The glass of wine costs €5 and it is a Terre degli Eremi that can be found for around €8 a bottle. A very basic wine. Correct coffee. Attentive service. The definition of a hidden gem! Happened upon this place on our last night in Rome and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. Very romantic, cozy spot, with excellent service, and authentic, delicious food to match. It’s tucked away in a quiet side street: a calm and intimate oasis amidst all the activity in Trastevere. We shared the Zucchini Flowers (filled with ricotta and shrimp – what a combo! , the Cacio E Pepe (had me drooling , and the Saltimbocca (the best I had during my stay in Rome – all were cooked perfectly and just oozed with flavour.
