"Wir haben heute nachmittag mit der gesamten Familie hier gegessen. Ambiente ok. Preise der Speisekarte sehr moderat. Bedienung sehr freundlich.Essen ok. Gute Hausmannskost, aber auch nicht mehr. Meine Frikadellen waren ok, leider von einer Seite zu scharf angebraten. Geschmacklich ok. Tomaten waren kalt, Bratkartoffeln super.Roatbeef sah sehr gut aus. Schnitzel waren ok, für mich sahen diese sehr trocken aus.Insgesamt super, tolles Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Kommen bei guten Wetter (toller Garten) gerne wieder."

"We had dinner there last night. The food was fresh and delicious as other reviewers have described. This place is well pegged already. Confirm the mango lassi was great! The level of spicy was also excellent. Hot enough to create some endorphins, but not too...much to kill the flavors. The only negative is the sound level. It was full, open space, and very loud. If you want a quiet dinner, this is not the place."

"Walking under the rain trying to find a place in these parts is not an easy task, so we entered this restaurant not really knowing what to expect. We had a fantastic welcome and were greeted to a series of daily specials that all sounded...better than the other. While we were thinking of what to get, the server came back with a good tip: he just received a delivery of fresh burratas. Our Italian colleague sounded excited about this, so we all ordered this as an appetizer. That was the best! Melt in your mouth mozzarella, perfectly balanced with cream and drizzled with an amazing balsamic vinegar. This I will remember for a long time. But then it went downhill from there as we got the tuna. Even though we asked it seared, as rare as it could be, it was served completely cooked. The sauce and potatoes were really good, but the rest of the vegetables were pretty bland. A disappointing dish. Bottom line, this would have been a 3-star review but with the burrata shooting straight to my top 10 appetizers of all time and with the friendly and smiling service, I have to give it 4"

"I had a wonderful evening – once I was shown to my table (see below). even if the right Michelin star “Ente” is to be closed and “the duck bistro” has taken over its spatialities, it was usually starworthy. I have not felt much of a difference between the menus of the entrance and the bistro. pasta with summer truffles could have been more impressive, as the truffle fragrance was quite light and the pasta could have done with a little more salt. in contrast, the main (veal) and the desert were fantastic, as the service was: not to blame at all! a question that I never met so clearly: I called around the day of my planned visit and was pointed out that a table is not available for one in this night. I rejected the offer to be placed on a waiting list. looking for another restaurant I passed the entrance and saw that not all the tables were taken. I tried my luck before location and – surprise – was shown a table. Moreover, I could observe that in this night definitiw not all the smaller tables were taken. I can understand that a restaurant prefers to take a table of two instead of just one guest. but to reject the reservation of a single guest for the same night when the booking numbers are obviously not so strong that I do not understand."

"The place was nice and the service was quite good, but unfortunately the ingredients in the pizza were not good too many fake ingredients or colorants mentionned with a , at least they mentionned it at the end of their menu. Also, the dough was...not great in texture and taste. Disappointed, because if could be great if the quality of the ingredients was good"

"I’ve been coming here since Today we drove from Kaiserslautern to Wiesbaden for “the best” Greek food...EVER! Coming to Niko’s is like home. Today, my friend and I started with Fried Potatoes and Tzatziki. Niko’s Tzatziki is the best I’ve ever had, including in...Greece. We also had a Mikti Salad, a perfect mix of kraut, white beans, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions and feta. For the main course I had Calamari a la Niko, my friend had Souvlaki Lamb. If you live within and are in the mood for Greek food it is worth the drive to eat"

"Mittagessen nach Stadtbummel. Ich wurde sehr freundlich begrüßt. Alles dort ist sehr ansprechend. Dezente, geschmackvolle thailändische Dekoration und hübsch eindedeckte Tische. Zu Mittag ist eine Suppe inclusive. Ich bestellte zusätzlich Frühlingsrollen, die köstlich hausgemacht sind. Die Suppe wurde dann wohl vergessen, der Hauptgang wiederum...grünes Curry mit Rind war eines der besten, die ich je gegessen habe. Mit vielen frischen Kräutern und nicht zuviel Gemüse. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und persönlich. Ich kann Bai Bua wirklich weiter empfehlen!"

"We were fortunate enough to wander by this delightful Spanish tapas spot at just the right time and secure a table outside overlooking the beautiful Goldgasse. Every plate we ordered was delicious but none of us can stop talking about the sauce that the shrimp (camarones) were served in. The only even slightly disappointing choice were the potatoes as they looked like standard American-style potato wedges although the garlic sauce that accompanied them was delicious. The San Miguel beer was cold and the service friendly although not terribly fast. All in all, it was a most enjoyable experience and we'll definitely go back!"

