"We found it unique but very rude to tourists and was told nothing about how the restaurant operates. Server would give us dirty looks and ignore us. Couldn’t get a menu. Waited quite awhile til food started appearing and the server used google translate to inform us it was a flat charge of €15 euro each. No menu. Food comes in courses. That sounded awesome. We received a few first dishes which were very good but then a group of 14 men came in and we were ignored. Those men had three people waiting on them and they were getting food we didn’t get. When I asked about it, of course, they didn’t understand my simple question about not getting bread and was actually told to leave. Just go. Go away. What good we did get seemed mostly seafood. "Sono andato in questo posto per mangiare senza glutine, inizierò dicendo che non sono intollerante ma solo sensibile al glutine, ma questo posto ha la massima sicurezza. Sedono coloro che mangiano senza glutine ai lati del tavolo in modo da non contaminare nulla. Il posto è molto piccolo e i tavoli sono molto vicini l'uno all'altro, è sicuramente necessario prenotare in anticipo, ma è un posto davvero bello, accogliente e caldo. Il personale super cortese per non parlare del proprietario gentilissimo e amichevole, che ci ha anche offerto frittelle con Nutella per il mio compleanno. Parlando di cibo, cosa posso dire... i cibi fritti e i dolci sono tutti senza glutine e deliziosi! Il creme brulee era il migliore, la pizza senza glutine è sul piatto, delizioso e super ripieno, con un sacco di scelta di sapori, mentre quello normale è servito su una pentola in cunei ed era molto invitante. La birra è servita nel secchio e hanno bruschetta che sembrava molto buona tornerò a provarli! Che dire. 100% senza glutine sicurezza, buon cibo, personale molto gentile. Forse i prezzi sono un po' alti ma solo leggermente (ad esempio abbiamo preso 4 suppli, due birre, una bruschetta, una pizza senza glutine (12€ quattro fette ciascuno e 4 dolci e una coca e abbiamo speso €28 ogni in 4 tornerò sicuramente! "Potrebbe essere stato il giorno di Pasqua, ma tutto non è andato bene. Un menu con pochissimi corsi. Un antipasto con una fetta di salame, una fetta di prosciutto, una fetta di formaggio spessa come wafer per 15 euro è assolutamente eccessivo. Quattro Paccheri con carciofi non a mio gusto ma questo è soggettivo. Fried Calamari, tuttavia, era buono. La richiesta per la lista dei vini di vedere i prezzi è stata ritardata in modo da non cadere sulla scelta del cameriere (rispetto a dare la lista dei vini) di un vino sconosciuto a quale prezzo. Quindi è stata presa una bottiglia di vino per 19 euro (prezzo normale). "In Livorno you should eat seafood! We strolled away from the crowdy stalls and restaurants at pier side and found another few locals on the main street near the government buildings area. The big one was full with more people waiting; so we checked in this one for a table for two and got it after 15 mins it was full as well. The service was highly efficient; the drinks came at no time, and the food took maybe 10 mins. The taste is fundamentally good. We ordered a mixed seafood platte and a langostino pacchieri. The mixed seafood plate had swordfish carpaccio, cooked mussels, squird salad, and a small fish frittata. All of them were finely prepared and tasty. The paccheri was also very good the shellfish was fresh and the sauce was the essence. It looks like a small portion but actually pretty stuffing. Staff are efficient but very friendly. The experience adds score to our good impressions of Livorno."
