I need to visit this place every time and eat their fresh fish when I visit hamburg, maybe 25 minutes drive from the city center, but they will never regret it, they need to book before they go

great eating in excellent location with great view over the elbe. the interieur reminded me of a place where the time slowly passes, many bored to the walls, artistic pendant lamps made of cast iron, laced curtains. nothing was shown to fall into the eye, which was beautiful because it was really real. so was eating, good portions, good quality and a pleasant service.

one of the best restaurant experiences I had for some time. a very authentic bright atmosphere. brilliant view over the river and the passing big ships, whether they sit on the terrace or inside. the menu is designed for fish that is very well prepared, while the dishes are not excessively demanding. fittingly, the personal is unusually friendly without being too formal. it feels like a family-run hotel. we had a really great time and I am sure that this restaurant is the most pleasant experience among the places in this neighbourhood. full 5 stars!

here in the barenese awaits us not only boiedermeier and a fantastic view of the wide elbe with packed frit, but also a hundred years tradition. they feel at the friendly, humorous service and eat in the fine.