"After getting a bit tired of eating in Frankfurt all the time I decided to broaden my scope and look for an Italian restaurant in Wiesbaden. I was triggered by the Osteria Da Enzo reviews and decided to go towards Wiesbaden. I was fortunate enough...to find a parking place in front of the restaurant, it was pm so that's maybe why (and let me mention at this stage the only issue with this part of town.....parking is hard to find The restaurant is not too big in all fairness, and that's probably why the quality is so good. The owners managed to still put a respectable number of tables inside, and there's limited seating outside. A handwritten menu on a school board was presented with the day (weekly specials, in addition to that printed menu. I chose vitello tonato as my appetizer from the printed menu and spaghetti with truffles from the daily/weekly menu. The vitello tonato was really great, particularly the vitello was very tender and fresh (next time I order I will ask them to serve it without boiled egg, I am not a great fan of that, but it did not due any harm to the dish), and the tonata was also great. The spaghetti's used for the main dish were thin, which I really like. Great truffle taste also. After great dishes, had not choice as to also pick a desert, which was my always favorite Panna Cotta....again a dish made to perfection. Service is friendly and efficient, nothing to complaint there also. I was there on a Tuesday night, but I can imagine on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays the place fills up quickly and most probably reservations are recommended. Also, probably better off taking a taxi instead of trying to find a parking spot nearby. If you can't find a parking spot on the street, your best bet is to drive back towards the main shopping area and park in one of the parkhauses and accept the to minutes walk back to the restaurant. Prices are reasonable, not necessarily cheap but also not over the top! Will be back for sure the next time around in the Wiesbaden Mainz Frankfurt area!"

"Service sieht anders aus! Wie kann man jemanden nach 50 min warten lassen, die falsche Pizza geben und dann auf nachfragen, absichtlich falsche Auskunft geben und dann mehr Geld berechnen! Und dann am Telefon sagen, man solle sich das Geld, was mehr bezahlt wurde abholen! Eine Entschuldigung wäre nett! Das letzte mal das ich da war!"

"Myself and two friends visited this restaurant last night after a recommendation. Its the best dining experience I have had in wiesbaden. Our waiter was so helpful and suggested plates for us. The potatoes were fantastic. Greeks do the best chips! The gyros and rumpsteak...was so tasty. I can't wait to go back again. We ate and drank very very well, and was pleasantly surprised how reasonable the bill was. Go here!"

"Ein schönes Ambiente erwartete uns , wir waren zu viert an einem Samstag dort zum Abendessen, hatten zuvor reserviert , es kamen während wir unsere Getränke und unsere Speisen auswählten immer wieder Gäste herein wurden aber dann abgewiesen da alle Tisch bereits reserviert gewesen, ich dacht noch dass das für das Restaurant spricht und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht . Alles war gut bis sehr gut , der Service hätte ein bisschen funktionieren können , aber ein junger Argentinier bemühte sich sehr charmant um uns und stellte uns letztendlich insgesamt zufrieden . Wir werden wieder kommen ."

"On the positive side, the service at Amadeus was friendly and prompt and the overall atmosphere is warm and inviting. But the cuisine is nothing better than average. The first course salads and the fish soup were good but this was balanced out by the...less than stellar main courses consumed by our party of four. The spaghetti in one dish was over-cooked and limp, not al dente. The pork strips in a heavy mushroom sauce served with fried potato pancakes was very ordinary and the schnitzel with fries was nothing special. But really, what can you do with schnitzel? The place is obviously very popular and reservations are recommended. I'm just not sure why."

"I would like to mention the good in this restaurant, and these are the burgers. they are waiting too long. we were children there, they had to eat after us and that took about 45 minutes. the peis/performance ratio does not fit from the front to the back. at the beginning I was wondering why no prices are listed on the internet site, but I was quickly aware. the burger costs 8.50, which is completely okay. Unfortunately, they have paid for additional pommes that they can not call pommes 3.50 if they want a bathroom back to a euro. a softdrink costs up to 4 euro and a little 4.50 the service is chewable among all. the children ordered a pfirsich eistee, then they brought us minze. no problem can happen, but they told us we lie. we asked for additional ketchup and were allowed to wait 15 minutes until the pommes were already empty. the music made us full of ears. You can't talk normal. Moreover, there were very aggressive music that is certainly nothing for everyone and made so headaches. for the calculation, the operation then needed 20 minutes again and we had to calculate them at the end. because this is not really what for everyone on the map, there are very unusual things. because my friend didn't steal anything, she asked her about a simple kinderburger, then she said, "he's just for children." he was just that big, just without Nick-Nack and just as expensive, so where is the problem? my recommendation does not get this locally on everyone. especially with children in other local is much better off."

Gordon, the Owner, knows we Americans and Brits have many choices here in Wiesbaden, so he does not compete, but he make...us feel so at home, that this becomes your homeplace. We all eat at many other places as evidenced by the Trip Advisor List, but we always return Home, here to Scotch. Here you can find whatever you are looking for, a Burger, a Steak Unbelievable!!! Fish and Chips, Schnitzels, Haggis, Neeps and Taties, Mash, Salads, Pizza, Beers, Wines, Mixed Drinks, Single Malts, Breakfasts, Brunches, and did I mention Beers and Scotches? On top of all this you have days of the week to choose from and more hours in the day than you choose from to show up and be entertained by the fabulous food and rink and atmosphere that we expats all call home. PS and the prices are extremely reasonable, and the service is excellent!!!! This is a must not miss!!!"
