True Roman cuisine in a familiar and evocative environment. The only problem you might have is being spoiled for choice, for this reason I recommend the homemade ravioli filled with pecorino cooked with gricia or carbonara and absolutely not to be missed are the breaded slices... What a hidden gem! I loved everything, the food was delicious with lots of vegetarian options. At lunch they have sun in their terrace. And the waiters were very welcoming and attentive. L'atmosfera alimentare era perfetta. Questa è stata la nostra prima esperienza culinaria in Italia e hanno messo il bar in alto. Come ha detto mia moglie, la carbonara stava cambiando la vita. Consigliato, ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, aveva un antipasto con carciofi fritti e polpette, tutto accompagnato da focaccia fatta in casa, calda e profumata. Abbiamo continuato con un carbonara e la torta fenomenale casa, con acqua e vino €30 a persona. Fuori dalla strada quindi adatto per chi cerca qualcosa di non-turistico, in qualche modo si può trovare parcheggio nella zona circostante. Perfetto! We were in Italy for 10 days. Ran across this place on our last day. Had lunch and it was the best meal we had eaten the whole time in Italy. So good we decided to come back for dinner, which was even better than lunch. For my American compatriots, please do not confuse the language barrier or the cultural differences for anything more than what they are. The staff is not rude, they do things differently in Italy than what you are used to. Most of the staff probably speaks better English than you speak Italian. So work it out whichever way possible.
