"Disappointing Dining Experience at Trattoria Caprese I recently have eaten at Trattoria Caprese and, unfortunately, it was a truly lackluster experience that left much to be desired. From the moment I stepped foot in the restaurant, I was met with an ambiance that was less than inviting. The decor was outdated and seemed like it hadn 't been refreshed in decades. The service was abysmal, to say the least. The waitstaff appeared disinterested and inattentive, as if they couldn 't be bothered to serve us. It took an eternity just to get someone to take our drink orders, and even longer for our food to finally arrive. Speaking of the food, it was nothing short of a culinary catastrophe. The menu boasted of gourmet offerings, but what arrived at our table was far from it. The dishes lacked flavor, presentation, and any semblance of culinary skill. It seemed like everything had been hastily thrown together without any care or consideration for taste. To make matters worse, the prices were exorbitant for the subpar quality we received. "My wife and I discovered this beautiful restaurant almost by chance. The location is not very big but nice. The menu offers very tasty land and sea dishes. We had a very rich and tasty seafood appetizer. As a first course we recommend the fettuccine all'ammiraglia (a revisited fisherman's dish) which is really good and as a truly special dessert is the baba' served with ricotta and chopped pistachios, mouth-watering. In addition to the dishes that really satisfied us, the real gem is Mr. Mario, the owner, who welcomed us, advised us and pampered us, in a discreet way, throughout the evening. Highly recommended"

"Non abbiamo soggiornato presso l'hotel, ma il servizio del ristorante in estate (potrebbe essere diverso in inverno) è stato assolutamente ridicolo. Gli orari di apertura a pranzo erano più brevi di quanto annunciato quando ci abbiamo provato, la cucina apre solo dalle 19 per la cena e una volta (negli orari giusti) nessuno ci ha notati nel patio esterno... Nel corso di una settimana abbiamo provato tre volte e non abbiamo mai avuto la possibilità di mangiare lì. C'era un altro posto al piano inferiore chiamato Mathiaskeller che abbiamo utilizzato due volte come piano di riserva. Il cibo era relativamente buono, la vista piacevole, ma avevamo la sensazione di creare lavoro indesiderato per il personale, poiché sembravano più felici a parlare tra di loro al bar piuttosto che a servire i clienti. La terza volta, nessuno è uscito e siamo andati in un supermercato per avere una versione fai-da-te dell'ospitalità altoatesina... Per concludere positivamente, possiamo consigliare vivamente il supermercato Pescosta Rainaldo nel centro di Calfosch."

"I went on Sunday evening to have dinner with some friends. Fried foods are not written on the menu, the waiter told us that there were supplì and pasta omelettes. I had the pinsa with pumpkin, provola and sausage, really good and crunchy; I also tried the one with potatoes, mozzarella and crispy ham, good but a little bland. Finally we had a salted caramel cheesecake which unfortunately we weren't crazy about, it tasted too much of cheese and almost zero of caramel.
