"One of the best burgers in Zurich. It is not #1 but is in the top 3! Price is more or less reasonable. We paid chf 60. for 2x burgers with frits and drinks. There are cheaper places, but they can't get up with quality. Meat Patty is juicy, brioche bread is fresh and fluffy. The only negative critic is the Burger sauces are kept simple ketchup and mayonnaise; limited sauce selection. I'd rather take a burger with Burger Master instead of McD! I always come back when I bless after a simple delicious burger!"

"This place has high ratings, came recommended and was full of diners. The main question is why. Why put food trucks inside? The charm of food truck dining is standing or possibly sitting in a public space while enjoying a cuisine or item that would be hard to find in a traditional restaurant. This place seems to be for people who think they like food trucks but really don’t, or don’t get the concept. This establishment is basically operating as a restaurant where the food comes from three different kitchens. The decor is cool and trendy and typically industrial/steampunk/exposed everything. Also lots of cool and trendy people. Clearly a see and be seen motivation involved. There is a nice, small music hall adjacent which housed an excellent artist on the night we were there. Now on to the food. First, congratulations must go to the staff for orchestrating dishes from three different kitchens arriving to the table simultaneously. This is a significant accomplishment. The best recommendation would be to order a bunch of apps to share and make a meal of that. Smoked trout with beets was excellent, the gyoza are good and the crumbed shrimp were the most perfectly cooked in recent memory. Main courses were boring: Hacktätscshli with smashed potatoes, roast chicken with rice and veg, pulled pork burger, absurdly small sushi ‘plate.’ A question and a comment: 1) Why do so many places fall into the trap of having exciting apps and boring mains? (This is not a Swiss fault, as it occurs far too regularly in many first world eateries); and, 2) These are typical, well-established mains that show no ingenuity or can easily be had at many other places. That’s boring. Finally, wear clothes you don’t mind smelling like you worked the fryer station for the evening. Some of the money spent on decor should have gone on better extractors."

"The food is delicious but the quality has decreased. Still very recommend though. There is a large selection on the menu and it is made by a real Asian. The amount is perfect for the price. Take away is very easy and you even get a little discount. Sadly there is no parking spot for the restaurant but you can find a lot close to the restaurant. A train station isn’t far from the restaurant and is easily accessible for everyone. Once you leave you get a little fortune cookie for free "

"I tried this restaurant with a friend and can really recommend it to anyone for its great food and good service: if you want to have a taste of Japan, here's your place. We ordered assorted sashimi, unagi and ebi tempura: all was excellent. They have a very good and varied menu, next time I will try sukiyaki which you don't find very often on Zurich! Only two minutes away from the HB central station, it can be easily reached from anyone in Zurich."

"Zum zweiten Mal hier innert 3 Wochen und auch diesmal wie beim erstenmal HERVORRAGEND. Die herzliche Begrüssung vom ganzen Team der erste Höhepunkt vom Abend. Wir konnten diesmal im liebevoll gestalteten Garten essen. Die Entscheidung ob Gänseleber oder Pulposalat als Vorspeise viel mir schwer, ich hatte das letztemal Gänseleber und die war köstlich, ich habe mich dann trotzdem für den Pulposalat entschieden, kein Fehlentscheid, auch der wunderbar!!! Das Entrecôte Café de Paris genau so gebraten wie wir es wünschten und die Sauce, ein Traum, darum habe ich völlig vergessen ein Foto zu machen, ebenfalls TOP die Pommes allumettes, die immerwieder frisch gemacht nachgeschöpft werden, wie auch die traumhafte Café de Paris Sauce. Ein grosses Lob gehört auch dem Service mit der kompetenten Weinberatung von Herrn Özer, er hat unseren WeinGeschmack voll getroffen. Wir kommen sicher wieder, versprochen."

"My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Coronado in Zurich. After fretting over where to eat dinner (yelp was not much help), we decided to walk through the park across from the hotel. We came upon Neubuhl, and upon reviewing the menu (German, Swiss, and Italian light dishes) we decided to stay. The evening was still sunny and warm, so we took outdoor seating (it's the smoking section). The view of the park is amazing; we forgot we were in a busy city. I chose the Swiss weissbier, and my husband chose a lager. Both delicious (6.5 f). For meals, he had the veal schnitzel with spinach salad at 32 f, and I had their daily special of butter poached flounder with almond crust, rice pilaf, and spinach salad at 36 f. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. The prices were very reasonable compared to other similar dishes at other restaurants we were scoping out. We went at 6 pm on a Weds night, and it wasn't very crowded. A perfect evening!"

No personal attention talking to guests, the lady was checking something else talking to us, would be good to concert on eye contact with person you are talking. Good class was missing."

"Talacker serves very delicious thai asian food. The quality of the food is outstanding! And the service is very friendly. The Between 12 and 1pm it get‘s pretty crowded, so you either call them in advance or be early. For business lunches it might be a bit to lean back, but that depends on your style... I prefer the Miso Noodle Soup, but their lunch menues are great as well. Espresso is ok, but the chocolate brownie is great at the side. I love this place!"

