He spoke good English and kept singing to the TV music channel. He was friendly and entertaining! I started with the lasagna while my other half had the spaghetti carbonara. Both were very good and freshly made. We both had fried calamari and shrimp. Why they have to leave the heads on the shrimp is beyond me? It makes for a mess when separating. We both had carafes of the house wine-me red, other white. We also purchased a bottle of water. Bathroom was clean and near our table so it made an easy visit to clean up after tackling the shrimp. We split an order of fries. There was no service charge as at many Italian restaurants so another positive. I am giving a 5 even though it was maybe a 4.5. Service was great, food was very good, price with Fork discount was good, wine was reasonable, no service charge but still couldn't enjoy an outdoor seat due to potential smokers. It was one of the best restaurant in Rome on this visit and will be high on the list for our next trip if we stay close by as we did at the Hotel Canada this time. Grazie!"

I booked a table for 2 in the garden area as the restaurant had great reviews and was opposite our hotel. The management couldn't have been friendlier and we were given a table in the outside area even though it had parasols and a retracting roof which was covering our table and somewhat impaired the air flow. However, it was delightful and busy. We wanted to sample both their pizza and pasta so we decided to share a starter and main course. This was accompanied by two half litre carafe's of House White that was very drinkable at 8 Euros a carafe.
