"This restaurant sets the benchmark for value for money. It is a clean, well presented restaurant with a fantastic view over the Marina and sea. We arrived as a party of two and were immediately shown to a table for four with a great view. No hassle about 'oh! that is a table reserved for four '. The food was great, service was great and I cannot remember going to a restaurant that provided better value for money. We went for lunch. Fantastic! Four courses, plus a large glass of wine each, and sparkling water, and hot bread rolls, and olives. I thought there was a mistake when the bill arrived as we had also had a bottle of decent white wine in a chilled iced bucket at the table. There was no mistake 42euros 50. Unbelievable. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. It makes almost anywhere else I go look expensive!"

"Hem anat una colla de 9 i ens han atès súper bé! Millor reservar per assegurar lloc. Fan un menú amb un entrant del dia, amanida i el plat estrella: LA PAELLA. Postres inclosos també. Hem provat dues paelles: la marinera i la mixta. Hi han més tipus de paelles. Les dues que hem provat eren moolt bones! Els hi poso un 9. El 10 seria si el local tingués unes millors vistes i les cadires fossin una mica més còmodes. Personal encantador! Hi torno segur!"

"Decided to venture into Torroella today as we couldn’t get parked where we wanted to eat I L’Estartit, walked round the town and decided to try out this place. As it was warm we ventured inside, we were given a warm welcome and immediately seated with our menus. Plenty of options to choose from, tapas, salads and burgers, all very reasonably priced and competitive for the area, we opted for a couple of burgers and 3 of the tapas between 4 of us. The food was great, plentiful and the burgers were some of the best I have tasted, extremely satisfying. Total price for the 5 items, 4 cold drinks, 2 coffees and 3 ice cream pots to finish (delicious) was €56, what a bargain !!! Service was very efficient and friendly too, will definitely return in the future, possibly even before the end of this holiday !"

"My parents and my husband and I came to this area for a wedding. We needed to find a place for dinner these night after the wedding. Both couples started with tuna tataki which was delicious so fresh. For dinner, I had the octopus which was also delicious. My husband had the lamb which was phenomenal! My mother had the lobster soup with cod which was good and my father had the bacalau with prawns, etc. It was also very good. We finished with the Catalan Cream and our was great! We're had a slight mixup with our starters but it was resolved right away. All good portion sizes and pricing was pretty reasonable. Service was amazing!! We sat outside after a thunder storm and the temperature was perfect there. Went inside top have a look and it looked really nice."

"It took us to find a restaurant where you can eat a little late (2:30-3 in the afternoon) as most restaurants here near the early cuisine. But we are delighted! food made with care, dedication, passion, desire to offer quality at good price, that not all come to combine these two elements well in this small city. We were a group of 7 and have asked to share croquettes, squids and anchovies. and then second a cod of rice and sea and mountain! All delicious! and definitely the best of the house are desserts and the closing that deserves to be pointed with 5 stars. home desserts that we try: chocolate cake, tiramisú and creamy cheese cake! and service 10!"

"A bottle of housewine for only 7 euro? Besides that the garden setting and the friendly waiter and waitress made this lovely meal a nice evening. Grilled sardines were good. Entrecote huge, but with nothing green at the side. It all came quickly..maybe a bit too quickly. All in all.. a nice evening!"

"We have come to eat a holy Friday and still being the full restaurant has treated us super fast and with a very nice and close deal. We've ordered an al'ast chicken and it's one of the best we've ever had, a good quality chicken and very well done, it was very juicy and crunchy at the same time. With respect to dessert we have ordered cheesecake and has surprised us pleasantly as it was 100% homemade and is very good. We will repeat for sure, as we have seen that they make pizzas in wood oven asique we will come one night to try them, we have seen them and they look good, we will tell you."

"We have always loved this restaurant, the food is fabulous. We have been going for years. The food is still fabulous but the service is not. Tonight we arrived at 21.05, the restaurant says it is open until 22.30 but the young waiters did not appreciate it. They were surly and virtually threw our food on the table. All they wanted to do was check their phones. After eating (and feeling we shouldn't be there) we went to speak to the guy at the bar who has been there for a long time, who said he spoke a little English, and we tried to ask him what the problem was. Unfortunately he wasn't interested which was such a shame. We will never go back."

