Caffe Concerto Piccadilly

This chain does the best quality coffee of its peers. My flat white was nicely made and tasted good. This cafe however is rather dark and dated.

The staff weren't at all welcoming which was disappointing. The coffee was average, the tables were dirty and the toilet was blocked. Not the best atmosphere.

This place is nothing to rave about, being met with a cold and grumpy attitude. This made the place seem much less pleasant. Staff could do with training on how to smile.

We all know that you can get a decent cup of coffee and a light snack at this restaurant, but opening when the toilets are out of service and telling customers to use a different Caffe Nero across the street is completely unacceptable. The place was bursting at the seams and once we managed to shoehorn ourselves in past a begrudging man who had taken over an entire area we enjoyed coffee and cakes. The team were professional when under pressure and dealt with orders in turn and as speedily as the equipment would permit. Another staff member would maybe have helped in turning tables around faster.

The restaurant has a nice location and is very busy. It is spacious and a nice place to relax, with fast wifi and light music. The staff are friendly and did their best to manage the long lines. Caffè Nero has recently changed their product range, offering a variety of savoury options, cakes, pastries, snacks, and more. The black americano decaf one shot was perfect with an almond biscotti. However, the reviewer was disappointed by the cleanliness of the restaurant, finding it filthy and covered in crumbs. They believe that cleanliness should be maintained at all times, not just during a pandemic, and that the staff or management need to improve in this area.

I ordered a small latte for take away and was given a flat white sized latte instead. When mentioning this to staff they insisted it was the correct size, as I had asked for a small latte and apparently they serve lattes as small, medium and large. According to their menu (which is standart across all Café Nero's) they serve lattes in two sizes, regular and large, I wanted the smaller of the two, therefore the regular one, which is the one I was charged for, but received a tiny flat white sized latte instead. Staff didn't believe me when I exained that in all other Café Nero locations (I don't usually go to this one) a small latte is served in the medium sized take away cup and that the smal...
