"Monmouth Kitchen has a great ambience, beautiful interior decor and the Afternoon Tea is also good value for its location in Seven Dials. However, our visit was somewhat marred by possible miscommunication between the wait staff and the kitchen we were seated at 4:40 pm and a member of our party arrived 10 minutes later, which is when we informed the waitress that we were ready to be served our food. However, by 5:40 pm, we had only been served our drinks and so we had to inquire to our food. This finally arrived at 5:45 pm, a full hour after the first of our party arrived, and seemed rushed some of the scones were soggy on the bottom, and some of the finger sandwiches were slightly smaller than the others. That being said, the service was impeccable the wait staff offered us free prosecco as an apology to the wait, and were very responsive to our feedback about the food. I would return, but would probably suggest picking an earlier time for afternoon tea so you don't end up starting around supper time in case of delays!"

in the afternoon of great value! the use of various broth for the sandwiches was a pleasant surprise. the sweets were also delicious. Probably because it was still midday, the people took care of their talks that made the environment a little loud for me. overall this is a great experience and I would definitely visit again.

delicious charbonnel et walker afternoon tea. sandwiches were delicious with quirky aromen. especially enjoyed smoked salmon on sour cherry bread. scones were fresh from the many and still warm when we ate them. Light, fluffy and perfect. truffles were a nice note. service was great. the personal has checked that we enjoy our diners and pamper our hot drinks regularly. will definitely return! Delicious Charbonnel et Walker Afternoon Tea. Sandwiches were tasty with quirky flavours. Particularly enjoyed Smoked Salmon on Sour Cherry Bread. Scones were fresh from the oven and still warm when we ate them. Light, fluffy and perfect. Cakes and desserts were delicious. Truffles were a lovely touch. Service was great. Staff checked we were enjoying our food and regularly topped up our hot drinks. Will definitely return!