"Having passed this restaurant for the past few days end route to the beach and having had poor experiences with food whilst eating out we decided, based on reviews and look of the establishment, we decided to try for evening meal. We hadn’t booked but on arrival were given a warm welcome an assigned the last available table (I would suggest you book and would do in future). The staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive but not intrusive great hosting. The food served was of excellent quality from starters through to dessert. As a group we had shrimp croquets which were tasty, melt in the mouth, batons with dip which was full of flavour king prawn again tasty. All starters were served and you could see that whoever prepared the food did so with care and love. Mains were ribs which were melt in the mouth and fell off the bone with tasty herb potatoes, steak and chips again great quality and cooked to perfection three of us opted for mussels they were fresh and cooked perfectly not over cooked and again the depth of flavour was great but didn’t over power the main focus of the mussels but enhanced it. Dessert was taken by three mikado pancake this is in fact two large pancakes with ice cream which were lovely and freshly cooked, peach Melba was light and the ice cream was good quality and finally apple pie which again was tasty, full of flavour and served with good quality ice cream. The lattes were good to served “split” not a negative but a positive see the photo! Would I eat here again? Without doubt but would make sure I booked as whilst eating they did have to turn people away as were at capacity. Definitely if you’re in the area try this for good food and good service. Well done to owners and staff for having such a great welcoming establishment serving good delicious food!"

"I have been in estartit for 20 years, in which I often passed robert this year I thought I would try it as most other restaurants were packed. what a surprise the set food was delicious and very affordable. we. went back to another evening and tried most tapas on the menu they were all freshly prepared and brought a few to a time no hurry to us out how some restaurants some were not on my taste that the dosis does not mean that they were terrible just not my taste other in the party loved they I liked most of them a very pleasant evening staff were very pleasant and helpful as they did not make their party. all in all great service great eating great price great creation i will back next year"

"Family of six ate lunch. 4 pizzas with plentiful toppings of good quality and on decent bases. 2 pasta dishes disappointing; pesto pasta was ok, but carbonara was thin and bland, lacking on the cheese and bacon and black pepper wasn’t offered or available to get. Really slow to get bill. Brought us two of the same pizza by mistake. Both appeared on bill but waiter quickly removed seventh meal when pointed out. In fairness, it was the end of lunch service."

"we decided to come here on a recommendation from camping castel montgri as they apply it anywhere on the website. we decided to share some appetizers of chicken wings, chicken stripes and nachos. that when it went down the first part of the chicken stripes, my daughter decided to break it into the half before she ate it. as glad she did, as it was raw in the middle still pink, we sent her back immediately. the waitress didn't seem upset by him without apologising or something she just sneaked away. our new came and be careful we broke one in the half to check this where ok, which is not where raw again. No apologise or apologise just took them away to get new.... Surprise the same happened a 3 times. at this time I was smoking and we decided to go, but to say goodbye to this disgusting place, where then asked to pay for the drinks we had. So we had been supplied three times with raw food and had no excuse, then we asked to pay for the drinks we had. I have never seen customer service like this rude ignorant worker and a cook that can cook the simplest things. my main concern was if a child had gotten this to eat, they wouldn't control them, they would only eat them and then became very ill."

"we drove past this place with the children and decided to go back for dinner, as it was full of locals. we arrived at 9 o'clock and were surprised how quiet it was. we were shown on our table and offered menus....Olives were on the table and the service was slow, but I guess it should be. we ordered from the tasting menu, which was good at 45 € with wine until the food came, then it was more extraordinary worth. we had all that came out of the sea. oyster, sardelle, mush, carpaccio prawnen, tiger prawns in garlic, tinted fish. all this and we were not even at the main course of half a lobster. finished with an orange segment dessert with ice cream we were full to the edge and very satisfied. all have washed out with a beautiful bottle albariño. the place was filled when the cure came and at the end it was not full, but it was busy enough to have a good bush over the place."
