"Arrived in Krems on a Sunday evening during a bike trip along the Danube. The restaurant at our hotel was closed and so where others in the city. So we got to 2STEIN by necessity and we went away in awe with the staff and the vibe of the place. While the restaurant was almost full, with a lot of tables with families with kids of all ages, the staff never gave you the feeling that they were overwhelmed, annoyed or in rush. On the contrary. While hearing that we would like to drink wine and we had chosen one from the regular menu, the waiter encouraged us to look into the wine list as well and supported us with the choosing. Food came fast and all along the evening the guy did not lose sight of us, while in the same time taking calls, greeting people at the bar, bringing food..all with calm and a genuine smile. It just felt like the waiters in this restaurant owned the place, not just worked there. We will definitely come back, the food was tasty, the wine was good, but, more important, the people were amazing!!"

Living for 4 years in America, I tast the burgers at 2stein they are awesome, especially the jalapeño burger is perfect with special frites!

Sehr nettes Lokak am UNI Campus, schnelle Bedienung. Das Essen ist sehr gut und die Gerichte teils ausgefallen. Sehr guter Erdbeermilchshake.

Bad service, mediocre food. A nice looking place but they dont have enough staff to handle a half full restaurant. Food is not worth the slow service. There are many other better choices in Krems.

Die Bedienung ist sehr schnell, nett und zuvorkommend. Die Ausstattung ist extravagant, genauso wie das Essen sehr gut schmeckt und eine hohe Bandbreite von vegan bis Fleischtiger alles bietet, was das Herz begehrt. Ein echter Tipp!

Leckeres rustikales Essen "überbackene Süßkartoffel mit pulled Pork" (siehe Foto). Trotz vollem Lokal freundliche und flotte Bedienung. Preislich vollkommen in Ordnung! Für Bürgerfreunde empfehlenswert! Auch gute Auswahl an vegetarischen und veganen Speisen. Schönes Ambiente!

Die Karte ist einfallsreich und voller guter Ideen, auch für Vegetarier geeignet. Das Lokal wird hauptsächlich von studentischem Publikum besucht und das auch recht zahlhaft. Dadurch entsteht eine eher laute und etwas hektische Stimmung, die man mögen muß. Personal ist meist sehr nett. Kaffee sollte man gegenüber im Cimbalino trinken, wenn es noch offen hat.

Wir waren als Gruppe jetzt schon an die 20 Mal im 2Stein essen und müssen fast jedes Mal 45-60 Minuten auf das Essen warten. Auf Nachfrage sind die Kellner immer recht patzig. Leider gibt es aber in der näheren Umgebung der Donau Uni keine Alternative, daher kommen wir weiterhin. Das Essen ist außerdem wirklich gut, nur der Service ist leider eine echte Katastrophe.
