"Not to sure if they have a new chef but the food was not the same this visit!! Lamb was over cooked and broccoli was rock hard! Drink glasses still had dirt present as well!! Ladies bathroom needed a clean cobwebs in the bathroom toilet was filrty. Really disappointing as it's out favorite place to go but due to this visit i may have to look else where"

"Booked Ponte Nuovo for 25 people The manager was very accommodating with all our needs Food was excellent We had a 3 course set menu Food was delivered hot and on time for each course Service was excellent from a warm welcome, they could not have done anything else to make the experience better Thank you"

"I come here twice a week, the coffee is great and the staff is the most friendly you can find. Every once in a while I treat myself to a biscoff filled doughnut, banana bread or a Japanese cheese cake. They're all glorious! So sad for them to be closing until December, but as I learned this morning they'll be doing cake deliveries. It's been takeaway only in the last couple of months because of Covid 19 and I can't wait for a sit down option to be available."

"My best friend lives nearby to this lovely little coffee shop and I thought it would be nice for Christmas to get her a selection of Christmas treats from here as I know she uses it regularly and I have popped in here with her for milkshakes and cakes, when I have been to visit her and her lovely girls. The customer service from this small business was incredible, she knew my friend by name and even knew that she had already ordered a Christmas cake from here and kindly recommended switching the Christmas cake in the order for one of her favourite Guinness cakes. Seeing as she had been so accommodating and friendly I asked as a special request if she could put English muffins in as they were a fond shared childhood memory of ours and Corene replied straight away and said she could, no problem. Such a lovely touch that you would probably never get from a large corporate company. I already felt great that I had supported a small business and their customer service really made it a very pleasant experience. I know this year they have extended their range due to covid to provide fresh eggs, milk, lockdown essentials for lots of the locals to have somewhere easy to get these things in a difficult time and just wanted to spread the word of how wonderful they are!"

"Bad food. Loooong wait both for drinks and food. Waiter (owner I was told) got 2 meals wrong. Brought calamari fritti for my husband and I which he never ordered in his life and I can 't stand them as they are like rubber in the UK so would never have ordered that. Waiter insisted I did, not once but 3x! My husband actually asked for whitebait! My husband ordered calf 's liver as a main which is soft and succulent in France, Germany and Greec etc. It was thin and like shoe leather. It is supposed to go into a hot pan, then turned over after a few seconds and taken out of pan served. This is what it should be like "A classic of British cooking, Calf 's Liver is succulently tender and fine grained with a deliciously mild, sweet flavour. More and more people are discovering the delicious flavour of Calf 's Liver due to its place on the menus.« I took it home to give to the dog and foxes!! My friend next to me (we were 13) ordered meatballs which were so salty she couldn 't eat them. Another lady didn 't like how the fish was done. It was mediocre. MY mussels had anorexia. I have photos. They were non existent or if there was one in the shell, it didn 't measure more than 5mm. 20 were empty and the sauce was not nice. Obvs they were not fresh mussels, they were cooked already and just heated up. Lots and lots of small broken shells in the sauce. Must have been the last dregs. Just as well I didn 't swallow one of the shards. Will I go back? No, I 'll go to a real Italian restaurant next time. Bragging about an Italian chef! He needs to go on a cookery course IN ITALY! I lived, ate and cooked there. I know what Italian food is supposed to taste like!!!!! And sooo expensive."
