"Visited this restaurant twice whilst on our 10 day holiday in Gran Alacant. I had the small rump steak which was the best steak that I have ever had. Gave my hubby a taste of it and we had to then go back a couple of nights later so that he could have one too, although had to have the largest one of course. The staff were lovely, atmosphere great, all in all a lovely meal and service. Would absolutely recommend to everyone."

"Automáticamente se ha convertido en mi pizzeria favorita. La pizza carbonara con cebolla riquísima y el postre... Madre mia, eso si es una tarta de queso. Al menos para mí personalmente una maravilla. Una cena para 2 personas: 2 pizzas, 2 bebidas y un postre, todo por 27€. Que puedo decir, una maravilla."

"Fuimos a comer con unos amigos. Nos pedimos de aperitivo unos mejillones al vapor tremendos, un poco de pulpo con ajos tiernos, un poco de pan que hacen recien tostado con aceite y un poco de alioli y tomate. De plato principal pedimos una paella de marisco que tenía un sabor impresionante. Para finalizar unos postres, entre ellos la tarta de tres chocolates... que no tiene palabras. Repetiré sin duda muy pronto. Lo recomiendo."

"Estuvimos comiendo hace poco y la verdad que las vistas de la planta primera son muy buenas. Nos sacaron un menú con varios entrantes de pescadito y ensalada. El pescado estaba ya algo frío, como preparado de antemano. El arroz y el gazpacho muy buenos. La pega que tras el postre ya no atendieron para cafés o copas y nos tuvimos que ir."

"Llevamos mucho tiempo comiendo en el Faro. Ya hicimos un comentario hace unos años, pero es bueno recordar que siguen igual que siempre,excepcional en todos los sentidos. La calidad es muy buena y unos precios acorde con esta calidad. Para nosotros es el mejor arroz y Fideuá que puedes probar en toda la provincia,sin duda alguna , igualmente que cualquier cosa que pidas de la carta . Un 10 de nota , saldrás con una muy buena sensación."

"Very nice. We went at night, without reservation and miracle we had space since we have to reserve because they have a lot of demand. very good food, squid rich. the great professional waitress. we were on the terrace and very well. Very good price."

"Restaurante Varadero has been a very good Spanish, Spanish restaurant for more than 20 years .Lately ,however, new owner could not handle the situation properly but now they are back . Spanish food when it is at the best . Try seafood and fish but meat is also good . Do start with jamon , gambas al ajio and calamares frito . The environment is really Spanish and the view fantastic overlooking the sea .Visit the restaurant a Sunday lunch."

"Last Saturday we decided to have a good seafood dinner and what better place than Santa Pola. We started with a pair of oysters that neither were fu nor fa since they threw their stock, the water in which the product has been raised, directly responsible for its taste. the best of the dinner was undoubtedly the sepionet, a small sepia typical of alicante. a brutal taste. We continue with one of the jewels of the crown of Santa Pola, the red shrimp. very fresh and well of price although a little bit small. as a main dish we opt for the speciality of the house, lobster with eggs and chips. He was very good. Maybe too much oil on the plate and in our opinion excessively expensive, 65€. of dessert we opt for cheese cake in the oven, different and advisable. to drink we take two reeds and a godello, joaquín rebolledo, which wine thick at dinner. price per person 72€, that was raised by the main dish as otherwise it was correct."

"Fuimos a comer 2 personas, pedimos mejillones al vapor, pulpo a la gallega y un arroz meloso bogavante. Los mejillones estaban de 10, muy ricos. El pulpo muy mejorable, estaba duro e insípido. Por último el arroz estaba duro. El sabor bueno, pero sin terminar de hacer. El servicio y los postres de 10. En cuanto al ambiente, demasiado ruido… las vistas geniales pero demasiada gente en muy poco espacio. Es una pena porque hemos ido más de una vez, pero esta última fue un poco decepción :"

"Sabrosa comida tradicional y típica de la zona, como los arroces. De precio un poco más caro de lo habitual, pero merece la pena. Buen servicio. Aunque creo que deberían de mejorar la temperatura de los platos al servirlos ya que creo que algunos deberían estar más calientes."

