"Absolutely appalling!!!Booked on for afternoon tea for my birthday, on Received confirmation email but when we arrived we were greeted by anyone. we asked the girl behind the deskreception where we needed to go for our booking, she just said “You’re sure you booked for today?”I responded, Yes. She walked off without saying anything and left us standing there for the best part of she returned she said they had no booking and asked to see my confirmation. When I showed her she said “We need three days notice for an afternoon tea booking and you shouldn’t have got a I asked what they were going to do regarding our booking, she simply shrugged her shoulders and said “Well we don’t have the ingredients for afternoon tea, so........”THAT WAS IT!!!! Nothing more to say.Needless to say we just left and found somewhere else to eat.REALLY NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!"

Been here a couple of times and the latest visit for a birthday on Saturday evening was just not up to normal standard. No wine because of a busy evening the night before, incredibly slow service, starters that were rubbish and over cooked expensive fillet steak topped off with the promise of a birthday cake that never arrived. Shame.
