"In short: Eating Ordinary 4 Stars Ambience Loud, Poor, Closed Tables 2 Stars Service Completely Served 0.5 Stars Total 2.2 Stars Recently we drove along the Kirchhain dam and saw that in this place a branch of Amma restaurants had opened. As we know and appreciate the locality at Tempelhofer Damm, we decided to take this new opening in sight soon. On a Sunday in February 2015 we entered the new restaurant around 20.00 h. We had to climb some steps to the entrance. Arriving inside, we felt a considerable noise. The place was very well filled. We were kindly welcomed by an employee who apparently led the oversight. He looked where there was a table for two people and called several possibilities. The first table stood in the middle of the getaway, he didn't come into question. The other tables were located at the other end of the place on an empire to which it went up three steps. We took place there at a small table. Luckily, he stood at the window as I could later use the window board as a storage area. A friendly co-worker with the cards and a separate cocktail card appeared. So far everything worked. We studied the map. Although it was said that Indian and Singapore cuisine would be offered, most of the offer was Indian. In addition to the usual suspects such as red lentil soup or Mulligatawny soup, there were fancy things like a Macao Wan Tan soup. On request it was said that the soup was not sharp. So I ordered them; my companion took classic Mulligatawny soup. The main courts once again included Indian dishes. I noticed the great selection of duck dishes. To this end, some records, including for several people, were offered. An average selection of beer, wine and soft drinks was offered on drinks. Among other things, Indian Sona gave beer and Duckstein. A sona for my companion and a duckstone for me were ordered. The prices for food and drinks were average. As a main dish, I chose Chicken Badami with a creamy Cashew cream sauce. My companion chose Chicken Jakhni with spicy tomato sauce. We ordered a naan filled with nuts and lamb. I sharpened the service that hardly seemed to be powerful of the German, we wanted to get the Naan to the main court. We had to wait some time to give up the order. As soon as we had received the cards, as long as the numerous services (I counted five to six service forces) needed to be seen again. In a side table, it was arranged that one would have ordered a bread and had not received it. Now we don't need it anymore, now we've eaten. That's what I realized. First we got as a greeting from the kitchen: two Pappadam with three sauces. A short time later the two soups came. My soup was a cream soup with some spices and a few Wan Tan in it. Both soups wounded. Then nothing happened for a while. After all, we got our food. The rice, two bowls with food and a plate with salad were placed on the table. We asked about the Naan. The waiter looked at us big and said he was going to inquire. After about five minutes, another waiter appeared with the Naan. Only he wanted to serve the group that sat behind us. There they looked amazed. My companion had to call twice clearly “The Naan is for us” until the Lord finally comfortable to bring it to our table. At least the food was delicious. Then he disappeared. Until further notice, no operation was seen in our part of the restaurant. I saw a table in the front half, where a large part of the farms at dinner sat in a well-stocked place. It took some time to clear our empty plates and bowls. Our glasses were already empty. We did not order a second drink against our habit, we had no more pleasure. Instead, we asked for the bill. After five minutes, no one had appeared. I looked at the clock and told my companion, after another five minutes we would go and pay at the counter. Just in time an operation with the invoice appeared. There was another baggage on the house. He couldn't reconcile us. No way out! All the time we sat in a hell of a noise. There were loud Indian techno music. The fullness of the place additionally increased the noise level. When we left the place, we enjoyed the peace outside. We have rarely seen it so clearly. The ambience itself seemed inviting. The walls were painted in red and orange tones and provided with beautiful pictures. For this, the tables were so tight that the guests hardly had room. It is an imitation to put as many tables as possible in a place so that as many guests as possible can find room. A little less at tables is often a bit more comfortable for guests. The bottle continued in the toilets. Who suffers from fear of space could get trouble here. In summer guests can sit on the summer terrace. Due to the structural conditions, the location is not suitable for restricted mobile guests and wheelchair users. In this place, the hosts have put the clink in their hands in recent years. Let's see if the amma becomes the next runner in this place. Or if it gets better, the waiters routintered? If I come back again, it'll take a while. We experienced the sister restaurant at Tempelhofer Damm significantly better. I've been wondering if I'm supposed to push all my eyes and forgive just three stars. No, not this time. That's why I was too angry at our visit. There's a lot of air up here."
