"This was one of the most enjoyable evenings out in a long time. We enjoyed some fantastic Portuguese wines that were on promotion, and the staff were extremely helpful. The food was so delicious that we decided to stay and eat. The smoked salmon and cheese board was lovely, with decent portions and reasonable prices. We were able to sample all the white, rosé, and red port options before making a decision, which was a fantastic experience. We will definitely be returning."

we sat outside on the back in the small terrace for a sunny Sunday dinner and it was the perfect place. quiet, intimate and relaxing.

We enjoyed a sunny Sunday lunch sitting outside in the cozy patio area at the back of the restaurant. It was a perfect spot - quiet, intimate, and relaxing.

Had a nice meal with my wife. Would recommend. The only reason not 5 stars was that there was a Christmas party, so half of the restaurant was closed. It was so loud and you couldn't see the art. The staff was great and would come back, only no party time a year.

140 Portobello has a lot of potential, it has a great selection of wine which is interesting and well curated. However, the staff were more interested in their smartphones than serving us which made for a very weird experience. Anyway, after lots of badgering, we did get some nice wines and the food was OK too.

One of the most beautiful evenings in old age. Wonderful Portuguese wines in a promotion, with helpful staff. So nice we stayed to eat. Beautiful smoked salmon and cheese board. decent portions and not too expensive. When deciding on white, rosé or red port, we were all allowed to try before we decide. A wonderful experience. Will be back.
