"Dropped in for lunch on Sunday. Opens till 16:30 then opens again in the evening at 20:00. It's Italian owned and the owner carefully runs the show. The menu is laid out pizzas, pastas, entrees, with beers, cider, minerals and waters, and a small selection of wines. I ordered Minestrone to start, followed by a vegetable pizza. The soup tasted of Italy. And the pizza base was thin and perfectly cooked. The toppings were not overloaded but perfectly laid out. It remained crisp and hot to the last bite. I finished off with a large slice of fresh tiramisu and an exceptionally good cafe con leche. This is a very competent real Italian no frills restaurant/cafe. The bill, including beer and bread was a reasonable €17. I left happy!"

"Es un lugar emblemático de Santiago, pero nada más que eso. Es un sitio para salir de un apuro, aunque creo que lo que más sirven son bocadillos, sobre todo de calamares y pollos asados. Los pollos asados de estas máquinas que dan vueltas y que son de lo más normal. Mejor para llevartelo y comer en casa que en el local."

"We tracked her, but she got us a lot. It is a bar that leaves the old town of santiago but is not far away. prices are affordable as the rest of the bars in the area; for example, the octopus with clams costs a few euros. But as it is usual to treat you, if you stop to take something, you give yourself a lid to accompany the consumption and there I think it's exaggerated because you get chorizo, cheese with bread and some olives. What do you think? We were going to rest for a while and have a fresh drink."

"Udon is a rare find among the hundreds of Spanish restaurants in Santiago. It’s food is fresh, has a wide variety of healthy options including special diet needs such as gluten free, vegan and vegetarian.l and is delicious. The prices are very reasonable and the service is attentive. Daniel did a great job of taking care of us. Be sure to ask for Daniel! The dining area was very clean and beautifully decorated. There is outside seating as well. Don’t miss the desserts! They are great. If you have grown tired of ham, potatoes squid octopus and eggs with toast, please visit Udon."
