"Last night, on my son's 21st birthday, we dined at a restaurant where the staff graciously accommodated a couple who had not made a reservation. Luckily, we had made a reservation as recommended on the website. Despite the rude behavior of the unbooked couple, the staff remained polite and professional. We were seated promptly and found the staff to be nice and friendly. Our meals were served promptly and we found the prices to be very reasonable. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience."

"Greeted by a row of red dustbins mostly overflowing. Pile of rubbish dumped next to the bins including lampshade and bar tables Dead hanging baskets as you enter the building Overflowing ashtrays on the tables outside full of water to boot(Lovely...aroma) Cigarette ends and various rubbish on the floor surrounding the tables. This do not look recent) Plug sockets loose on the wall towards the toilets at the top end of the bar approximately where the old bar went across by the outdoor hatch. (For those who know! Damp patch on the ceiling again roughly in the same space A general appearance of scruffyness and lack of idea and knowhow. Semi cold mediocre processed food on cold plates jazzed up with American terminology on the menu. Basically FarmFoods for the uninitiated. Try try try harder Jimmy. I go to country pubs if I want a decent meal and you immediately notice the difference, its so easy to see . CAN I RECOMMEND THE RED LION AT HOPWAS for a pleasant, locally sourced FRESH meal anytime of day. Disgusting pub. Disgusting appearance"

"First of all I would give a 0 stars if I could. I feel like I have just eat part of a cat . Totally inedible absolutely rank disgusting and filth I really wish I had read the reviews before ordering from here. This is possibly not just the worst Chinese I have ever attempted to eat but actually the worst meal I have ever Eaton. Absolutely shocking of a place it needs shutting down. Tried to call them and I’m explaining how poor the food was and all they could say was your food is out for delivery yeeeee’ erm no love the food is in my kitchen bin. Absolutely filthy I strongly avoid and recommend no body eat here I wouldn’t even feed this food to a homeless person it would just be bang out of order to do so. "I walked in, there were 3 people getting orders ready for the delivery guy, not one person said hello (there were 6 in total in the shop) Eventually I got served, I arrived back at my house and ate the Sausage in batter and chips, the chips were greasy, the smaller chips were to hard to eat, the battered sausage was hard as if it had been there for some time and reheated....I normally use George's on the Glascote road, because of how good they are you have to wait in a queue which shows how good they are, I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the Caledonian was empty other than the 6 staff and delivery driver, I can see why it was empty..."

"after a really hard week at work I was tired to cook, ordered a boneless dip-proof, once opened to house ended with a bucket bone in huhn (see photo) I order boneless out of a reason that bone me out flew out, and I. may not snap her, some people do not, so basically, what I always do with after numerous emails and try to keep from paula mackenzie I was anna in customer service given to me the number of filials and advised, I call them? that should be customer care? should almost food eat bad? should fast eating bad customer service? in a world of review pages and how people should listen when something goes wrong no one cares about kfc! I will continue to try to get someone to solve my problem, try to get someone from kfc to take care of the customers how I feel that kfc made a quick buck out of me! the whole incident is also discouraged"

"Firstly I'd like to say this is not a negative review of the food as it's always delicious and today's experience will not put us off but hopefully management will see this and maybe make some changes. We arrived later than normal today 3:20pm. But we only wanted coffee and a piece of cake so knew we'd still be in time as it's open till 5pm. My husband suggested I went and got a table while he waited to collect the coffee's as I am disabled.(visible by my walking stick) I went to an area near the double doors into the plants, a young lady said she was sorry but the area was closed for cleaning. So walked down to the bottom where you can look out at the golf and climbing but all the tables had reserved on them. A young man who worked there walked past so I asked if I could sit there as I'd already been told we couldn't sit at the top end but he said no the area had been cleaned for tomorrow. I did say it's silly as it's not closed yet and 3 lady's were mopping in front of customers still eating and I just needed somewhere we could sit and he suggested an area next to the dog friendly seats which is rather not or outside!!! We went outside and realised we should have complained more as it was cold and very blowy but we didn't feel welcome to sit inside. I work in a deli so I know how manic the last hour is. But we always make sure customers who arrive late receive the same experience, is this something that could be looked at? I'll leave it with you."

