"I'm going to eat the new opening regularly about 1 to 2x a month) in the forest. To two, to larger groups with 15 people. The hard core 4 to 6 people, all learned gastronomics) have always been super satisfied! The beer garden is a dream! There are no big street noises and the wonderful old chestnut trees donate magnificent shades. A huge plus point is the many parking spaces in front of the restaurant. The service was always super courteous and friendly!! And the food? What can I say?! I think I've ordered the whole card up and down and I've never been disappointed. The tapas and steaks are particularly noteworthy! Price-performance ratio is top! Unfortunately, I have to disagree with my previous speakers, just as with the waiting times. We were always quick. And if it takes a little longer, because maybe just before we have ordered a big table, we'll be happy to wait 5 minutes longer. Man is also not on the run, wants to enjoy and take away himself. Otherwise, the golden M offers itself in Spich, as you get your food immediately, with appropriate quality! And briefly on the subject of prei performance ratio: Anyone who believes to enjoy a decent cattle steak with supplements for less than €17 would wonder what a piece of meat is. Can anyone trace where the meat comes from the legislature and the Internet make it possible nowadays). People want best meat from happy cattle who have spent their lives on a green pasture in organic quality and, of course, without antibiotics and growth hormones. But please not more than 10 €. Unfortunately some people think you could get good quality at prices of 10 years ago, but unfortunately the bill is no longer up today. Only wage costs, fixed costs, purchase prices, etc. have increased by 25%. Unfortunately, there is nothing left to the gastronomic to become more expensive, to resort to poorer quality or to finished products. But every good gastronome wants to offer the guests top quality!!! This should be the claim of good restaurants!!! If you are unable to hire yourself as a guest, stay at home and throw a curryking into the microwave!!! As a learned kitchen master and hotel businessman, I can only shake my head and knock my hands over my face. In this sense, I can only recommend the forest quenching!!! We will continue to enjoy the delicious food and the friendly service in all regularity and recommend it to everyone!! Friendly greetings to the team of the Waldschlösschen!! Keep going, you are on the right path! Dominic R."

"We have eaten her twice in the last week. One lunch and one dinner. Service was good both times although they can be very busy at dinner time. Staff was very friendly and their English was considerably better than my German. The restaurant is large and seats a lot of people. It has a reasonably large and free parking lot although this can be full in the evenings. The address for this restaurant is Troisdorf but, it is on the very edge of Troisdorf directly off the A59 and closer to the Spich Bahnhof (train station) than the Troisdorf station. It is very easy to reach by car.The restaurant has adequate staff to serve the large seating area and the kitchen seems to keep up.The food is good but, this is not Tuscany and don't expect it to be like a meal in a local diner in Greve in Chianti. The price was quite reasonable and both times our meal for two with salads or antipasta and a main course plus sparkling water was in the neighborhood of €33.The pizza is gigantic but is also a style where the crust is only slightly thicker than a tissue paper. The toppings are tasty but thin. It is a style many people like but, my own preference is for thick chewy crust and toppings so thick a piece is hard to pick up like the original Uno's in Chicago or Regina's in Boston. This pizza has crust so thin it is difficult to pick up but, most people in Germany seem to eat pizza with a knife and fork.I thought the other pasta main courses were much better but, that is likely due to pizza style preference. The pasta dishes were very good and the antipasta appetizer plate was generous, plenty for two. It was unusual in that it had a variety of seafood items in it but, it was very good. This is a restaurant I will most certainly go back to and, I will likely try some of the other nearby ones including Bonn, Hurth, and Köln."
