Congratulations to La Voile restaurant in Domaine La Réserve in Ramatuelle! We were impressed by the exceptional experience we experienced at La Voile restaurant. As soon as we arrived, the warm welcome made us comfortable to enjoy a memorable evening. This restaurant, with its 2 stars, undoubtedly rivals many 3-star establishments. The culinary quality, the beauty of the setting and the dishes, as well as the professionalism of the staff, have reached unmatched peaks. I can't help but wonder how stars are assigned, because star establishments with 2 or 3 stars seem far from competing with this rare pearl. We were a group of 4 friends and our opinion is unanimous: we had never seen or lived such an experience. And yet, we regularly visit 2 to 3 starred restaurants each month. "Si j'ai mis la meilleure note c'est pour que ce commentaire soit lu :-) pardon...Oui j'adore la plage c'est la seule qui a su rester authentique. Pour la plage 20/20 sans hésiter.Mais le resto !!!! AU SECOURS !Sous prétexte d'authenticité la aussi, on vous propose une botte de radis à 19€. S'ils étaient bons pourquoi pas mais les fanes étaient pour le coup fanées et les radis tellement piquants que presque immangeables.Ensuite une escalope de veau milanaise (33€ ça va) digne d'une cantine scolaire (panure détrempée, pâtes Trop cuites) ; et un filet de bœuf (44€) même pas bon (nerveux faut le faire)Service digne d'une mauvaise brasserie parisienne (vous savez à peine aimable, tenue pas très soignée et on vous fait comprendre que c'est comme ça)Le pire : je demande du beurre salé (pour les radis à 19€ :-). Réponse : ""on a pas de beurre salé juste du beurre normal, tenez j'en avais 3 dans la poche". Ça parait à peine vraisemblable et pourtant ! Heureusement ce sont quand même des beurres individuels sous papier...Ce n'est bien sûr pas le problème des prix que l'on connaît avant d'y aller, mais s'il vous plaît changer de chef !!!!Allez déjeuner au Moorea !!!! C'est excellent !!!! Eux aussi servent 2 ou 300 couverts en même temps mais le service est très pro (le patron y veille) et la carte excellente !!!!! Une entrecôte d'une qualité parfaite par exemple.Alors la plage OUI le resto NON!!!!!"

"We went for our annual visit to Cap 21 yesterday on a gloriously sunny day with the blue sea rippling in front of us. To sit in the shade with lovely Provence rose and white wine is a treat. Service as always was excellent and Cap 21 has never failed to deliver for us in terms of a true St. Tropez beach experience. Our group ordered a wide range of food and all of it was delicious. Two plates of the wonderful sautéed 'encornet ' (squid) for the table to share are a must even though it is extravagant with everything else that was to follow but it is one of the highlights of eating at Cap 21. I started with a Salad Nicoise with fresh tuna that was excellent and I followed this with the same main course I have been having for over 10 years, the Gambas Persillade three huge perfectly cooked gambas in their shells but so meaty they are like mini lobsters, accompanied by French fries heaven! Luckily we are visiting again later in the week when for me, it is an action replay. My wife ordered the filet steak with peppercorn sauce and loved it and looking around the table, I wouldn 't have gone wrong with any of the choices. After lunch, my friends went on their sun loungers next to the sea but for me, remaining at my seat at the table in the shade, with a glass or three of rose watching the world go by is a little taste of paradise. Cap 21 is special!!"

"Nous avons déjeuné en famille dans ce tres agréable restaurant à Bonne Terrasse. L'accueil est tres sympathique (on peut même venir vous chercher en bateau si vous mouillez dans la baie) et la vue sur la petite plage et la mer sont uniques. On y déguste bien sûr la fameuse bouillabaisse ou des poissons grillés .. mais encore cette fois nous avons opté pour les gambas à la plancha qui sont tout à fait délicieuses avec leurs accompagnements de riz, ratatouille etc. On se régale ici au frais avec une vue superbe. Tres bons desserts. Le prix est certes un peu élevé mais largement justifié par la qualité du service et La fraîcheur impeccable des produits."

