Aqua Brasserie at The Hotel Royale

on Tuesday (8 March) with my wife. really good eating. the staff was very pleasant and helpful. you should try this for yourself.

We went as a group of ten for the 7-course tasting menu and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were very good and the food was great.

Had a three course lunch today found all food well presented and tasty, being a high qualified head chef most of my career.But a little more rice with the lamb and perhaps asparagus tips would of made the dish . Well done.

good tasting card - apart from the only cursor bones that were both small, were still in the filet. the decorated waiter came with a message from the cook I quote, fish should be served with bones in and his job. to do it yourself.

Have visited many times in the last couple of years and have been impressed each time. The students work extremely hard both front of house and pin the kitchen. Each dish arrived piping hot and a work of art displaying many skills. Wonderful flavours and excellent value for money. These students hopefully will go onto be our top chefs of the future. it is difficult to mistake this restaurant when they take on board that it is occupied by catering students training at college. the silver service is pretty good, the waiters had all 7 weeks training and I was impressed. eating is interesting and... different with good choices on the menu. eating was impressively well cooked and presented. a qualitatiw high quality three-course lunch for less than 15 pfund cooked and served by enthusiastic young potential catering stars of the future.

We are indeed pleased with the service and food offered by the students,hence a revisit. The supervisor was happy to receive our comments. We are usually given a form to fill but this time it was not to be. Our overall experience was good. My...only comment this time was that the lighting was rather dim which made the ambience a little dull. A bright dining area is always refreshing. Hope they will brighten up the place. My wife has booked for christmas lunch with a group of her friends

Our group of 30 diners were treated to an interesting delicious menu served by lovely young ladies who are training to become air hostesses. The whole event was well handled by Ingrid the College Restaurant Manager in a very professional manner, with the modest...luncheon cost making it the best buy in Bournemouth. Any special dietary requirements (diabetic/gluten intollerant etc can be accommodated if advised in advance supported by a good selection of wines or soft drinks.
