"My partner and I visited this restaurant on a Friday evening for a late dinner. We noted the place was at around half capacity when we arrived so thought this to be a reasonable sign of quality. Ordinarily we tend to check Google reviews on places but quite often don't pay too much attention as the ratings people provide are often disingenuous and extreme for example giving a 1 star due to portions being smaller than expected). However in this case I can sympathise with many of the previous reviews. The place itself has a rustic feel some may say tired dated) and they have proudly displayed their 2019 awards on the wall by the front desk. However it sadly appears this is when the accolades stopped. The service was incredibly slow despite being nowhere near capacity). Once we eventually ordered, our first course arrived before our drinks which we had to subsequently chase up once we had finished). I had the Veal fine no complaints but nothing special) and my partner the Lasagne. While tasty and homemade, it had clearly been cooked earlier that day and then reheated leaving it slightly cremated. For our second course I ordered the Ossobuco. I was unfortunately given a piece that was 70% bone, leaving very little meat and much of what was edible was fat. All in all a very disappointing meal for the price we paid €80 for 2 courses x2, and 1 coke and 1x beer)."

if they are looking for large portions, they will not find it here, but eating is excellent and was enough, letting them more than satisfied.

Great view and ambiance if you eat al fresco. Outside seating is limited, but inside the restaurant was very nice. Pasta was as expected, very good.

5 stars! The food, the service, the taste we even liked how the waiter has explained each and every dish so we know what we are eating and what is the difference from other restaurants

OK food, however the waiters do not 'go ' that extra mile to give you that special feeling that so many other places in Bologna do. The wine a Gaya was excellent, but from Piemonte, and not from Emilia Romagna?

È davvero così buono! Le porzioni non sono molto grandi, ma la pasta è deliziosa e saporita. In ogni caso, vale la pena di visitarlo! Atmosfera incantevole e ottima musica a fare da cornice all'esperienza culinaria.

Price quality not good. The prices are for star restaurants. The food is of very mediocre quality. The main courses were cold. When I told the cook that the dishes were cold, he just kept walking. The wine was good. I recommend to eat somewhere else for this price.

Amazing service. Unfortunately terrible food. 3 people all ordered differently. Chef's gift pre first course was 4 different ways of making food bad. Like the chef was mad at us We only ate the first course because it was so expensive. 2nd course was OK. Fish was very fishy. The veal bolegnese was top notch Summary , 3 people 8 dishes , 200 euros for half of one good dish with rest making you wish you just had a street hotdog. We all went and ate somewhere else immediately after paying our insane bill

Un ristorante molto buono. Il cameriere era molto cordiale e ci ha guidati attraverso il menù. Ci ha persino proposto di condividere un piatto in due, ma la porzione era come se avessimo ordinato per due. Abbiamo mangiato una deliziosa e saporita bistecca alla fiorentina. Se vi piace la fiorentina, ve la consiglio, così potrete riservare l’appetito per il grande pasto che vi aspetta e non ordinare un piatto di pasta prima di gustare la loro deliziosa carne. Era davvero troppo da mangiare, ma molto buono.

Sono passato per una tranquilla domenica sera dopo aver apprezzato lo sforzo che ho messo nel venire. Sono stato accolto e servito con cortesia, e poi sono rimasto completamente affascinato dalla storia e dalla presenza di questa gelateria ambientale. Il cibo era senza pari e la selezione di vini. In Nord Italia non potrebbe essere migliore. Il prezzo, per una qualità e uno stile del genere, non è troppo caro, ma non posso sottolineare abbastanza quanto sia buono questo posto; merita di rimanere qui per i prossimi 100 anni.