"On the 1st of August 2019 we visited Nikki Beach with my friend. Initially we liked what we saw, but the waiter was from the beginning expecting us to spend much more. And yes, we were not going to spend much. So we ordered a...bottle of water and were relaxing on the bed not far away from the pool. Then we asked for Aperol Spritz and some chicken meal with french fries, after which we went to the sea. When we came back the Aperol had already been served, and I have no idea how long it had been standing on our table before we came. Then the chicken arrived with no fries but I said twice about the side dish. They changed rice to potatoes, but I meant something completely different, and nobody did what I asked for. I decided not to complain since the chicken was tasty. During our stay one of the waiters took our umbrella without a notice, so we had to ask ours to bring it back, and he did with visible unhappiness on his face. During serving the table the waiter took my slippers and threw them aside in a rude way without asking the permission to touch my property (even if it 's just slippers). But what made me really disappointed was that he made some very strange jokes about Russia, Moscow, rich Russians and COC*INE sorry, I don 't see any reason to joke like that and I find it extremely inappropriate even to say that word out loud in any presence of the people like Nikki Beach or any other place. Such stereotypes damage the international spirit of the place and show the limited culture of people who think it 's funny. Finally we went to the bill with the price 234 Euro. Everywhere in the menus it 's written that the prices include service and taxes/charges. The waiter was asking for something for the service and started to complain that it 's never included. I said that it 's written in the menu and he didn 't admit I was right, instead of which he said the service was sh*t? . The price was 234 Euro, so I told him to add 15 Euro just to stop his begging. He was very unhappy and added 16 Euro making the bill 250 Euro. So he took 1 Euro more than I allowed and said you decide how much to give and I can only say thank you with a very unhappy face. I 've never seen in any restaurant in my life in more than 35 countries that the waiter decides for me how much money he 's going to take from me for the service . So here is my total: very low level of service, rude inappropriate jokes, untimely bringing of the dishes, begging for money, deciding for the customer how much money to take for the service ADDITIONALLY to the included in the price a disrespect, in a word. I 'm not sure that I 'm going either to visit the place again or to recommend it to my friends. The chicken was tasty here I have no complaints."

"Our friends were there last year and loved the place. Back then, the owner was present and it was a very nice atmosphere.This year, the experience was totally different: the waitress was a young lady who was extremely impolite.We were there with 4 adults and 3 children, food was ok, but the service was terrible:2 starters came before any drinks or water,we had to go inside to ask for forks and glasses,the bottle of wine was just placed on the table without any comment, when we asked the waitress if she could pour the wine, she just said, we could do it ourselves as they do it "comme à la maison" (well, I don't pay 30€ for a bottle of wine at home...)They didn't have any dishes for kids, but offered to do the penne arrabiata without pepper, which was fine for us. The portions for the kids were very small though (my 8 year old was still hungry) and they asked 15€ for one small kids plate of pasta- the same price as for the adults bigger portion!! And the worst part is, when we kindly asked, if there is maybe a mistake, the waitress reacted very unfriendly and rude!!And a check, written by hand and cash only- that says it all!"

"During a short family visit to Ramatuelle we stopped at L'Estable for a light lunch. The restaurant had got a few tables along the street which were already full. But the space inside was beautiful and our table very comfortable. I had a great salad with fresh goat cheese and strawberries and also the Dos de cabillaud was excellent. Great choice of delicious ice-creams. Last but not least the extremely gentleness of Luca, the young gentleman who served us. I recommend this restaurant and its great service!"

"My partner and I were exploring Ramatuelle on Saturday evening and decided to stop for dinner at Le Cigalon as we wanted to eat 'local' so the Italian restaurant just didn't appeal to us. The restaurant has apparently been under new family management since last year and the family appear to have taken on quite a task in turning around the rather poor reputation left by previous owner. Our restaurant choice for the evening turned out to be a very wise choice. Not only is the location pretty fab - sitting under-cover in the Place de l'Ormeau, but the food was delicious (a very nice pear tart and a moulleux au chocolate cooked by the mother of our waiter was the perfect finish a great evening), the pichet of very local rosé was a treat and the service was relaxed, polite and very friendly. If you're in the area, I heartily recommend a visit! Simple cuisine at its best."

"the framework is the only thing that deserves a good rating. Service not worthy of a gourmet restaurant: not everyone speaks (no understands!) English; the fish served in the last minute plate doesn't have the same presentation for everyone (I had a server with experience that brought me a well-presented plate, one of my friends a presentation worse than that of the school canteen!.) With regard to taste, the observation is desolating. a no-original card, a tuna fade in entry or a greedy gaspacho so spicy not to succeed in completing it. for the main dish the choice was a fade fish (metro or picard) with badly cooked eggplants (not to say raw) and a "black angus" very similar to a lower coast first price (viande left to half and low quality so obvious that we didn't make this dish).Bref, very disappointed!"

We still feel a certain hierarchy with the high society of the disrespectful people who allow to judge all this because they make a size 34 with gold on the whole body! A woman in a child's body has to believe it's not smarter than that. The food is good, the service is a little long. We tend to forget we're here. About 30 minutes for a cocktail.... I got my dish before even my cocktail. It's a shame to feel judging all this because we don't reflect the world of the night!"
