"Wir liessen uns von den grossen Lettern RISTORANTE PIZZERIA von gegenüber der Strasse anlocken. Eigentlich suchten wir in dieser CoronaZeit nach einer weniger stark frequentierter Restauration, und wurden hier fündig. Die Pizza-Basispreise sind hier z.B. mit Fr. 14.90 sehr günstig angesetzt. Dazu kann man jedoch, gegen Aufpreis natürlich, beliebige übliche Zutaten dazu wählen. Wir fanden das eine gute Idee, denn es gibt ja auch den „kleinen Hunger“ bzw. bescheidenere Budget‘s. „100g“ nennt sich dieses italienische Restaurant, und man spürt hier schon etwas Italianità, was sonst doch in mancher Pizzeria fehlt. Gleiches vermittelt auch die reichhaltige Speisekarte, die man sich auch online ansehen kann. Nun aber diese Standard-Salatsauce. Mamma mia, es war schade um den Salat. Dann schon lieber diesen selber zubereiten, mit ital. Qualitäts-Essig und Oel und so dürfte der kleine gem. Salat dann auch etwas mehr als Fr. 6.90 kosten. Wir taten unsere Meinung dazu kund, und denken, dass diese nicht unbeachtet bleiben wird. Wir werden es ein nächstes Mal sehen, denn die interessante Speisekarte lockt noch anderes zu testen."

"I enjoy eating a delicious meal in this restaurant, which sits on a table along a cobblestone st. gallen road in front of the weinstube to bäumli. the weather in september was perfect, the kerzentisch was a tasty bite, and the ambiente that was opposite. a relaxing experience. the server were very friendly and multilingual, ready to explain the menu points. I had the st. galler kalbsbratwurst and a homemade caramel köpfli with cream for dessert. went inside to sign the credit card slip, and saw that the dining room is cozy and also has a beautiful appearance. All this for very reasonable prices for Switzerland. They have menus in English too. They also have free parking we struggled to find the entrance. You have to go around to the back of the building starting from the west side of the block (not the east side where the restaurant is)."

"The best Japanese restaurant in town safe. The Teppanyaki prices are from 72Fr to 110Fr and all are fantastic. Rösti verbrannt und nicht gekocht, Cordon-Bleu und Gemüse waren knapp über dem Durchschnitt. Restaurant-Leiter eine Katastrophe der sich knapp selber in Brand gesetzt hat und mindesdens 3× über meinen Stuhl (Rücken) getorkelt ist. Amüsant war es definitiv nicht mehr. Unfortunately, value for money is not right here. Wine advice and dessert great. Main course a huge disappointment. Rosti burned and undercooked, cordon bleu and veggies were just above average. "Restaurant Neubad is a very well known address among locals, therefore table booking strongly recommended. It has an interesting concept, as there is no split between starters and main courses. Indeed, all dishes have the same size, which enables multiple tasty combinations. The friendly and efficient team recommends to try 3 dishes, which leaves some room for a dessert. As first dish I chose the grilled octopus delicious and perfectly prepared. The second dish sounded much more unusual: veal tongue carpaccio! Do not be put off by the name, it actually tastes very good. As third dish I enjoyed the grilled zander, the fish was perfectly cooked. As dessert I chose the decadent vanilla mousse, coated with a strawberry jelly, and served with a chocolate sorbet. As usual, prices in Switzerland are expensive and this restaurant is no exception. However, given the very good food and friendly service, I will gladly come back."
