"When you return to a restaurant near your home, you know it is generally excellent......or perhaps, just convenient. Well, the Alpenhof Restaurant, part of the hotel in Niederaudorf,, is more than just THAT! Excellent food, wonderful ambiance, and terrific service made it so wonderful that our friends returned the very next evening! Pork dishes are a must! Raised on the owners' farm, the meat is heavenly! The schnitzel is especially wonderful, so be sure to have that at least once when you visit. Don't miss the desserts, especially the apple strudel. This is fine dining, with wonderful wines, even the haus gruner veltliner was terrific I must add. Next time I am at my second home, Oberaudorf, this will be a stopping plce for my Bavaian tastes. Don't miss it!"

Our dinner here was great after a day of driving in Bavaria and the Tirol. The service was prompt. The food was well prepared and tasty.

We ate here both nights we stayed at Alpenhof Landhotel & Restaurant. The chef was happy to modify meals to cater for my coeliac wife. Staff were great. We all enjoyed our meals in the restaurant.

ausgezeichnet geeignet für Durchreisende kurz vor der Grenze nach Österreich. Wir waren schon das zweite Mal da und können Hotel und Restaurant uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Hund im Zimmer ist auch kein Problem.

we have been coming to the restaurant for many years on our annual ski trip it has always been consistent and has friendly service , great food and a nice warm atmosphere. we will be back next year and can recomment this to anyone

Einfach Klasse. Wir waren vor einem Jahr schon einmal dort Übernachtunsgast. Jetzt waren wir zu Abendessen. Es war sehr gute baxerische Küche. Hat uns gut gefallen. Der Empfang sehr freundlich ebenso wie die Bedienung. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Wenn auch leider nur eine Nacht auf der Durchreise, aber sehr nett, freundlich und sauber. Besonders zu empfehlen ist jedoch noch das Restaurant mit sehr netter Bedienung und einem sehr sehr leckeren Essen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder, alleine wegen dem frischen leckeren bayerischen Schmankerl aus der Küche.

The hotel has its own farm and raises its own pigs and cattle so the food is very fresh. The pies are made on site, out of local produce. Dinner was very good. Service was friendly. I stayed two nights in a comfortable and spacious room. There were no amenities in the bathroom, but I had my own soap with me so it was not a problem.The internet didn't work well with my iPad. It was picky as to which access point I selected. The one I was advised to use just spun there with the iPad trying to log in. The one new the front desk worked.

Going out for dinner in restaurant with 2 x Grandparents 2 x adult children and 2 grandchildren can be a difficult combination. However with a large table and a white tablecloth we were welcomed by a very charming older waitress who made everyone feel welcome including our 3 year old grandson with crayons and pictures to colour.The food was typically Bavarian and of superb quality, everyone enjoyed the food and we were pleased with both cost and quality. My Grandaughter ate everything she ordered and that is high praise.We will be going back for sure.