"Nice location, great food quality, nice staff, all good or more than that: special. But hey: CHF 110 for 2 people for the following: A (very nice) small cheese and ham plate, müsli and (one) portion of (very nice) tartar (for two) A (very nice) toast with egg, salmon and a great sauce A (very nice) waffle with vanilla ice Together with coffee (not included in the 55/person) and some tip we paid 140 CHF. So why all this was quite nice and you do have a great location and team: some ham and cheese, a salmon toast and a waffle coffee for 140 CHF for 2 people is simply too much for what it is. It may also be a good idea to offer like a glass of orange juice, prosecco or just bluntly; coffee as INCLUDED, surely some guests will find that appropriate. We will come for a dinner for sure and hope for a more reasonable price/performance there. Congrats to a great team! p.s.: One did not feel overly much of a Michelin 1 Star in the brunch, but guess that was not the goal an I agree cannot be accepted for 55/person"

"The place is cool, good atmosphere, design, art. But the food was so, so bad. We were given sharing platters for each table, but so small that we had to cut the eggplant wedges in small pieces because there wasn't even one per person. Another dish was just a cooked pumpkin with some sauerkraut on top. The fried cheese was almost cold. They asked us if we wanted more food but we said no even though we were still hungry, because it was so tasteless and uninteresting. The chocolate cake with liquid core was great, but why mandarin ice cream with chocolate? Finally, we arrived at 6.30 and the third course (dessert) was served at 10. Sorry guys. I might come again for drinks or to work, but I won't even dare trying the food again."

"There were six of us at Restaurant Kle for dinner and we paid around CHF 1,000 for the 3 or 4-course menu with accompanying wine. After that we left hungry. The amuse bouche consisted of half-baked rolls that were doused with oil, plus there was a mini bowl of pickled vegetables, a red tomato paste, hummus pureed beyond recognition and mayonnaise. I didn't find it very pleasant to smear mayonnaise on a warm, undercooked roll. The starter was a kind of large cracker topped with beetroot slices that actually tasted very good and was the only dish that had an appealing texture. This was followed by the main course which consisted of two small, halved carrots with an undefinable jus and a spoonful of undefinable puree. As far as I understand it, two half small carrots are not a main course, they are not even a side dish but at best a garnish. When I first saw this plate, I thought it was a joke. But no... The dessert at the end was a spoonful of chocolate mousse with a spoonful of peppermint ice cream, doused with peppermint oil. The chocolate mousse was too firm, the peppermint ice cream slightly watery. I can't say anything about the taste, as the intense peppermint oil killed any other aroma. Overall, neither the aromas nor the textures were convincing in the whole menu. The mini portions reminded me of 80's nouvelle cuisine. When it comes to nutrition, you feel like you've been transported back in time: This cuisine offers far too little protein and vitamins. There's a lack of freshness, there's no crunch, it's all too soft, too musty, too one-dimensional. The expert service and the interesting wines, which were well explained, remain positive memories. Unfortunately, the ratio of price to performance does not fit at all. Ultimately, I expect a convincing culinary experience from a restaurant of this quality and I don't want to go home hungry and have to make myself a few more sandwiches. For us it was the first and probably last visit to the Kle. Pity!"

"It's a Lebanese restaurant with a super nice atmosphere. The menu is full of vegan and vegetarian options. These are perfectly marked on the menu, so it's easy to recognize them. You can find much more than just salads. They have a special variety of Hummus and other oriental delicacies. The best part is that all the ingredients are fresh and mostly local. A plus: they also have a vegan dessert. The price is good compared to other options in Zurich"

"We went to Barranco on a Friday night and I ate my way through the vegan half of the menu, tasting all four vegan mains and the vegan dessert. I especially enjoyed the “Esparragos” (fermented and grilled asparagus) and the “Camote Umami” (sweet potato). Unfortunately, the portions somehow kept getting smaller and smaller. Only the non-veg salmon ceviche and pork belly looked like actual (but still undersized) mains. Don’t get me wrong: the food was very tasty, the dishes were elaborate and the seasoning was on point. However, we felt like we were paying almost fine dining prices, for fine dining portion sizes (100-150kcal per vegan menu item I reckon, sometimes less), for below average service and a mediocre experience. We spent half the meal discussing where we would order pizza later and left hungry, despite paying over CHF 220 and tasting almost all dishes the restaurant had to offer."

"Excellent Japanese dining experience I had the pleasure of visiting this Japanese restaurant and I absolutely love it. The authenticity of the dishes took me on a culinary journey to Japan. The sushi selection was fresh and artfully presented, and the flavors of the various dishes were simply stunning. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly, and they were able to help me competently with any questions about the food and drinks. The cozy atmosphere and the attractive interior also contributed to an all-round pleasant experience. Also particularly noteworthy is the quality of the ingredients used in each dish. It was clearly noticeable that a lot of emphasis is placed on freshness and traditional preparation.
