"Had an 18th birthday meal of a table of 20. Was a little hectic when arrived as all the big tables arrived at once and a party hadn't left when we arrived but Charlie was quick to sort it all. The service was terrific. Charlie was quick to sort any queries or problems that we had very polite. Couldn't thank Charlie enough for making it such a plesant place for us to celebrate my nieces 18th. The waitresses also done a terrific job of serving us to. We had a wonderful family meal with our 2-year-old and 4-year-old grandchildren. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Lovely experience! Served by Shelby each morning, amazing service. "Wow, what an amazing place for gluten-free food! This fish and chip shop is incredible, with exceptional customer service. My friend and I took our children to Drayton Manor last Saturday, and ended up staying later than planned. On our way home, we needed to find something to eat for both the kids and us, but since we are both gluten-free (coeliac), we knew it would be a challenge. I decided to search before leaving the park and found Oceans in Tamworth. It was only 8 minutes away and on the way to Nottingham, so we decided to give it a try. Despite getting a bit lost, we eventually found Oceans in a small shopping area and parked our car. When I asked if they still made gluten-free food, I was surprised by the owner's enthusiastic response. He was incredibly helpful and showed us their wide range of gluten-free options, as they had been making gluten-free food for 18 years. He provided me with a menu that included not only fish and chips, but also other delicious items like gravy, onion rings, lemon pepper fish, etc. He also showed me how they keep all gluten-free ingredients separate and clearly marked in the kitchen. While waiting for our order to be freshly cooked, he even gave us a sample of chips and gravy to try. The food was incredibly delicious, and it was the first time I had enjoyed fish and chips in 10 years! He also treated us to a taste of the delicious lemon pepper cod. As coeliacs, my friend and I also received a free bottle of gluten-free chip vinegar. I ordered a large cod and chips with gravy (which was so good that I wished I had just ordered that instead), and got a child's portion for my son."

"Terrible fish and chip shop. I understand the cost of living, but charging more money for less food is not acceptable. I ordered a large mixed meat and chips, but requested only donner meat and tikka, a sausage, and curry sauce. Unfortunately, the chips were extremely dry with no salt or vinegar. The donner meat was very thin, the tikka was bland, and the sausage was tasteless. The curry sauce, which cost £1.95, was disappointingly small. Despite spending £15 including delivery (so around £12 for the actual food), I could have gotten more value for my money at other fish and chip shops. After seeing another negative review from a month ago, I am dreading the effects of my meal tonight. This was my first and last time trying this place."

"Totally forgot to take pictures of the food we had brought because it was that good we ate it so quick !!! I was diagnosed coeliac last August and have been struggling with the GF diet, most of the foods I 've tried aren 't nice at all. Someone told me about Belgrave Chip Shop last week and having a full size GF menu, so I had to try it!! Well, we wasn 't disappointed at all when I say we, its because my husband who can eat anything off the menu, was tucking into my GF fish bites and GF chips. They were that good, he said he would have them over the normal menu We live the other side of Tamworth to Belgrave but will definitely, 100%, be making the trip when we fancy a 'chippy tea '. Thank you so much for making the effort to do GF, it makes the world of difference to people like me, x I 'll be sure to post this on the GF support pages I 'm following too, along with a picture of your menu"

"During our journey on a narrowboat through Fazeley Junction, we decided to get some takeaway from Kudos. We were quite satisfied with the chicken tikka balti we ordered - it was reasonably priced, delicious, and had generous portions of meat. The garlic naan, while not as strong in garlic flavor as other places, was still enjoyable. In comparison to a previous takeaway we had from a nearby restaurant, Kudos was much better in value and taste. We will definitely opt for Kudos for our next curry when we are in the area."