"We went to have the appetizer a couple of reeds and a Russian salad. When we went out we saw a promo of two reeds and about 6 euros kisquillas, which would have leaked that some waiter would tell us quickly. I put a 5 for the saladilla is very rich, and the deal was very nice. also to improve would be placed on the tables when the drink is served some backpacks like the table is of a material that is immediately stained"

"Arrived intending only to stay for a drink and a snack, but ended up staying! With every round of drinks you get a compliment bowl of around 8 small prawns, these were delicious! We also ordered 12 white king prawns for 5 euros, 1 Prawn the night before was 6 euros! Again delicious. Bottled water was complimentary as well. We ordered Russian Salad, Calamari, Patatas Bravas and seafood puff pastries. The portions were generous and reasonably priced. We couldn’t not fault either! 3 Wines, 3 Lemonades, 5 dishes was €40, half the price of the night before! We had difficulty ordering a taxi home and was extremely impressed that both staff members kept trying on their mobile phones, after we had given up and planned to walk it! We eventually got a taxi, many thanks to the server!"

"Buena experiencia en cuanto a la calidad de la comida y el trato de Rafa que es un camarero excepcional. Pero bien es cierto que somos clientes desde hace 15 años y ha bajado mucho la cantidad en las raciones, un queso frito de 6€ únicamente llevaba 6 trozos, en las pizzas tienen dos tamaños y el pequeño es sumamente diminuto, la tabla de paté también se ha reducido, etc. Volveremos, porque nos encanta la cocina y la tarta de queso es única, pero aporto una crítica constructiva que espero que sirva para mejorar esas pequeñas cositas."

"We decided to try this place because my son in law is a kind of pizza connoisseur. It did not disappoint. In order to test the menu, we all tried different types I opted for the spiciest I could find. I was a little disappointed with the lack of intensity, but our waiter came to the rescue with picante oil. We had wine beer to wash down the good food. We finished off with coconut ice cream served in the coconut shell which was delicious everybody went home happy. The only slight disappointment, was that the restaurant was only less than half full but the food was good, the drinks the service were good. We will go back again because the prices are reasonable for the quality service."

"Santa Pola Vale Lounge, waterfront marina and also facing Santa Pola beach on the other side, with multitude of beach-umbrellas in summer. Had coffees there – very pleasant, looking out to sea, will come again to have meals. I have gait/walking challenges (stroke), all sightseeing has to be well-researched and not overly taxing; I wear a legbrace. Carparking spots closeby."

"disappointment, this is how I would describe my experience in this site. the food began very well, with a salad of quality and exquisite zamburiñas. From there it was worse, serving one of the worst octopuses I have eaten (18,50€ nothing less,) swamp and no drip. as a main dish was asked for a bogavante with ajetes, a dish that costs 25€ and in which they only serve half a bogavante (yes, half) and nothing of the other world. a bit embarrassing, the truth. as to the service nothing to object and the place is beautiful and with a view of the beautiful port."

"He ido muchas veces a desayunar y siempre fueron buenos desayunos. E incluso he pedido pizzas y hemos almorzando y a estado muy bien. La semana Pasada hemos pedido dos desayunos y mi pareja no ha querido tostada. Sorpresa, el desayuno sin tostada cuesta más que con tostada. He preguntado a la camarera y dice que es así, como las lentejas. Jajajaja, me ha causado gracia! Menos mal que existe google para dar luz a estas pequeñeces que uno no quiere guardarse para si!"

"Visitando Santa Pola decidimos cenar en este restaurante en su terraza junto al paseo. Decir que la carta es de platos elaborados, con muchas opciones y todas muy ricas. Pedimos unos chopitos, ensalada de tomate con encurtidos y salazones, y también Tacos de carne deshilachada con salsa kimchee. De postre una torrija con helado de mantecado. Todo, especialmente la torrija, estuvo muy muy rico. Mejor, la torrija, los chopitos, los tacos y por último la ensalada de tomate. Con tintos de verano hechos por ellos muy ricos, agua y demás 60€. Estupenda relación calidad precio. Camareros rápidos, atentos y profesionales. Para repetir sin duda!!"

"We have been eating with friends, we have decanted by the mint of 25, which contenia: bread with tomato and alioli, chipirones, fished, red shrimp or chisel, as main dish we have chosen rice to band and black and to finish the dessert and caf. I must comment that the appetizer was fine, the red shrimp is not fresh (normal in a mint but was acceptable but for our deception, a big disappointment. the normal dessert. the truth that waited for me more in the rice for the comments that I had read but in Santa pola there is much better and at the same price."
