"Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante per celebrare il settantesimo compleanno della mamma, quindi un pranzo per circa 15 persone. In primo luogo, rinnovo il mio caldo grazie a Gerardo per l'ottimo menù concordato e a tutto il personale per l'ottimo servizio ricevuto: personale estremamente cordiale e competente. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo era eccellente, tutti gli ospiti erano estremamente soddisfatti dei piatti serviti. La madre che voleva un ristorante adatto per la celebrazione era anche molto soddisfatto. Posizione classica, su due piani, con numerosi tavoli sia all'interno che all'esterno della piazza; nonostante la grande presenza di clienti stranieri, il trattamento non è affatto turistico, ma di grande qualità. Personalmente consiglio questo ristorante a chiunque voglia provare la cucina tipica romana. Ragazzo: Ideale anche per le famiglie, su richiesta preparano piatti adatti anche per i più piccoli."

"PIZZA: BURNED AT THE BOTTOM AND RAW AT THE ABOVE: tasteless I'm sorry to write a review like this but guys... we're not quite there. 30 minutes to make a pizza... empty place and a pizza comes out of the oven every twenty minutes: disorganized service and people in civilian clothes coming in and out of the counter asking for this or that dish where it should be served. AND THEN THE PIZZA: Dry/ tasteless with the ham what a boo... I don't know how old it was. After 26 hours on the plane I ate it by force.. Nice location too... but poorly managed I'm sorry but it could be much better."

"Siamo stati lì due volte durante il nostro soggiorno di 3 giorni a Siracusa: il cibo è semplicemente straordinario e fresco. Offre numerose specialità locali, oltre alle specialità del chef che sono fortemente consigliate. "Abbiamo mangiato qui per essere sulla piazza e c'era ancora tavoli all'ombra. Dopo esserci seduti, abbiamo controllato su TripAdvisor e abbiamo visto che era scarsamente classificato. Tuttavia, la nostra esperienza è stata abbastanza buona. Il servizio era almeno nella media, certamente niente di cui lamentarsi. Il cibo era molto buono. Il calzone era abbastanza grande da condividere ed era buono. Mia moglie ha preso un hamburger ed era davvero eccellente. Nel complesso, è stata un'esperienza positiva... non la migliore che abbiamo avuto in Italia, ma certamente buona e se vuoi mangiare nella piazza Il Campo, non dovresti sbagliare."

"Siamo stati in questa osteria per una brevissima pausa pranzo nel nostro viaggio di ritorno. Per restare leggeri abbiamo ordinato “solo” un antipasto misto dello chef: molto abbondante (6 portate in totale) e davvero ottimo! Materie prime fresche, di qualità, personale gentile e disponibile (abbiamo chiesto di sederci all’interno per evitare il caldo e ci hanno subito accontentato). Necessita un ritorno per un’esperienza più approfondita!"

"The worst pizza I've ever eaten! Poison! We were served an unleavened margherita/tire and marinara, poorly cooked and with plastic mozzarella. I had asked for a marinara with plenty of garlic and I received a piadina with plenty of cold tomato and flooded with oil. When I pointed out that there was no garlic, the manager of the restaurant, with Sgarbi, replied that they had put plenty of garlic oil and that this is the custom in Venice. It's a shame we've lived here for so many years! And too bad it didn't taste like garlic! We paid a fortune for eating at the limit of what was edible. We have always been very doubtful and heard bad things about it but we tried to give it an opportunity: Strongly not recommended, there are much better pizzerias."

"Please do not try this place ! The lasagna was burnt from the sides and it tasted like Microwaved Lasagna. The meatloaf was the worst dish to order and the bread had a foul smell. "Very Roman cuisine, quite tasty. The artichokes are excellent, fried and golden, as are the Giudia style ones; delicious fettuccine alla gricia with broad beans; didn 't like the breaded lamb cutlets with artichokes (very small portion for the price and the cutlets were dry and flavourless). The zabaglione semifreddo is excellent, as are the very fresh strawberries. Service quite slow (only one waiter to serve many tables). Price: €40.00 per person for starter, first or second course, dessert, water and coffee."

"We were in Italy for 10 days. Ran across this place on our last day. Had lunch and it was the best meal we had eaten the whole time in Italy. So good we decided to come back for dinner, which was even better than lunch. For my American compatriots, please do not confuse the language barrier or the cultural differences for anything more than what they are. The staff is not rude, they do things differently in Italy than what you are used to. Most of the staff probably speaks better English than you speak Italian. So work it out whichever way possible. Between lunch and dinner we had the bruschetta pomodoro, spaghetti ajo e ojo, meatballs in tomato sauce, ravioli and the mixed grill. Each item better than the last. The house wine was delicious and the two servers we had were very nice and easily overcame the language differences. If you are in the neighborhood you should really give this place a try. "I have travelled to Rome three times and have made it somewhat of a habit to visit Luzzi every time. However, this time I was very disappointed with the service. It doesn't feel fair because most waiters were actually quite nice But there was this one waiter in particular, who was bald, had tattoos on this arms and wore a jeans fabric apron. He wasn't even a server for our table, but that did not stop him from constantly giving me and my fiance attitude, berating me for asking for the bill. And overall displaying a tone of racism and terrible hospitality. It was my last day in rome, and I was all excited to try their tiramisu, but this experience just left a terrible taste for my entire trip in Rome. I really hope no one else had to experience this person's horrible service..."

"Il cibo era buono ma il servizio era appena sufficiente. Nessuno era sgradevolmente scortese ma sicuramente non sembravano felici con nessun cliente (almeno non con i turisti). Abbiamo chiesto più pane e ci è stato detto che non potevamo averne fino a dopo che i pasti fossero stati serviti... um, ok...? La signora che ci ha portato gli ultimi due piatti di cibo era ovviamente molto infastidita dal fatto che non potessimo capire cosa stesse dicendo (ha persino sospirato prima di ripetere i nomi dei piatti). Continuo a dar loro 3 stelle... il servizio era veloce e il cibo era ben cucinato e gustoso, ma il cameriere ha letteralmente lasciato il conto sul tavolo e poi si è piazzato accanto a me con il pos, aspettando che pagassi... ho fatto un'appunto e ha detto che avevamo finito i pasti quindi stava aspettando... piuttosto poco professionale, secondo me. Vorrei che fossero stati più piacevoli, ma dopo aver mangiato fuori due volte al giorno per quasi 3 settimane in Italia, questa è stata solo la seconda volta che abbiamo avuto un servizio scadente."

"Abbiamo davvero apprezzato la creatività del cibo, era delizioso e molto impattante visivamente. L'ambiente del ristorante era anche incantevole, tuttavia eravamo l'unico tavolo a pranzo (e eravamo grati che la nostra prenotazione fosse accettata all'ultimo minuto! Abbiamo apprezzato il cappuccino di melanzane, il pesce spada crudo come antipasti; un piatto di pasta alla vitella e un'insalata di frutti di mare come piatti principali e un dessert al lampone e champagne insieme a una buona bottiglia di vino locale. Prezzi molto equi per la qualità del cibo. Il primo cameriere (proprietario? Spero di no!) non è stato affatto accogliente (mi dispiace tanto se ti disturbo!), ma il suo successivo è stato cordiale e professionale. Nel complesso un'esperienza meravigliosa e altamente consigliata."

The closing time suggested was 9 pm. There was another Indian family waiting with us and were also denied service.