"We tried Four Counties Spice for the first time and were excited based on the positive reviews. However, we were very disappointed. When ordering over the phone, they were unaware of the usual dips that come with popadoms. Unlike other Indian restaurants we have been to, the meal only included thickly chopped onions and a flavorless, watery yogurt dip. The onion bhajis were dry and inedible, and the prawn on puree lacked flavor. The chicken tikka balti and chicken tikka biryani were both bland and unappetizing. We always order the same dishes when trying a new Indian restaurant, but due to this bad experience, we will not be ordering from Four Counties Spice again."

"We were in the area and decided to give this restaurant a try. The restaurant was not too crowded. We were seated promptly and ordered drinks and food. I tried the "duo romana" which is a half and half pizza. I chose the "padana" for one half and the "sloppy giuseppe" for the other half, both of which were delicious and highly recommended. For dessert, we shared the tiramisu which was also very good. We also enjoyed a coffee. The restaurant appeared clean, the server was friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. The only downside was that the food took a bit longer to arrive, even though the restaurant was not very busy. Parking can be a challenge near the building, but there is additional parking across the street. I would definitely recommend checking out this restaurant."

"There’s a specific type of take away pizza we love, we had it at a local years ago in streetly. But after using nearly everyone around my area in tamworth we were always left a bit disappointed. So went on just eat and tried this place. Phenomenal, first time the chicken bites were a tad cold but it happens. The pizza is beautiful think we’ve had it 4 Saturdays in a row and plan to keep doing it. Their pizza and fries are number 1 by a long way and as a sad brag I have tried a good 90% of the competition. Great food, delivery could be a tad quicker but still 5/5"

"Been going here for a few years, meals usually good. Not sure what happened, but on Wednesday we went for a meal around 7pm,pub was quiet, not many in. Ordered mixed grill and a gammon meal. Peas were dried out, steak inedible, too chewy, each bite needed ten minutes to chew each bite… so left the rest of it. The sausage seemed overcooked and was very hard, leftover from yesterday? Tiny pineapple ring, did not know they came that small. The gammon on the gammon meal was very thin too. The chips were the only thing that seemed well cooked. Nobody came during meal and asked if eberything was ok, and it took a long while for anybody to collect the plates, and when they did, they did not ask if we enjoyed it or not, maybe they could tell from our expressions? Both of us had the feeling we would not come back there for a meal again, at least for a long while."

"We visited for a family meal on bank holiday. We were greeted tv a female member of staff who said they could not accept ‘walk ins’ and we had to book on line. Despite the restraints not being very empty. She told us we could stand outside and book on like and come back. We stood in the carpark (with 2 toddlers) and booked a table on line and walked back in. We showed to our table and told there was 45 min wait for food which we kindly agreed to wait. We watched the staff chatted and pointing to us. Then someone came back over and said the wait for food was now 60 mins. This was shortly followed by being told that the kitchen was actually closing. We were told that they closed the on line booking system and would not accept our booking!! Despite their staff telling us to book a table outside and we would be served. We were gobsmacked. The staff clearly did not want to service us. I’m not sure if they wanted to close early, but the whole thing was highly unprofessional and rude. We had 2 children under the age of 4. We have contacted trading standards and reported the venue. The food looked really rubbish anyway. Luckily we found another pub which was super friendly and served lovely home cooked food. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS VENUE"

"I use the online order system regularly as it's user friendly and you get 10% off your entire order. Delivery usually takes around 30 to 40 minutes and the food arrives hot and well packaged. I've always found the food to be tasty and plentiful with the usual free popadoms, onion salad, mint dip and onion bhajis. The only slight gripe is that the rice always seems to be quite watery and you usually have a pool of water around the rice on your plate. As far as Indian takeaways go you won't go far wrong using this place."

"beautiful place to visit really enjoyed Sunday lunch. . eating was super-tad expensive - so would not go every week - but for a special would definitely return. was a little warm- couldn't see any windows open. also very busy with children, but expect that this cannot be helped on a Sunday meal. maybe a few less tables to give more room or maybe have to try an evening. thanks for a great afternoon."
