"From the street Sirena looks like any small restaurant on a tourist street. Inside we found people, who their job seriously and with great enthusiasm. We saw on the street display counter seafood and mushrooms, and the host, who wasn`t too eager to get us in. Still, the quality of the ingrediences convinced us, and we did not regret. We chose giant prawns, mushrooms, and asked the waiter to prepare a dinner from them, and add maybe a third course if necessary. He gave a wine recommendation, and we had a wonderful, perfect dinner without reading through long foreign language menus, that give very little real help. Seafood grilled to perfection, mushrooms fried in olive oil with small slices of bread. Third course a tuna fish tartar with small tomatoes and delicious dressing. White wine from Ischia completed the dinner. The dessert- part on the menu is very limited, but the host told ”we’ll do something else that suits better to our meny”. We got a home made tasty, creamy digestive, superb. Friendly service, delicius food, lovely ischian atmosphere, only under 90 €. All reasons to come again. Thanks, Paolo and the team."
