"Muy buen restaurante sidreria. Ubicado en una zona apartada de los pueblos, el restaurante se encuentra en medio de sus campos de manzanas. Tienen mucho terreno verde entre la natura, una zona chill con jardin, bar, tumbonas sombra debajo arboles. Justo al lado se encuentra el restaurante, muy acogedor y bien cuidado. Tienen tanto zona interior como exterior llena de verde. La exterior tienen ventiladores en el tejado junto con pulverizadores de agua (que no molestan). El servicio muy correcto. Siempre son jóvenes muy atentos y que sirven rápido (no los hemos visto estresados o perdidos como en muchos otros restaurantes). A veces la mujer de la entrada parece tener mal dia, pero sin problema. Importante reservar con antelación. La comida muy muy rica. Tienen bastante variedad de platos, de carne, pescado, verduras, algún arroz... Como también se puede ver, al tener muchas manzanas tienen especialidad de zumos y sidras. Precio algo elevado, pero se lo pueden permitir y esta justificado. Totalmente recomendado sin duda. De los mejores que he estado en todos los sentidos."

We've eaten in the carte restaurant, scopinyes, rap and red tonyine filet. the well prepared presentation of the dishes and the accompaniments also. just to say that the tuna and the rap were not or were melosos, a little dry, to be of letter and with its due cost. the very kind service. excellent site and decoration."

"I came here the first time the end of August and the service and the food was impeccable! The duck breast with Porto wine sauce is the best thing I’ve ever tasted! I had to come back, so I visited again last week and while the service was a bit of a let down in comparison to the first time, the food was amazing once again. On top of all that, Because we couldn’t find any taxis, one of the staff, Juan dropped us off at home which I think is amazing customer service. Can’t wait to be back again and thank you Juan!"

"We travel to the Emporda region of Costa Brava 3-4 times a year. We enjoy eating out during the day taking advantage of the great value to be had in the Menu del Dia. There really are some fine restaurants in this area with my particular favourites being LA gruta in Escala, la Sala (towards Torrent) , Les Coques Del Psss in Peratellada, el Moli in Escala. On our latest visit we stumbled across La Paissa de l'avi in Fontanilles. It was not very obvious that it was open but when we finally got over that we were treated to an absolute feast who quality would rival any of the restaurants mentioned above and value for money that would beat all of them. So much so that we went back for 3 days in a row ,took a day off and went back on my last day (which is not at all our style). Goats cheese salad was the best i ever had , Turbot outstanding , duck was special , Paella so moist and tasty (i think this is a regular on Thursday) .. i could go on.... Fine dining it may not be but for Quality, value, and service it won't be matched. House red is very drinkable and coffees were the best we had on this visit. Menu del DIA is 12 euro on Thursday , 18 Euro menu available every day and night."
