"Eccellente! Non è necessario essere esperti gastronomici per affermare che un piatto di tagliatelle con gamberi e pomodorini sia davvero delizioso. E che dire dei ravioli di zucca? Il dessert, poi: millefoglie scomposta ai lamponi... Sublime. Eleganza e semplicità sono protagoniste al ristorante Raffaele, con cibi squisiti e un personale sempre sorridente e gentile. Il menù di stagione è fantastico, con piatti tradizionali rivisitati e ingredienti freschi. Ci siamo trovati davvero bene, ma la sorpresa finale è stata il conto: davvero economico per quanto abbiamo gustato e per il posto in cui ci trovavamo. "Visited the place in winter when it wasn’t too crowded. The location is quite popular as it is on the path if you wanna go further to the Santa Maria Della Salute. The food itself is actually pretty good but it is sometimes too expensive. They dont write prices for everything so the check was 60 euroes for some deserts, coffee and wine. Can’t blame them for that but they could atleast tell that they serve expensive wine only. The service is awful. There are a lot of waiters but they come only to italian people and you have to wait 20 minutes even if you call them. The cafes next to it had hesters outside and this one didnt so it was pretty cold outside as it was full inside."

"The food was delicious and the waiter (Fahim) was very nice. Unlike the manager, his behavior was bad. A table was reserved outside and when we arrived, we were told there was no table and asked to sit inside the restaurant. I told them that if there was a table available soon that I would like to move outside, but the manager refused. The star was lowered due to the official. Although the official who was present the day before and through whom the reservation was made, was a different and very nice person, unlike the one we saw the next day."

"Avoid at all costs if you're coeliac Gluten Free. Ordered a takeaway gluten free Margherita and asked twice (once to a waiter and once to the manager) and they confirmed twice this was gluten free. Upon eating it around the corner we thought it was too good to be gluten free. So we returned to the restaurant to ask the waiter out the front and he confirmed straight away it WAS NOT gluten free. Offered no refund but they made us a new gf pizza but I don't know if we even should eat it now because how careless they were. Waiter was apologetic but manager couldn't care less and didn't even give eye contact. Hope my wife doesn't get sick now as we play russian roulette. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!"

"I highly recommend it! During a short visit to Rome, we visited this place twice. A huge selection of food for people on a gluten-free diet (the first two pizzas in the photo are gluten-free my mother recommends!! . Everything was delicious, pizza, burgers, lasagna, even the orange juice delighted me And the service was incredibly nice! "The definition of a hidden gem! Happened upon this place on our last night in Rome and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. Very romantic, cozy spot, with excellent service, and authentic, delicious food to match. It’s tucked away in a quiet side street: a calm and intimate oasis amidst all the activity in Trastevere. We shared the Zucchini Flowers (filled with ricotta and shrimp – what a combo! , the Cacio E Pepe (had me drooling , and the Saltimbocca (the best I had during my stay in Rome – all were cooked perfectly and just oozed with flavour. Capped the evening off with an Amaro. What a genuine joy this place was. We simply can’t wait to return and have another meal here the next time we're in Rome!"

It was still cool in mid-March to enjoy the terrace in the evening but it is well located outside the passing routes, you can eat there in peace. Note, rather local clientele, which changes from the places referenced in the tourist guides where the atmosphere is rushed very often. "A place with a reputation and an extremely touristy place. Very spicy chicory, a dish of PEPPER with pasta with cheese and a gricia with overcooked rigatoni (heresy in Italy) with soft and very poor quality bacon... all in a tasteless water (like broth) that doesn 't exist nothing comes in with the recipe. As for the staff: the annoyed, unclear boy who started arguing with his colleague in front of everyone about their organizational problems for the tables. Unfortunately it is one of those places that I will eliminate forever from my list of Roman trattorias. An indecency. Be wary of the queues in front of the restaurant (almost all foreigners) and the rating on Google. About pizza... I don 't know since I haven 't tried it, but the trattoria and the Roman cuisine are decidedly low quality. Too bad, years ago it wasn 't like this!!"

Mia figlia ha mangiato la pasta, le piaceva. L'insalata verde era anche buona, i carciofi erano buoni, e il vino era delizioso. Stavamo cercando un posto speciale quella notte perché era il compleanno di mia figlia, purtroppo non potevamo festeggiare la festa qui come volevamo, è un po' deludente. A volte coloro che si considerano i migliori sopravvalutano se stessi, desidero allungarmi e cambiare il mio atteggiamento verso il cliente. Se io e mia figlia non ci piace, non c'è bisogno di insultarci e spiegare che non capiamo che cosa sia il buon cibo e forse siamo abituati al cattivo cibo, è così che umiliate voi stessi, non i clienti. Vorrei non mostrare arroganza, ma pensare a cosa si può fare per migliorare. Abbiamo avuto un pasto delizioso in un altro ristorante e ha ricevuto un servizio molto piacevole e caldo. "Roscioli, one of the most famous clubs in Rome. I often found myself reading the various positive reviews and so, driven by curiosity, I booked a table for lunch. The place is characteristic because, being also a delicatessen, it has various cured meats and cheeses on display and as soon as you enter, you can smell all the scent that these products give off! Inside the restaurant there is also a cellar where there are tables and many shelves with wine of all kinds. First, my boyfriend and I started with appetizers based on cured meats (raw ham Italy vs Spain and cheeses (mixed cheeses , accompanied by a basket of various types of bread and a jar of mixed taralli, all handcrafted. Finally, we ordered a cacio e pepe. All delicious, generous portions and high quality food! Furthermore, the staff is very polite, kind and helpful, ready to answer all our questions. Conclusion? If you find yourself in Rome, a visit to Roscioli is mandatory!"
