Very good food but missed desserts because no one told us table required for next booking, only told 15 mins before we were 'evicted '. Would have happily accepted this, just tell your diners!

Menu not to my taste. Went for default option of ribeye steak which was cooked perfectly and was excellent. A few trimmings with the steak wouldn’t have gone amiss. Service was okay. Despite asking twice for a final drink before we left it never arrived.

We were seated at a table downstairs, directly across from the door, and every time it opened, a cold draft blew in. One of our main meals was forgotten and arrived late to the table. It had been a while since our last visit, and the food was not as good as it had been before.

This was our 2nd time eating here. We frequently go for drinks there too. The first meal (dinner)we had was fantastic quality from start to finish. This lunch was disappointing. I had the dish of the day which was a cod pasta dish. It was smoked cod which the waitress hadn’t explained. It was quite a small portion the pasta was totally over cooked flat squashed penne pasta tubes. Not a lot of cod. The flavour of the dish was good though.
