We had a takeaway from here. Food was amazing, not greasy just great authentic taste. Arrived on time to what we ordered. No complaints. Thanks.

The food from Ashoka was delivered to our home address and it was "piping hot". The quality of the food was excellent and it offered great value for money, just as we would expect from Ashoka.

The only problem was the food, the vegetable curry was appalling, sweetcorn and runner beans? no Indian vegetables at all, looked like the veg came out of a tin! A chicken curry was bland and the onions and peppers under cooked by a mile Visualizza piatti

I used to enjoy this restaurant before lockdown, but my most recent visit was disappointing. The food was edible but of poor quality, and the overall cleanliness of the place was lacking. The staff also seemed unfriendly. This will be my last visit to this establishment.

We have always ordered from here but tonight we placed our order at 6.30 and at 8.50 still no delivery I understand that the current situation is difficult but after ringing twice to chase up only to be told it’s delayed for 30 mins each time not good at all The food is lovely but not happy tonight

Very friendly staff who express themselves well. We had popadoms to start with but they were not crispy and tasted somewhat chewy. The starter was fantastic which was a great lift and came with a plate full of salad to justify the price. The food and service at this restaurant were terrible. A basket of chips was carelessly placed on the table in a very unhygienic manner. Our order was either wrong or never brought out at all. The curry sauce was served in what appeared to be a plastic or Pyrex dish instead of a metal one. I will not be returning to this restaurant again.

We meet up with our friends every couple of months for a curry. Our friends live in Pendle and we live in Rochdale. Our previous restaurant of choice is no longer our favourite so it was time to find a new place. Our pals found the Ashoka and, boy, we were not disappointed! Almost left within 5 minutes of entry, shown to a table and given menus. After looking for the wine list within the menu, because we were not offered a drink or offered the drink menu, I gestured to the waiter for drinks. He was chatting to a member of staff and very abruptly asked me to wait, so I then verbally asked for the wine list. He again very abruptly asked me to wait. There were 3 other customers on one table in the entire restaurant. I talked myself out of leaving, wished I had, the service leaves something to be desired. We ordered and waited, and waited.
