"An absolute shambles of an establishment!!!!No communication, no support, call almost 4 weeks before the wedding to tell us we can't use the accommodation for our wedding. Stay in the mill for the whole day, our guests separated from the main hotel by a sheet, later cover by fake ivy, no photographs to be taken outdoors.We had two days to change the venue of our wedding before we lost everything booked for that day.Any help or support? No, not even a refund of the monies we had paid!!! Withheld our money until 4 days before our wedding!! I had to call, message daily, no one would reply. Had to threaten legal proceeding to get our money back. The lady who altered my dress had 4 other ladies in the same predicament, 1 recieved a refund because she contacted the local media. Our guests have still not been informed of the cancellation of their rooms, 4 weeks after the wedding!!!!! Avoid at all costs!!!!The place should be shut down!!!"

"McDonald's restaurants offer good regular menu items that are quite tasty, but the fries are often served cold and limp without any crispiness. I understand that they may not always be served immediately, causing them to lose their heat, but a quick re-dip in hot oil every 10 minutes would help bring back their freshness. My main issue with many McDonald's restaurants is their traffic management. Due to their popularity, especially on weekends, long lines of cars can often block nearby main roads or access to other shops, particularly in retail parks. I believe McDonald's should have staff monitor the traffic and prevent it from blocking entrances and roads to other areas."

"I arrived just five minutes before closing time and asked if we could still place an order. The staff was incredibly friendly and eager to assist us, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. "Our first time here and pleasantly surprised. The food was very good and the price was reasonable. A good variety of beer and lager on tap. The waitresses were friendly and knowledgeable of the things on offer. We had a lovely evening and there was a quiz on that night to entertain if you wanted to join in. Parking: The car park is fairly large and seems to have enough spaces for the size of establishment. Price per person: £20–30"

"My partner and I walked in, it was a very quiet night. Georgina, Jordan and Joel (the manager, and 2 of the waiting staff) saw myself and my partner stood at the door not one of them came over or gave any sign to indicate that they would be over soon. After we had been seated, took Joel a good 5 minutes to ask us what drinks we’d like, at which point we were also ready to order our starter and mains too. Our drinks too that long to come, i had actually forgotten for a second that we even order any about 2 minutes later our starter followed. In my opinion our drinks should not have taken so long to arrive, that our starter also arrived. We had a sharing portion of Potato Skins, they were not the best. Edible but not great. Our mains weren’t much better, i ordered the Fridays Glazed Burger, and my partner had the Chicken Quesadillas, my partner asked for a takeaways box so he could take home what he had not eaten, which the waiter told us that there were none, meaning we had to leave half a meal behind to be wasted. We also did not get a check back on the starter or the mains. This was disappointing. Bill came to £70 which i don’t think was worth it. Expensive prices but poor service and average food."

"I visited KFC two weeks ago and had a shock when I opened my food up as half of it was missing. I took it back and the manager was very helpful but it made me feel as if I didn't not trust the staff. I have added two pictures to show you what I got. I ordered a rice box and paid extra for a piece of chicken. I got the extra chicken and salad but that was it. No rice and standard chicken in the box. They replaced it with the wright amount as you can see. It was a good job I did check as I could have gone home and then found out that my food was missing. "A local pub for local people... This is our local, and we visit approximately monthly. The owners are nice, very friendly, do a good Sunday lunch. The pub is dog friendly, has a dart board and is home to the local croquet league. The owners are on holiday this week, and the experience was far from edifying. A large group who would have been encouraged to slow down by the owners made our quiet pint impossible. Instead we were regaled by a loud and boorish subsection of their clientele on how many followers they had on various forms of social media, subjected to an odd form of knocky door neighbour involving banging on the windows, and then insulted as we left. The conviction of this group that that 's going to end up on Google reviews has become self fulfilling because they said that, and don 't worry, we 're regulars they 're foreigners , whilst we were in earshot. Well done. You 've made a pub an unwelcome place for occasional drinkers we hope you 're putting enough behind the bar to cover the loss of other custom."

"The food at this restaurant was mediocre at best. Many dishes were overcooked and rubbery, with some appearing to be reheated. The salad was starting to go soggy and tasted off, while the noodles were both hard and burnt. Surprisingly, even the watermelon was dry, which is something I have never experienced before. Overall, it was quite disappointing, especially since we came for my daughter's birthday expecting a wide variety of choices but ended up with limited options. The price we paid did not match the quality of the food we received. I would not recommend this place."

"The food was very tasty with a good selection, brilliant salad bar to compliment the mains. Deserts were also plentiful with fresh waffles and pancakes being made. The resturant is in a good spot overlooking the Southwater lake and convenient for the park to work it off in afterwards (for adults and children . My only negative is that it wasn't as clean as it could have been. Crockery and cutlery not washed well so had to root for a suitable plate to use."
