"The food here is absolutely stunning—one of the best meals we've had in ages! This charming restaurant is owned by a butcher, and all the dishes are prepared by his wife. It's truly a hidden gem that you might not discover without a recommendation. I highly suggest making a reservation. The staff were all wonderful, and I couldn't find a single fault with the place. We will definitely return! The owners took the time to chat with us about our home and showed genuine interest in our weekend getaway. The lamb shank was just perfect!"

"Where do I start We stayed over in our campervan and we were made to feel welcome from the minute we arrived by Wendy and the team Absolutely nothing was too much trouble We had food twice that was freshly prepared and absolutely beautiful we were lucky enough to have been there while there was live entertainment baldy Holly fantastic and a great night was enjoyed by all Wendy has only just had this place for a month and the locals have nothing but praise and we can see why I read a couple of reviews complaining about hand written menus etc get a grip your not eating the **** menu opening a new business takes time All I can say is that this is a hidden gem of a pub and we will definitely be back thanks for making our stay so enjoyable and we will see you very soon Lisa and Jimmy"
